A sanctuary of relaxation, Cape Coral Haven features a tropically landscaped screened- lanai, complete with a private pool. The pool also has a wading area, where you can sit back in the shallow water with drinks and dip your toes. After an afternoon dip, fire up the gas grill and gather for alfresco meals around the outdoor dining table. Prefer to leave the car behind? The garage has two bicycles available -- feel the wind in your hair and pedal to nearby Redfin Cove.

In the evening, unwind in a stylishly furnished living room with a plush sofa, two armchairs, and a large TV. The well-equipped kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, including a French-door refrigerator. The fresh and bright bedrooms present the perfect resting pods for your trip. The main bedroom offers pool views and an en suite bathroom, and all bedrooms have a TV for added entertainment. A private washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and cable are provided.

Things to Know

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house overall was fine and the neighborhood was great. However, the bed in the master bedroom was the worst. It had a big hole in the center. I had to remove the mattress cover and fill it in with folded beach towels to make it level so that I could sleep on it. Absolutely terrible and unacceptable for the price they were charging. Also the pool was pretty, but full of no-see-ums and I and my guests were bitten repeatedly. There were so many plants in the pool area that should have been sprayed for bugs. When I arrived, there was a sign on the microwave saying it was broken (unacceptable). However, I called the manager and it was replaced immediately with a new one.

Furniture is covered and is stained, not as shown in the listing. House was dirty, kitchen and one bedroom had a bad ant problem. There are no loungers in the pool area. Pool and outdoor areas were not well kept and were extremely dirty. The bbq did not work. The bikes all had flat tires. The spa would drain when turned on. The pool heat did not work and was not turned on prior to our arrival as we paid additional per day for pool heat. The pool lights did not work. Outdoor lights were mostly all burned out. There was no toilet paper supplied besides what was on the roll in each bathroom. We spent a day fixing the bad valve on the spa and tires on two of the bikes. Vacasa did not respond to our complaints after two nights we reached out again regarding the cleanliness of the property. We were refunded the cleaning fee and the additional money we paid in advance for the pool heat that did not work. I would not recommend this property based on our 7 night experience.

Needs a ton of work
The management company was excellent. However, they could not help what this house was lacking. To begin with - tastefully furnished?? Furniture needs to be replaced. It is old, worn and uncomfortable. Stocked kitchen?? The kitchen was seriously lacking the basics - i.e. silverware and dishes. We were only 2 people but had to run the dishwasher at least once a day so we had silverware to eat with and bowls for cereal/salad. (there are only 4 and house boasts that it sleeps 6) There is nothing to clean up with other than a dollar store broom and OLD, worn, squeeze mop that was basically useless. The house has central vac but renters cannot use it as they are banned from the garage where the hose, etc. is. There is no queen bed as advertised. Pool and hot tub were very nice however the outside lanai is in desperate need of cleaning, sweeping and landscaping. The sliding glass door looks to be damaged from the hurricane and needs to be replaced as the glass is separated from the frame. The location is good, but all in all, not good enough considering all of the above.

We deserve some sort of refund.
We booked this house because of the spa and pool. When we got there the first day, we called to have the maintenance guy come out to check the pool and hot tub because the remote did not seem to be working. The maintenance guy came out and set everything and explained to us how it should be working and how to use the remote. Each day, we tried to program the pool to be a comfortable temperature. Every day the pool was still very cold. I called and spoke to the manager again and was told that heating the pool will make the hot tub cold. With that in mind, we still wanted to heat the pool but the remote did not seem to be working. A second maintenance guy came out on our sixth day and told us that the labels for the remote were backwards and the pool button was actually the hot tub button. He reprogrammed everything to make it comfortable which gave us one final evening to swim in the pool. We were able to utilize the pool and hot tub a very short amount of time and were told that if you heat the pool, the hot tub will get cold and vice versa. With all of the fees, we paid $4000 to stay in this house for one week which was the highest price we had seen in that area. Also, only full size beds in the whole house. One of the rooms had 2 twins pushed together and they were different sizes and heights. The garage door would not stay shut. The ice maker was broken or not hooked up. I called again our last day to ask for a refund of some sort and was told someone will contact me but never heard back. I called again today and was kept on hold for 32 minutes and eventually had to hang up. I never did get to speak to anybody. Very poor customer service. I believe my entire vacation would have been way more enjoyable had I stayed in a different house with different service and equipment that worked. I would not recommend this home or Vacasa homes at this point due to the lack of return phone calls and poor customer service.
