Where we salt margaritas, not sidewalks!

KAYAK with the dolphins and manatees! Welcome to paradise and your own mini resort tropical oasis. Centrally located in the Tampa Bay Area, you are in the perfect location for all things Florida. Lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home canal front home is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation decorated in a tropical coastal vibe. The home features separate living and dining areas and a family room with a fireplace. There are Roku TV's in the family room, two bedrooms and one on the lanai so you can watch the big game while floating in the HEATED pool! The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances and also overlooks the pool and out to the water. Or you can cook out on the gas grill. Out by the pool on the screened lanai are several more sitting areas, perfect for a morning cup of coffee or evening libations around the fire pit. You will also have plenty of options for "game night" as there is a pool table, corn hole, dart board, foosball and numerous board games.

While enjoying the sunshine, we have 4 kayaks for your use. 3 are single riders and 1 is a tandem style. There are pool floats a plenty. There are fishing poles and a basic tackle box if you want to try and catch dinner and if you fancy a bike ride down to the public beach, there are bikes in the garage along with beach chairs and some beach toys.

Want to bring your boat? We have a 10,000 lift and room to park your trailer. Currently the boat lift cover is gone from Hurricane Helene but we are going to replace.

The Keurig coffee maker is both a "pod" and a "pot" style.
If you are staying longer than 7 days we are happy to arrange for a cleaning service for an additional fee.

The Perfect Getaway!

Amazing Apollo Beach Vacation

This was our second time spending a month-long winter getaway at this property. Everything was just as promised and did not disappoint. The house is very comfortable and well-appointed (and lovingly decorated) with everything you could possibly need or want. Barbara and Dan are excellent hosts, and are quick to respond to any questions. The location in a quiet neighbourhood on the water is perfect, and the huge screened lanai and pool area is an amazing space. During our daily kayak outings we saw dolphins and manatees, and even had dolphins visit us at the dock a couple of times. Our family pup was made to feel welcome and loved the pool area and fenced backyard.

Perfect

We stayed during the holidays and the house was decorated with Christmas decorations. Everything is available in the house and we had a fantastic time. Nice restaurant and bars nearby, you can fish on the dock and rent a boat locally. Definitely recommended!

Medical rehab

Great place to relax. We were going to medical recuperation at Tampa General several times a week The owners made sure everything was extra clean. We would rent again,if available.

This home was just as listed. The kitchen was this best stocked of any home we have stayed in. It had everything you would need. This was just the restful week we needed.

Perfect Getaway!

This was our first time renting a property in this area. No doubt that we will rent this home again. Barbara was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly when we had questions. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. The home was very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook meals. The outdoor area was very nice. Loved the screened in patio area with the pool. All sorts of activities for families to enjoy. The attention to detail to make our stay enjoyable was very much appreciated. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Nice pleasant stay

House was clean and exactly as presented. Super hot in August, even the pool was quite hot. We were centrally located between Tampa, Clearwater, Anna Maria, and Siesta Key. Expect to drive 45min-1hour to any of those places. Nice to have access to chairs and coolers to use on beach trips. Very good selection of restaurants and bars close by. Neighborhood is super quiet and nice.

Not Happy

Needs cleaning service throughout Pool was dirty, Grill with cooked meat from previous guest, Linens dirty, mattress soiled and more Overall upkeep Lounge chair dry rotted, bed frame bent and uneven, master bed headboard not attached, sliding glass door closure broken and so much more . We spent a lot of time cleaning and making it more comfortable We left a day early and are apprehensive going forward with a vrbo property

July 4th family trip

Properly was excellent Barbara and Dan were very responsive. Perfect for our family vacation. Saw manatee from the dock, followed us in kayaks. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

Great Experience

The property was nice and clean. Great location to the bay for fishing and nice restaurants. The host (Barbara) was fantastic. We had a few issues not related to the property, just lack of experience (boat lift) and the heated pool so I messaged Barbara and she messaged me back within minutes. We had a great experience and will most likely be staying in this house again.

Spectacular

Our family had such a wonderful time and Barbara was most accommodating! We all enjoyed the view and the kids were in such awe of the dolphins, rays and other fish we watched swim by. If you are looking for somewhere to fully enjoy all Florida has to offer, whether it is just relaxing by the pool, or visiting the surrounding community, I highly recommend this property. Everything you could ask for…

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners have provided for nearly every accommodation you could ask for. I from outdoor games and dock and poolside activities, to the well-stocked bathrooms, and chefs kitchen and coffee bar. We hope to come back again, but this time with our boat.

VERY NICE, YET COMFORTABLE!!

Very clean first impression! Interior very well appointed & clean! House provided everything to enjoy the property as a vacation home, including pool, outdoor games, grill & canal access with kayaks! Fabulous Florida Vacation Home

This beautiful home was everything that was promised and then some. It is located on the water in a quiet, friendly residential neighbourhood, just a short drive to all that Apollo Beach has to offer. It features a heated pool surrounded by a lanai that offers sun and shade throughout the day. The house is well maintained, very clean, and equipped with everything guests would need for a stay of any length. Just imagine sitting on your own dock or taking a kayak for a paddle and watching dolphins and manatees swim by.

Home is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing by the pool and on the channel. Kayaks are definitely an added bonus! Home has all you will need for a wonderful time in Florida.

Dan and Barbara share two beautiful daughters, Meagan and Samantha, and four dogs. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with family, travel, and a typical Florida lifestyle of beaches, boating, and theme parks.

Living near the water is just not enough. We wanted a place on the water, with easy access to all the things we love. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to allow others to experience our world, even if it's only for a short while.

The home situated on a deep saltwater canal is a short 10 mins from the bay, and Busch Gardens is an easy day trip! Disney is about an hour and a half away, as are the amazing beaches of Clearwater, St. Pete Beach, and Anna Maria! We offer all sorts of activities to entertain the whole family.
