Great location

Great location to beach access and a short walk to Hurricane Hanks and Freckled Fin. Great house with all the amenities and super cozy. Will be back again !!

Just Right!

Our family of four (two teenagers) really enjoyed our stay at Sundaze. The location is perfect - a quick walk to the beach about a block away and we loved the pool! The house was very clean and the bedrooms/bathrooms were very nice. We all agreed we would stay there again!

All we needed

Great location within blocks of the beach, Gulf Drive, and many restaurants and shopping places, but still in a quiet neighborhood. All the needed items in the kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs, and cart. Beautifully landscaped and private backyard pool. Hope to make it back here again!

Perfect location

Property is beautiful. Inside very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of beach towels, pool was very nice after a day at the beach. Manager could update photos, as new furniture and bedding has changed.

The Sun Daze property was exactly what we had hoped for. Perfect for two people. We loved the pool and the water was perfect temperature so you could float for hours. Very close to the best beach for awesome sunsets. Hope to return soon

Great Location

Great Location for relaxation and walking distance to restaurants in “downtown” Holmes Beach and a short walk to the beach. Quiet area. Nice, private small pool. Kitchen has all the cooking items you need. Very comfy beds. Other are nice but not exceptional. it does have a washer and dryer - nice to have to lighten the suitcase. Beach towels provided - another nice touch.

Beautiful island home steps away from paradise

This home was a perfect fit for our family. The pool was very clean and just steps away from the backdoor. Plenty of privacy with a tropical paradise in the backyard. Plenty of seating and lounge chairs. Beach chairs, pool toys, and beach towels were a great surprise. We have rented many vacation homes over the years and this is right up there with the best. Very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our time on the island. October is the best time of the year. See you next October!!

Great location with pool

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary/Babymoon. It was a perfect location, short walk to restaurants and stores, and most importantly the beach! It was our first time in AMI and we absolutely loved the beach there. Property was as described in pictures and was a nice space with a nice pool. If I had any suggestions to improve our experience I would say the showers need an adjustable shower head- could not adjust the water pressure which was very intense or where the water was spraying. Linens were kind of scratchy. Also could have had some more kitchen items to make it feel more like home. Also the keypad to the door acted up quite a bit- we always had to enter the code multiple times to get it to open.

Disappointing stay

Poorly managed property. Was not cleaned properly before we arrived. We had to dust shelves where dishes were kept & wash everything before use. Sliding door track is still dirty. We wasted a day and a half waiting on a re-do on cleaning. Beach chairs were rusty, grill was rusty.

Our records indicate you had reported these on Sunday, February 21st, and on that day we had a technician go over to address what you communicated. Our technician delivered new beach chairs as well as a new grill for you to enjoy. Following your initial report, we had also extended the offer to send over a cleaning crew. We always prompt our guests to notify us of any issues that may arise as we try to do everything in our power to resolve them promptly and as accurately as we can. We sincerely apologize for these issues you experienced during your stay and hope to have the opportunity to have you stay with us again.

Nice home and location, lacked essentials

There were things we liked about this property. Good location, walking distance to the beach and a couple restaurants. However we felt like it was lacking on things that make your stay more enjoyable and feel like home. We weren’t expecting to have to provide our own trash bags, hand soap, dishwasher soap, scrubbing pads for dishes, etc. There weren’t laundry hampers, not enough clothes hangers, a broom but no dustpan, no cleaning supplies. Very limited dishes. Things you don’t want to buy then leave behind when you get on your plane to go home.

Spring break rental

Great location as advertised a short 2-3 block walk to the beach doable with younger kids and a wagon(you have to go one block north or south on beach front road as no direct access on the street of the condo). Nice area of Holmes beach walkable to shops and restaurants but still not on a major thoroughfare. Condo itself was nice enough with decently comfortable beds and plenty of space for family of 4. As others have reviewed, would be nice if management supplied a few more items for the kitchen like coffee filters, salt and pepper, maybe some cooking oil, etc. basically things people would need to utilize the full kitchen and grill advertised but hard to justify buying in grocery store sizes for only a week and usually present in other VRBO vacation rentals geared towards short term vacation renters. The pool was the right size for small kids to swim or adults to float. Very private visually with landscaping but a little annoying with the amount of over hanging trees dropping branches and seeds in the water and connecting neighbors feel pretty close with sound amplified if everyone is utilizing the pool.

Honeymoon

We will definitely be staying here again! We loved the island and our little house. We had a few issues ( the bedroom tv remotes not working and is not being able to figure out how to change the channels, we had to use a towel on the floor infront of the master bathroom shower so the floor wouldnt get wet.) but nothing that will keep us from not coming back again! We had a pool person come by twice and a landscape company come in and clean up around the pool area, they were all super friendly. Everyone on the island was amazing. The pool was the perfect size for just my husband and I and would work for a small family. We stayed at the pool almost everyday. The beach was just walking distance and was so beautiful.

Cozy and private

Enjoyed our stay even though temps were cool. Close to restaurants and beach and lots of hiking trails close by which was a big plus for my hiker hubby. The heated private pool was so nice and the foliage/palm trees and fence blocked the wind. Also, loved the cozy house-kitchen was awesome. Would recommend adding a blender.

Great rental close to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was clean, the beds comfortable and our favorite part was a pool in the backyard. The Beach is close. There's two beach access within walking distance. We rented a golf cart for the week so we drove it to the beach most of the time but its an easy walk. Will definitely rent this property again.

Perfect beach home

This property has a great location, just a few minutes from the beach. The landscape is beautiful and there's always shade in the heated pool. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The island is beautiful specially the tip of it where the gulf water and the bay waters combine on a dune laden beach. Due to COVID we were not able to frequent the local restaurants, etc., but we did manage to get ice cream and a few beers at a local Irish bar. The island is very bike friendly, and we took advantage of that. Overall, we had a great experience I would highly recommend the property.

Great location. Perfect for our family. Will definitely plan a return visit

Check in process very easy, unfortunately the cleaning was not completed by check in time so we were delayed access for about 30 min. Not a big deal since we were able to witness the thorough cleaning first hand. Worth the wait

Sweet little house near the beach

We enjoyed our time in this home. It’s only 2 bedrooms but with 2 bathrooms and a laundry area, it felt larger. The pool and back yard is lovely and was perfect for our family of 4. The house was incredibly quiet and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The beach is a 5 minute walk and there is a grocery store, ice cream shop and surf store about 5 minutes drive. The town of Anna Maria is very cute though we spent most of our time at our pool or the beach. We loved this vacation. We hope to come back.
