Pet Policy:
* House-trained dogs over 1 year welcome with pre-approval
* No cats or puppies allowed
* $100 pet fee per 10 nights
* Dogs must be crated when left alone
* Dogs may not be left outside unattended
* $75 pet waste fee if yard is not cleaned up
* Unapproved pets may result in a fine of double the pet fee per night

^ Quiet hours: 9 p.m. – 8 a.m. Strictly enforced out of respect for neighbors
^ No smoking or vaping inside (including marijuana) — $500+ fine
^ All guests must be listed on the reservation. Undisclosed visitors may incur a $50/person/night fee
^ No COVID or weather-related refunds. Travel insurance is strongly recommended
^ $75/hour late checkout fee applies unless previously approved
^ Clean grill after use to avoid a $75 fee
^ No refunds for non-working ice makers
^ Utility overuse may incur extra charges based on actual consumption
^ Do not flush wipes or paper towels — plumbing costs will be billed if issues arise
^ 30+ day stays require ID verification and guest screening. Host may cancel if screening is not completed

Loved staying here! Quiet neighborhood, great hosts, they were very accommodative, plenty of parking, a clean, nice spacious house. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved staying in the cottage. My dogs loved the big backyard. It was close to bay, and not too far from Virginia Beach. I would definitely stay there again!

Great stay to attend a wedding!

Beautiful home, great property and very friendly owner. We had everything we needed and completely fell in love with the actual property itself. Definitely going to rebook this property!

Great home, great location

Simple check in process, hospitable host, clean home, great backyard, 15 min walk to beach, 3 min drive. Smart TV’s and WiFi. Great experience.

Perfect Place that Allows Dogs

We had a wonderful stay. The house is cute and clean. The neighborhood is quiet, but the house is very close to the beach. The biggest plus for me was that I was allowed to bring my dog! He is a senior dog and we don't like to spend time away from him. It really helped us feel at home with him there. If we plan to go back to Norfolk, we'll definitely try to stay here.

Beautiful Bayview stay

Just how we imagined it and more. Nice location, Beaches all around you, Va Beach Boardwalk within minutes. House very clean, nice roomy, and well stocked, felt really like home away from home. Kids and fur baby loved it and utilized deck and backyard which was really nice to have. Grocery stores nearby amongst other stores close by. Great home for a great vacation. Will definitely stay again. Thanks again for sharing your Bayview home!

Amazing home!

This home was so beautiful and perfect for my family! The photos of the home are incredibly accurate and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked if you plan to cook, and the bedrooms were a really nice size. There was so much room for our dogs to run around in the yard and lounge around the house. We went in the off season, but still loved how close the house was to the beach as well as plenty of restaurants, breweries, etc. I definitely recommend this home!

Great home away from home

This place was very comfortable. Mostly, we slept very well here. The beds are very comfortable and it is near the end if a street, so very peaceful and quiet. Very clean and well maintained. Our pup mostly enjoyed the large fenced back yard. Communication with our property manager was excellent. She replied almost immediately with some questions we had and resolved one minor problem we noted right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Our recent trip to Norfolk

Overall the house met our needs. Communication with owner was excellent. The house was clean and provided everything advertised in the online listing. The carpets in the house are pretty well worn. I would have liked a curtain or blinds to cover the slider off the kitchen at night for privacy and would have liked a security bar to place on the floor of the slider as an extra security measure. Overall we were happy with the house and enjoyed our time in Norfolk.

Perfect for us!

I couldn’t be happier with this rental. It was exactly what I expected by the description in the listing but, maybe better. Wonderful communication with rental manager that went above and beyond to make sure we were not effected by the one hiccup that happened before we arrived. It was so clean it felt new. Everything one could need was supplied for the kitchen and laundry and the beds were the most comfortable of any rental I’ve stayed. I was visiting with family in the area and the location was perfect to drive to them and 3-5 minutes to park at the beach to walk the dogs in the mornings. Several community parks in the area are also close by. Norfolk is a beautiful, laid back and perfect for a vacation. We felt welcomed and comfortable in the home and the yard was perfect for our dogs. Great quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. I would be disappointed if I was back in the area and couldn’t stay here again.

Quiet Neighborhood Five Minute Drive to Beach

This comfortable home is in a quiet, working class neighborhood, and was a perfect for my trip, as I was down for a memorial, and wanted some peace. As it turns out my friends couldn't make it, so I had the place to myself. The self check-in worked, but it took a while for me to realize just how long to wait before trying the door. Also, be warned that it self locks after two minutes, so make sure you have the still have code before you spend time gathering things from the car. The place is well-equipped and thoughtfully set up. I only used the upstairs bedroom, which is considerably larger and nicer than the other two. Very comfortable bed with nice linens. Do be careful leaning over the nightstand, as you will bump your head on that sloping ceiling! I actually pulled the nightstands away from the low part, because I knew I'd forget and keep banging my head. The upstairs bathtub and rainhead shower are lovely. The only thing that would have enhanced it, would be hooks nearby on the wall for a quick towel grab after rinsing off. The kitchen was well-equipped, and I dare say I used almost everything. Blender, cookie trays, all manner of utensils. The living area is comfy with a Roku TV. A problem with the remote was solved in a prompt and cheerful manner, which I appreciated. Everything was very clean, and there was just a sense of a caring host, throughout. I enjoyed having coffee on the deck, and just relaxing in the big back yard. Nice public beach 5 min from house.

Convenient location

Comfortable neighborhood location, not all "touristy". Beach, Convenience store, and cafes within 15 minutes walk. The yard was perfect for our dog, who is 100lbs and not very excitable, but there are hyperactive dogs next door and a lower fence in the back, that may be issue for reactive/hyper dog. Also some areas in front where a small dog could get out. Sierra was very attentive to our comfort and provides well stocked kitchen, many complimentary starters and beach items, that were really appreciated. Only issue of stay, Be aware NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH between 10AM and 6PM. The lifeguards do enforce this. We weren't aware and had to rearrange our normal "beaching" practice to work around. No fault of Sierra's, I didn't inquire correctly on the beach allowing dogs.

Nice little place to stay

Great place to call home for a week. Nice fenced in yard for the dog and close by to the beach and about 20 minutes drive to just about everywhere of interest in the area. Would recommend.

Beautiful, comfy renovated home.

This house is in wonderful shape, and a very comfortable place to chill out for a few days. Owner was super responsive to a couple questions we had, etc., and the fenced bark yard is great if you have pets. The location is a bit off the beaten path in terms of VA Beach hotspots (about 15 miles or so), but there’s some nice beaches nearby, and plenty of food options in general area.
