We had an excellent two-week stay at this property in Enghien-les-Bains. We were 3 adults and 2 children (ages 9 and 11) on vacation, and this was a fantastic home base for exploring Paris and the surrounding area.Gilbert was very kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after traveling with children. The location is one of the biggest highlights. Although most of our activities were in central Paris, getting there by train was incredibly easy. The station is only about 3 blocks from the house, and tickets were just a little over 2 each way. We even took the train to Disneyland Paris and the Palace of Versailles, our furthest excursions.Enghien-les-Bains itself is a beautiful and charming town, with restaurants, supermarkets, and everything we needed within walking distance. We especially enjoyed walking around the nearby lake, where we saw many locals running, walking, and doing yoga, particularly in the mornings and late afternoons.I don't speak French, but we had no trouble communicating. Most people we encountered spoke English and were very friendly and helpful.I originally planned to rent a car for a day or two, but we quickly realized it wasn't necessary. There was so much to do nearby, and public transportation made getting around very easy.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
