Great place for family

We spent Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for 8 of us. Plenty of room to cook a big meal in the kitchen and the location was great for local hikes and walks.

Great stay

This is a great space. We had 4 families with 3 school aged children and had plenty of room. The location is great making it easy to explore many sights and still get back to home base to chill.

Great Place for Large Groups!

We rented this "cabin" for 3 couples to stay for the Black Hills Jeep Jamboree in September, 2023. The place was as advertised and we had a very enjoyable stay. We were actually able to fit 3 trucks with trailers on the property! Would definitely recommend!

Great gathering space for lots of family

Property was great for housing 3 generations of family for our holiday getaway. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and good gathering space for us to be together, as well. Location was awesome - great access to Terry Peak, Lead and Deadwood. Thank you!

WEEKEND GETAWAY WITH FAMILY

THE PROPERTY WAS NICE AND LARGE FOR A CROWD. COULD USE SOME BETTER HOUSE CLEANING AND SOME MANTAINANCE DONE AROUND THE PROPERTY. IN ALL IT WAS A NICE PLACE TO STAY WITH EASY ACCESS TO THE HIGHWAY.

Great Pine Lodge

Overall the stay was amazing and I rate this a 5. The area of concern was the closeness to the main road as road noise from trucks or passing UTV's would cause a halt on conversation while on the deck. Nothing astronomical and we fully utilized the deck with no issues on noise inside the house. I highly recommend this property for families and pets.

Perfect weekend Getaway

The cabin is exactly what they say it is. It was a clean and beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for 3 couples, could have easily had more people. We loved the wood burning fireplace while we sat around on the main floor. You are close to the road but when you are inside you don't even notice it. It was a perfect weekend getaway and it would be great for a longer stay as well. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Perfect Getaway

Check in was a breeze - self check in. The home is located close to many outdoor activities. Terry Peak ski slope and snowmobile rentals. Also a short distance to Deadwood. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Bedrooms were cozy. Hot tub worked great. Only downfall was it could have been a little cleaner. Rugs needed to be washed and glasses in cupboards needed to be rerun through dishwasher. Over all a great place for a short getaway.

Disappointed

Nice place. Dirtiest and unorganized and lack of dish towels and dish cloths. No hand soap. Tampons on floor. Swim trunks in bathroom. Carpet not vacuumed well. Dog chews in bed and couch. Holes in towels. No hand soap. Broken drawers in refrigerator. Broken kitchen utinsels in drawer along with sharp knives and definitely hasn’t been cleaned out. Cork screw had a cork in it yet. Jet bathtub didn’t work and took an hour to fill up only to find it didn’t work. We had to clean ashes out of fireplace to use. No locks on patio doors. No sheets or bedding for futons. Blow up mattress had hole in it. Fake plants were filthy by stairs. Etc etc. with 15 people staying I asked for extra bedding and no sheets. Plus not even enough hand soap in dispenser to pump any soap in several bathrooms and not even half bottle of dish soap in the smallest bottle. Old pans that don’t sit flat on the flat top stove top. We haven’t been this disappointed in any of our VRBO ever! Very disappointing

Great Pines Resort

Wonderful property that easily accommodates 10 with room for more. Clean and comfortable with plenty of parking for trailers. Great location for access to the Black Hills.

Amazing getaway cabin!

We traveled here with a group of 7 and an infant, plus 2 dogs. The property was well taken care of and comfortable for everyone that stayed.

family reunion

We had 12 adults and 5 children, so we pushed the house to the max. We managed to accommodate 4 of the children on air mattresses, so it worked out. Otherwise, conveniently located, beautiful setting, very accommodating host. Only suggestion I would have is perhaps a deep cleaning is in order, some bug residue.

Highly Recommend!

The pictures inside are overall accurate. A sofa couch has been replaced with a futon which was fine for kids. We were surprised by the size of deck as it was larger than we thought it would be! A few things had not been cleaned in a while like the ceiling fans but overall very good shape and the kitchen was well stocked and grill was clean! We had a great time and we had 11 adults and 2 kids and it accommodated us great!
