We had a fabulous vacation while staying in this beautiful Glen Lake cottage. We had 4 teenagers all staying in the second bedroom with bunkbeds and it worked great. They all had plenty of space and storage. We spent many hours on the deck, the comfortable furniture and large table were awesome. We have stayed in many cottages on Glen Lake over the years and this was the first where the water was drinkable and the toilet/septic didn't have issues. What a treat! This cottage also had amazing views and sunsets. We swam, tubed, skied, hiked, played games, and went for dozens of boat rides back and forth between Big Glen and Little Glen. It was perfect.

Up North Getaway

Very clean and smartly designed house. The view of the lake was incredible! My family was able to enjoy relaxing time at the house and on the lake, and it was close enough to Sleeping Bear Dunes as well as restaurants and shops.

Midwest Paradise

Wonderful place. Fit our family of 5 perfect. Warm shallow water of Glen Lake was great for the kids. Excellent location as well. Under 10minute drive to the beach, Sleeping Bear Dunes and downtown Glen Arbor. Highly recommend this property. We will definitely try and come back to this hidden gem!

Best Possible View!

The cottage is exactly as pictured & described. The view is superb, and with the lake-facing wall being all glass, the view never ends. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and organized, it’s so easy to get right into relaxation

Little Glen Gem

The pictures of this house and lake don't do it justice - so much nicer in person! Everything was perfect - you can tell a lot of care has been put into this house. Great area with many things to do (national park, restaurants, shopping) within a short drive. Loved paddleboarding on the lake and having breakfast and dinner on the patio. Was pleasantly surprised that bugs were not an issue at all and the weather was pretty perfect! Will definitely be back.

Perfection

Beautiful setting on Little Glen Lake. Great house for a small family. The place is extremely clean and well stocked. Deck and stairs to dock are great. Kayaks and paddle boards were lots of fun. For some reason I thought it was a “beach” type yard, but there was no sand to play in there. However plenty of sand at the dunes and Lake Michigan. Owner was very responsive.

Great Lakefront Stay!

We had a great time at this property, as a family of four and our first time renting in this area. Very close Sleeping Bear and Glen Arbor, and the location on the lake made it so that we didn't even need to leave on some days! House was very clean and really well-equipped. The house had high-end appliances and well stocked kitchen with quality items which made it easy to cook. View can't be beat inside or outside and the kids loved playing in the warmer/shallow waters of the lake. Excellent owner communication. Definitely recommend and will be looking to book for future vacations!

Our stay at this listing was great. The house has been remodeled relatively recently, so everything is exceptionally nice, clean, modern and comfortable. I believe that this property is not just strictly a rental property, but rather the owner's personal property that they happen to occasionally rent if they don't plan to be there themselves...and it shows in the quality of the features of the home; from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedrooms, everything was exceptional...you could tell that the owner cares about the property. The westward views of sunsets across Little Glen Lake, looking over the Sleeping Bear Dunes main public dune (about 2 miles line of sight), and the eastward views of sunrises, looking across Little Glen Lake are fantastic! The deck has ample seating, with both deck chairs, and an outdoor table, where were enjoyed numerouse meals during our stay. There is stair step access from the dock to the lake in knee deep water. There is also a mooring anchor and buoy a short distance (50'?) from the dock, in about 2' of water, to tie off a boat if you bring one.The only negative that I can think of is that parking with a boat trailer, even a small one, is quite difficult as there is a fence that limits the entry to the parking area, thus making it a real challenge to back a trailer onto the property. This property was just phenomenal for our stay, and my family is already talking about wanting to come back next year!
