Beautiful Condo and Lovely View

Nice place

Stay would have been great if we hadnt smelled urine all week. There was either a pet orva nasty adult that stayed in the condo before us. Hard to get information from the propery manager.

We had a great stay.

Pros: great location on a quiet dead-end street and a block from 5th Avenue and all amenities. Modern decor, great kitchen and bathrooms, very clean, great staff, private deck at the pool right off our unit - the pool is well maintained and lovely. Cons: small, very firm bed. Could use more towels/face cloths. Strange layout upstairs which would be better as a proper bedroom rather than a sitting room with futon. There is ample room downstairs to put the TV instead of upstairs. Would be nice to have a water cooler available, even if it costs a little extra. No direct access to the beach - there is a protected mangrove at the end of our dead-end street, the beach access is a couple blocks away. However, the beach is VERY crowded and the shore covered in sargassum - we didn’t spend much time on the beach.

Playa del Carmen Christmas

This is a beautiful, clean and modern condo. Everything you need with your own sun bathing area in the penthouse. Wifi was great, 3 bathrooms so everyone has their own space. Large clean shower with rainfall showerhead. Large kitchen area equipped with everything you need. This condo probably has the nicest rooftop pool/sunbathing area you will find anywhere. Full bar area. Fitness room. Everything was clean and well maintained throughout the building. 24 hour front desk attendant security. The only complaint I have about the condo is that the bed is hard as a rock. Seriously, my bed at home has a firm mattress but the condo mattress was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Otherwise, the condo location is a short walk to the public beach and to all the shops and restaurants of Quinta Avenida Playa del Carmen. Even just a short walk to Chedraui, a large grocery store that has everything at reasonable prices.
