Tiki Island is a small island community situated 45 minutes from downtown Houston and minutes from Galveston. It's located off of I-45 right before the Galveston Causeway on West Galveston bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. This community is 50% full-time residents and 50% second home owners who enjoy boating, fishing, touring their island on golf carts and enjoying the relaxing sunsets with friends and family.
This house has an enclosed elevator, extremely large/modern kitchen, fully equipped with coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and a fully stocked pantry with spices, canned goods and paper supplies. The adjacent dining area seats 6 with water views. The large living room (with a propane fireplace) incorporates a comfortable queen hide-a-bed for overnight visitors.. The huge primary bedroom incorporates a California king size bed and plenty of extra room for an air mattress or crib for the little ones. The primary bedroom has a two-sided gas fireplace shared with the bathroom for cool island nights.
The secondary bedroom is a complete media room/office great for watching movies (or gaming) in the movie-style recliner chairs. It can be set up additionally with a queen bed as well.
The outside space is more than plentiful with upstairs and downstairs decks and boat docks, outside bar, chairs/tables, sandy beach with Adirondack chairs, a propane fire-pit, and even a hammock and outdoor shower
"Toys" are included with your rental - golf cart, stand-up paddle board, fishing rods and supplies. Have a boat and/or jetski? Bring them; there's plenty room to dock them. including a drive-on floating jetski/kayak dock and a boat lift.
