Modern farmhouse living in wine country

Welcome to Walla Walla paradise!

When you walk through the doors of this modern farm house, you will instantly feel at home.

The living space is open, full of light and high ceilings. Hang out with your entire group, play a board game on the large coffee table in front of the fire, or prepare a snack and never miss a beat. Thanks to the open floor plan, everyone is included in the fun! If you find that you have to do a little work, enjoy the 1GB fiber internet connection.

Out the doors of the living area, you'll find an extended patio, bistro lights, fire pit and grill. This space is especially enjoyable in the crisp evenings of spring and fall.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are off the living space. On the first-floor wing, there are two bedrooms (1 queen bed in each bedroom), and one full bath. On the other side of the home, there is a half bath for guest to use.

Climbing upstairs you will find the primary bedroom (with a king-sized bed) and an en suite bathroom. Through the walk-in closet, there is a super special area hidden through a wardrobe - NARNIA!!! Enter through the wardrobe or climb the ladder from the hidden entrance on the first floor and get transported to a magical land.

Across the open lofted hallway to the other wing, there are two bedrooms (1 queen bed, and a twin sized bunk bed + twin bed) and a full bathroom (with a tub).

The home has plenty of room to have space to yourself or gather in a large group.

A beautiful, spacious home with a giant fenced in yard with luxurious green grass--perfect for our grandchildren to run around outside. Well stocked kitchen with lots of counter space and all the pots and pans you could ever need. Comfortable beds, modern clean bathrooms. We loved this house!

Melissa is an outstanding host and the property, especially the kitchen, is VERY well stocked with everything including the spices in their own drawer under the stove. The Narnia room was a hit with our grandchildren. Very quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes from downtown Walla Walla. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to other families.

Modern Farmhouse Fabulous!

OMG! What a lovely home and great location to Walla Walla and all the great wineries. Everything was superb, from the communication to the amenities and beautiful views and sunsets. I highly recommend staying here. Plenty of room to stay with multiple couples or a family. Thank you, Melissa and Scott, for welcoming us into your home!

Perfect home for our group!

We had family, friends and doggos together and this home was just perfect. The yard and fire pit were enjoyed by all. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook. It was an easy 10-15 minute drive to wineries and downtown, but gave us a true taste of easy living in Walla Walla!

Modern Farmhouse is THE perfect place!

We loved our stay at the Modern Farmhouse! We stayed with friends and the design of the home is perfect for togetherness and also privacy. The kitchen is well appointed and ready for home cooked meals, and the living room has vaulted ceilings making it a great place to spend time. We used the back patio and fire pit as we enjoyed sunsets. Each bedroom is inviting, spacious and designed slightly different to captivate your interest. Melissa was very communicative throughout the process and delivered at every turn. Typically with rental houses there is always something that doesn't quite deliver, but that is not the case with this home. I will be recommending this home to other friends that visit Walla Walla, and plan on coming back in the future.

Perfect VRBO for a Walla Walla Girls Weekend!

Beautiful home, perfect size. The home has everything you need, was clean and ready for our visit. Super simple check in and easiest check out of any VRBO I have stayed in. Our host was great, she responded quickly and let us know right away when we had left something behind. The views are amazing! We loved sitting by the wood burning firepit, they even provided the firewood. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone especially if you wanted to stay a little outside of town.

Perfect place!

9 people in town for a wedding, and everyone had everything they needed. Melissa is a great host. We should’ve booked an extra couple of days to enjoy it more.

Outstanding Property

Our group enjoyed the stay at Melissa's home immensely. To a person, each were impressed with the layout, amenities, thoughtfulness of the owners, and the outstanding views and location. If the opportunity arises, we will surely try and stay there again in the future.

Annual Cousin Trip

We just wrapped up our second annual "Walla Walla Wine Mixer" weekend with family, and this house does not disappoint! Full amenities, so clean, host is always available and friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for anyone to stay in!!

Easiest VRBO experienced I’ve ever had!

The host Melissa was amazing! She was always quick to respond to any questions and made the whole check in and check out experience a breeze. The house and backyard were amazing and we could really feel like we were at home while staying there. Couldn’t recommend more, especially for groups who have dogs obsessed with fetch like mine!

Wonderful weekend

We have stayed at this house a couple of years in a row. It's a great place to serve as home base for many friends gathering for the weekend. The host is excellent and makes it a very easy experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and peaceful

Shared this amazing house with a group of 8 (ages 3 to 65) and a couple of dogs. Additional family members joined us to celebrate mother/gma/great gma's 88th birthday dinner. Every room in the house is quiet, comfortable, nicely decorated and fully equipped with anything you might need. The covered back patio and enormous fenced back yard was perfect for keeping kids and pets contained. Plenty of room for lawn games and just roaming around to enjoy the spectacular views in every direction. Communication with the host was friendly and very timely. Zero complaints about anything! This was the best VRBO home experience myself and other family members have ever had. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful/peaceful getaway to the Walla Walla area.

Beautiful Property with lots of rooms

Stayed here for a girls weekend in Walla Walla. An absolutely stunning home. Melissa was quick to respond on any questions I had. This home was out side of Walla Walla but had a beautiful view of the Blue Mtns. Close to several wineries. All in all loved this home and will be back to visit.

Great House, Great Location

This is a wonderful house. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and a very well appointed kitchen. Very rural setting but you're no more than 10 to 15 minutes away from any of the wineries or the center of town. We would gladly return again.

Great House for Groups!!

We rented this for a weekend getaway and it exceeded expectations. I went to Whitman so have always tried to stay closer to campus when visiting, but this time around we had a large group and decided to stay a bit outside of town--turned out to be perfect, with a great outdoor space, plenty of privacy, and pretty easy access to town!

Girls weekend

The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean and well equipped. The setting is serene and the views are breathtaking. Melissa was wonderful to work with and quickly responded to my questions. Check in and check out was very easy. I highly recommend this beautiful property.

End to end amazing

The property is amazing. We all loved it so much from decor, the space and view, and cleanliness. Property owner was so quick to respond and graciously helped us with requests for local food ideas. So thankful to have had such a wonderful time and experience here.
