The only concern we had was there was extensive work being done at the property and we were not notified ahead of time that this would be happening. So it did put a damper on pool time and time on the veranda.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. I am sorry the construction work affected your pool time and use of the veranda, and that you were not informed in advance. Your comments are very helpful, and we will review our communication and scheduling to prevent this in the future.

Property was clean and constantly maintained by very nice staff. Gorgeous beach. The room is in an older building that looks like it was built in the 80’s. Smaller than expected but clean.

Everything was perfect as advertised. It took a little while to get the correct pool gate code, but the on site maintenance staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely do it again.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize that the level of detailed cleaning did not meet your expectations, as this is not the standard we strive to uphold at Southern Vacation Rentals. We understand how important cleanliness is to a comfortable stay. Upon review we do not show that the issue was reported to our 24/7 Guest Services Team during your stay. Had we been made aware, our local Operations Team would have been notified for prompt resolution. Your feedback has been shared with our Operations Team for review and resolution. Your feedback is invaluable as this helps to enhance the guest experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more seamless stay on the Gulf Coast.

The location was amazing. I had an issue with the code to the beach, but management got me squared away within a few minutes of me contacting them! My only concern was the lock on the door. It was hard to get the deadbolt to lock, and it was not easy to tell if the door was locked when inside. My only other recommendation would be to have a throw blanket in the room. Would be a nice touch!

Right on Beach

Overall was a nice little studio to stay in. Clean. Room was clean and ready early. Nothing was set up as far as a parking pass and there’s no guarantee parking on site. That should be specified when looking for properties that you are looking to park at. We had to park across the Main Street in Panama several times. Location was great. Right on beach. Staff very friendly.

The place is older, we really enjoyed the stay for the convenience of getting to the beach. The only issues that we had were the keypad entry for our room didn't work half the time. I contacted them and told them the batteries were going dead. ( I work in maintenance at home). Maintain never showed up, so I bought batteries and changed myself. The other thing was the code they gave me to get to the beach didn't work. Locals that live there gave me a code and said that one changed years ago. Very friendly town and atmosphere.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beach access and the atmosphere in the area. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the door lock and the beach gate code. Our records show the Property Manager inspected the lock the following day and resolved the issue. We also see where you called to report the gate code concern. We regret any miscommunication surrounding these matters and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We value your feedback and hope to welcome you back for an even smoother experience in the future.

Girls trip

The booking process was easy. The condo was gorgeous. Check-In was at 4 and our room was ready at 4:00. However, the code provided for the pool and beach access was incorrect and there was no code provided for the laundry room. There were no beach towels which was fine because we brought our own but the listing said they would have some. Parking was very limited. They only provide one roll of toilet paper and one trash bag so you better bring some extra. The ground keeper was very nice and informative. The condo manager was not polite or helpful. But we met many residents who were extremely nice. Very helpful. Our stay was wonderful.

Cute/Great for our short stay

3 women stayed for a short girls trip. When we walked in, the unit was cute and clean. We had everything we needed. It could use a full length mirror where the decorative mirror is next to the table though. We fixed our breakfast and lunch in the unit and went out for dinner each night. There is a restaurant just a short walk from the unit that had good food and great dessert. That saved us from getting in the traffic at night and possibly not having a parking spot. I wasn’t thrilled to pay a $75 parking fee and not even be guaranteed a parking place at the unit. One night we had to park across the street but it was doable. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again.
