Welcome to Le Bon Vivant, my beautiful charming and comfortable cottage in the Dordogne / Perigord Noir in the municipality of Les Eyzies!

With the charm of an old stone cottage but the comfort of modern equipment, this house is your perfect home for a relaxing holiday in the Dordogne. With a modern fully equipped kitchen, recently modernised bathroom, 3 bedrooms offering a spot to maximum 6 persons, a private outdoor swimming pool and a very large garden overseeing the small hamlet, this cottage offers everything you need to feel straight at home.

Location-wise, the cottage is just a 5-min drive away from the town center of Les Eyzies, which not only receives 1 million visitors a year for its prehistoric museum and caves, but also offers you all first-need shops (bakery, small supermarket, gas station, wine shop, many bars and restaurants, post office, tourism office, etc). Major cities such as Sarlat (25mins), Perigueux (35mins), Bergerac (50mins) and the heart of the Dordogne valley (30mins) are all just a short drive away. With its castles, prehistoric remains, amazing food and wine but also opportunity for outdoor activities such as canoeing, hiking and biking, the region has much to offer for a perfect holiday!

Sehr schönes Haus, leider nicht ganz ruhig gelegen

Das Haus ist sehr schön und vor allem im Erdgeschoss mit Geschmack und Liebe eingerichtet. Wir schlafen immer mit offenem Fenster, weshalb die D47 leider morgens schon recht früh störte. Der Zugverkehr hingegen ist sehr gering und auch überhaupt nicht störend. Toller und freundlicher Empfang von Fabrice!

La maison est très agréable. La proximité du gérant et la gentillesse du propriétaire sont très appréciables. Le seul point négatif nous concernant est la l'ouverture du jardin sur la route pour la sécurité de notre chien. La maison est très bien équipée avec une très belle cuisine. La décoration est soignée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le préau nous protegeant du soleil et la piscine.

Sehr charmantes typisches Perigord Haus mit tollem Garten und Pool

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in einem sehr schönen und geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung sowohl in der Küche als auch im Rest des Hauses ist umfassend. Alles wie beschrieben und es fehlte an nichts. Wir haben den großzügigen Privat-Pool sehr genossen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der riesige sehr schöne Garten mit großen Rasenflächen und vielen Bäumen. Da gibt es schattige Plätzchen oder auch genug Platz zum Ballspielen. Dass sich der heutige Besitzer auf den ersten Blick in das Grundstück mit dem Haus verliebt hat, können wir gut nachvollziehen. Last but not least ist die Umgebung zu nennen. Im Umkreis von ca. 30 Autominuten gibt es eine Vielzahl von Sehenwürdigkeiten und interessante Dinge zu entdecken. 2 Wochen Aufenthalt sind nicht annähernd ausreichend, um alles zu sehen.

Très déçu

Mauvais fonctionnement de la piscine.obligé de la nettoyer avant et pendant pour pouvoir ce baigner les skimeur était HS donc pas de filtration en surface.Table de jardin cassé impossible de s’asseoir sur les chaises tellement qu’il était séché par le soleil

Très bonne situation pour les sites à visiter. Toutefois qui a les inconvénients de ses qualités : routes bruyantes très proches de l habitation.

Wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Region

Das Haus liegt sehr zentral zur Erkundung einer Vielzahl von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Städt, Höhlen, Schlösser, Weingüter u.v.a. Und nach erschöpfter Rückkehr die erfrischende Kühle des großen Gartens mit altem Baumbestand, die Terasse, der Pool. Kühl auch das alte, mit viel Liebe restaurierte Haus, großzügig mit moderner Aussstattung und Technik bestückt. Wir waren beeindruckt bis begeistert, nur schade, daß wir mit dem Super-Großbild-TV nicht umgehen und keine deutschen Programme empfangen konnten.

Top vakantiehuis!

We hebben een geweldige week gehad in dit vakantiehuis in Manaurie. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep zeer vlot, vriendelijk en duidelijk. Het vakantiehuis zelf is heel charmant en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden waren prima en het hele huis was brandschoon. De ontvangst ter plaatse was ook hartelijk en goed georganiseerd. Wij waardeerden vooral de enorme tuin met het zwembad waar we in alle privacy van hebben genoten. En verder is de hele omgeving natuurlijk fantastisch: vol cultuur en natuur Kortom: wij komen hier zeker terug!
