Many of our guests love this spacious home due to its comfort, amenities and outdoor access. 2 king size master bedrooms with jack and jill bathroom. The screened porch and covered patio are perfect for game nights and early morning coffee. There is a shared deck with kayaks and bikes-special bonus: the hostess offers kayaks and paddleboards right on the Crystal River to swim with the manatee free of charge! You'll love your stay. Relaxing and inviting. Sleeps 8 AND has option for more with 2 other homes nearby.

Spring break with family

Lovely spot by the quiet and beautiful Withlacoochie river. Comfortable beds, nice screened in porch, kayaks, and clean space. Great hosts who let us paddle to Three Sisters Springs using their kayaks and dock in Crystal River. The springs are really magical…

Great weekend stay

We came for a long weekend in January to see manatees. This place was a great, quiet location. We loved the big deck and spent one morning fishing from it. I also really appreciated the well equipped laundry room.

Peaceful stay on river

Enjoyed staying at this house on the river. House was exactly as advertised and communication with the host was fast and easy. House had so many extras - felt like staying at a friend's house. Very well stocked. First night we were the only ones there, so had all the outside space to ourselves.

Sweet little spot with a great laid back wild Florida outdoors atmosphere.

Great location right on the water kayaks easily accessible beautiful scenery, with free and easy access to the Three Sisters Springs, property manager was wonderful always answered text or emails sent before and while staying. Nice quiet spot in the back of the Woods with lots of privacy.

Beautiful area on the river

Perfect quiet getaway. The TV was odd... hard time getting out on and then couldn't turn it off. Access tpkayaks and fishing poles was nice though we didn't use them this trip.

Great location

This place is tucked away in its own little cove with two other apartments. The view is great and the property is well maintained. The owners were great and Kay even helped us with our first ever kayak experience. Bring bug spray….those little no-see-ums are no joke!! Would stay here again.

Trust me, rent it

We rented this property as a gift for my husband’s parents. Manatee get away. While there were no manatee sightings on the river behind the house. The crystal river 10 minutes away had sooo many!! The property itself was amazing! Definitely a perfect nature get away. Gorgeous views and had very friendly neighbors renting the tree house VRBO. Definitely recommend staying here, we had a blast!

Perfect location for all of the activities!

Our riverfront retreat was amazing! It had all of the amenities that we could need. We paddled around with the kayaks everyday around the area and saw manatees (right off the dock!!!), alligators, birds, and an albino squirrel. The house was clean and the porch and dock were perfect to relax on. Jacqui had wonderful restaurant recommendations around the area. The house was perfectly located to visit state parks and go on snorkel and clear bottom kayak tours.

Home away from home

Everything was way better then I thought it would be. Lots of activities so many that we will be booking this awesome home away from home again to fit them all in. Kayaking to three sisters was so great and was what made this trip over the top for me. The host responded so fast and even helped us get the kayaks in the water.

We will be back!

Peaceful setting on the Withlacoochee River, a perfect house. The hosts have thought of everything, from condiments to wood for the fireplace, coffee, games, great toiletries, extra blankets…I’m hard pressed to think of anything we didn’t find there. Friends joined us for dinner and stargazing on the deck. You can fish right off the dock or deck, plenty of space to sit and enjoy the birdsong. We had a great time. Tons to do in the area.

Worth the stay!!

Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay. We enjoyed playing board games that they had. Hosts were very responsive. our family loved the added benefit of having access to their kayaks and paddle boards in Crystal river on 3 sisters spring. We had an amazing day kayaking with the manatees. It was an easy kayak trip from their house to the manatees. We were also able to kayak to a restaurant named Crackers on the water and enjoyed a few drinks and great conversation with locals. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Relaxing retreat with plenty to do.

We stopped here on our way to Orlando. It couldn’t have been better! The property is 3 units and there is a shared outdoor space. The boys rode bikes in the morning and evening up and down the road. We took advantage of the kayaks and saw a couple gators swimming. As soon as we docked there was a pod of Manatees swimming right by and just set the bar for the rest of the trip! It was amazing to experience and see first hand. My son caught a couple catfish and Gar on the deck (they like shrimp fyi) there is a small grocery and bait and tackle right around the corner. Plenty of outdoor space and shared with great neighbors also visiting for the weekend! We will definitely be back!! There was not a real downside - just FYI there is a sulfur smell to the water in the unit but it is natural and they provide a water filter and plenty of cooking utensils and pots/pans/crockpot and instapot! Thanks Jacqui!

Blamed for damages

Overall a nice place, however we were blamed for “damages” and smoke odors and charged an extra 150$ for things beyond our control. Somehow we were blamed for strong marijuana odors in the house when no one in the party smokes. Missing pillow cases and a ripped sleeper sofa that we had no recollection of already being damaged. We left the Rental as instructed, stripped the beds of linens, blankets etc and even checked out by 8am after a light clean up on our behalf. I would try a different rental unless you want unforeseen charges that you were not involved in. FYI other people stay on this property. Don’t get blamed for someone else’s wrong doings.

Little piece of secluded paradise

Gorgeous setting! Would be a fantastic property to rent with a group of friends or family. With it being 3 different buildings there’s a chance of getting neighbors who you don’t blend with but it’s private enough that you can escape to your house and shut the world out! The deck area overlooking the river is just primo!! Fishing, kayaking, biking- these folks have really gone above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. They are great people and so welcoming and just a call away if you have issues or questions. We rent a lot of VRBO and AirBnB’s so this isn’t our first rodeo. A short (about 15 minute) car ride South to Crystal River and you’re there- but out a bit in a wooded and private area. It’s not frilly but it’s really charming. We stayed in the Retreat, and I just fell in love with the small, but perfect shower (I’m strange cause it’s nothing special- maybe it was the long ride there that made me crave it so much, who knows?). And a wonderful part of renting here is that they allow our fur doggies. So awesome! Make sure you pack your poopy pickup bags. There’s a common washer and dryer, 4 bikes for renting as well as kayaks right there on the lot for cruising down the River. We’d definitely return!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay...Mags fished but didn't catch anything To tell the truth she really isn't very good at it. If you are looking for a place to watch the river go by, peaceful and quite you'll love it here. Nice and clean and lots of room...Nice host's

Relaxing time on the river

We had a lovely quiet stay here. The house was very comfortable and the location was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed all of the birds and having access to paddle on the river right from the deck. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and being able to use their kayaks and SUP down in Crystal River as well was a huge bonus.

A Natural Get Away on the Nature Coast

We would definitely recommend this property to others. It was clean, quiet with loads of extras. Loved that the property included the use of bikes, kayaks and fishing poles. Also, the use of their main property kayaks to access Crystal River and the Three Sisters. The location is out of the way - yet within 15-20 minutes of loads of options - Crystal River, Homossasa and Rainbow Springs. You definitely feel it's a private paradise with the owls hooting from the private island to the extra bright stars in the evening.

Wow. Just WOW.

This property is everything advertised and more. The units are meticulously maintained and stocked, every detail thought of. We stayed a week and couldn't have been more comfortable. The beds are a slice of heaven and the WIFI and streaming TV were amazing (I worked remotely for 3 days and was concerned that the WIFI would be sketchy, but it was faster and more reliable than at home) The location on the river is private and peaceful with just enough boat traffic and plenty of wildlife to keep it interesting. We actually saw alligators, turtles, loads of fish and even several dolphins and manatees right from our deck! We HIGHLY recommend these hosts and properties and hope to return for our next getaway.
