Paris get away

Charming place to stay to relax after a hectic day in & around Paris. Easy for the RER with great variety of shops and restaurants nearby for an authentic taste of France away from the crowds of the tourist centres.

Very comfortable house with practical garage

We very much enjoyed the house, garden and garage. Public transport is closeby, within 30 minutes from central Paris.

Beautiful home and location

Highly recommend. This beautiful home is located in a gorgeous suburb of Paris and very close to the train station for day visits to the attractions of Paris.

Wonderful stay in a charming home with spacious garden, plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms, lots of room to spread out. Thoroughly enjoyed the garden.

Fantastic stay

We rent houses in this area more often, this was our second stay in Mme Janin’s house. We’ve had a very pleasant stay. The RER is very close, the house is spacious and comfortable and it has a fantastic garden. Mme Janin is very kind. We hope to come again🙂

It is a charming house in a quite and nice neighbourhood. The host was very friendly and welcomed us warmly.We had wonderful time roaming around the area as well. In 500m, there is train station which takes you to centre of Paris and all its attractions. There are some nice bakery too, with very friendly people.

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our second stay in Bernadette's home in the past 14 months. She did some remodeling to the home and it feels much brighter now. The home is spacious for our family with two growing teens and the neighborhood is so convenient and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

Peaceful neighborhood!

Large house in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood right outside of Paris. There is plenty of room for an entire family and easy access to shopping and public transportation. Bernadette is sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend her home to all families!

Exceeded Expectations

My wife, two kids 12 and 13 and mother in law spent 10 days at this house. It was the perfect setup for our trip in every way. The home had everything we needed. The location was ideal. The neighborhood was great. Bernadette was a fantastic host. It really was perfect.

So charming you’ll want to move it!

Spacious home in a picturesque part of Paris. Small town feel, but close enough to all the sights of Paris. Explore the little town and bakery. Walk or run by the river. Great little park for kids to stretch their legs. Owners are charming! It’s just perfect. We will be back to this VRBO as soon as we can book another trip!

Great spacious accommodation with easy access to Paris

This is a bright and spacious house with lovely furniture in a quiet tree-lined residential road, very close to a RER station with frequent, inexpensive trains to Paris, and a large 24h supermarket next to the RER station. There is an excellent bakery very close, and there are local restaurants nearby. The owner Bernadette welcomed us when we arrived at the house, explained everything about keys, heating etc, and was easily contactable thereafter. We loved staying here and hope we will be able to return at some point in the future.

A great home base for a Parisian Adventure

To start off, what a fantastic host! She was more than accommodating with us as we had troubles with our rental car and our flight came in late. She had a great book with advice on how to travel in the city and food recommendations. The home was located near a metro station so made for easy travel to Paris and back with little to no help needed. The home was clean and comfortable, we all slept great and felt refreshed. I'd highlg recommend it to families or groups of freinds looking for a safe and happy home!

Lovely home for family vacation

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. It was well furnished with everything we needed for our family of five. My husband and I, our two teenage sons and my brother in law were so happy to be in a house with some space after staying in apartments in other cities where we were in close quarters. The host, Bernadette, is so kind. She had very helpful suggestions and advice for our stay. She was patient and accommodating when our flight was changed causing us to arrive much later than expected. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and the home is just a short walk from a market, restaurants and the train station. Our only complaint is that our stay was so short. We hope to come back again one day, and we would happily stay in this house again.

Amazing house

We were a family of four adults and a teenager sharing this house. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house is located very close to the RER A line. Although we had a car, we utilized the RER to go in and out of Paris, just a 20-30 minute ride. Restaurants and grocery stores are located very close as well. Bernadette was extremely helpful. She not only provided very useful information when we arrived, she also had a book prepared of important information, maps, local attractions, and even the history of the area. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to see Paris.

Phenomenal location and home

Everything was excellent. The host met us on check-in and explained everything. Everything was neat and clean. We even received maps and suggestions to places.The house is well decorated and provides aa Parisian feel. There is a major grocery store about a 5 min walk. It had all we needed. The kitchen had all utensils and pots and pans for cooking. Because we travelled with 2 elderly people, we had wheelchairs delivered to the house. It was a very easy process. We took an Uber van (there was 6 of us) to the center of Paris almost daily. It was cheaper than public transportation. However, there is a train station around the corner. In the neighborhood there are also very nice shops. We were able to get perfume and gifts at very reasonable prices. There was also cute coffee shops and a brassiere close by. In all, it was an amazing week and excellent location.

Lovely House with Easy Access to Paris

This is a lovely house, big, comfortable, stylish and very French. There is off-street parking for a large car in a secure garage. The garden is a pleasant place to sit in the evenings. We were so pleased with the location. The suburb is quiet and safe. There's a very big supermarket (Intermarche) just 8 minutes' walk away, and a fabulous boulangerie (La Chaumette) just 3 minutes away. The RER train into the centre of Paris is fast, regular and good value. We bought Paris Visite cards which allowed us to go anywhere in Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the transport network. (The house is in Zone 3). Usually we got off at Chatelet-Les Halles, which is convenient for many sights in central Paris. It takes 20 to 25 minutes and we were always able to get a seat. The French trains are much better than in the UK! Bernadette was a great host, very welcoming and patient with our late arrival. If we visit Paris again as a family we would definitely want to stay here. Highly recommended.

La maison est très charmante, au calme et à proximité du RER A et des commerces du centre ville de La Varenne.La cuisine est très bien équipée et les chambres confortables. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Bernadette qui nous attendait à notre arrivée ainsi que les décorations de Noël pour se mettre dans l'ambiance.

We zijn hier al regelmatig geweest en vinden het een tophuis. Ruimte en rust, maar vlakbij de RER zodat we makkelijk naar Parijs kunnen.
