The Great Escape | Gas Grill, Hot Tub, Fireplace!

The Great Escape is a three-bedroom cabin in the heart of the historic Upper Canyon neighborhood. This elegant mountain home combines lots of charm with well-appointed design features such as sleek appliances, modern furniture, and a comfortable dining set.

Outdoors, guests will find a covered front porch, a table with chairs, and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy yourself. A great corner deck offers a hot tub situated right among the pine trees.

The location of The Great Escape cabin is hard to beat, just minutes from the shopping and restaurants of Midtown Ruidoso but secluded enough and tucked away into Upper Canyon to provide privacy, peace, and quiet.

Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home. Maximum 2 vehicles.

The cabin is as perfect for our family of 10 at Christmas time! The pool table and hot tub really added to the experience and the kitchen was stocked with the most appliances and dishes of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. It was close to town and in a cute neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

Great escape is right!

We enjoyed the balcony, grill, hot tub, and spacious areas in the home. We had friends and family join us for a relaxing birthday celebration and this home was Perfect!

Very Nice Property

It is a really nice place to stay. The master bathroom is amazing! While sitting in the hot tub or on the front porch and patio area, there was a lot of beautiful wildlife. We had a relaxing, enjoyable time.

Nice place.

We enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable. We had all the cooking equipment we could need. Wonderful location. We would stay again. Only issue was the basement was a little chilly.

Family Get-A-Way

Our Daughter and her partner came visit from South Louisiana so we brought them to one of our favorite spots. Had a Blast The cabin was Beautiful and Very Comfortable. We enjoyed it . Thanks for sharing your Home.

Friendly neighborhood

I was not happy with communication. I was concerned about the fire. I sent a message through vrbo. Never got a reaponse that wasnt auto populated from a computer. I finally called the day before. The person was friendly. But the communication wasexexistent from the app. . Mold on the ceiling. No extra blankets. The pool table is broken. Too close to the wall to play arpund the table. It was just ok.
