Located in Underhill, Vermont and nestled at the base of Mt. Mansfield and situated in a quiet and rural setting, enjoy the sounds of the Browns River and neighboring Clay Brook from the solitude of your porch. While still having the feel of a camp, enjoy the conveniences of a modern home. Just a 2-minute drive to backcountry skiing, hiking trails and mountain biking; 20 minutes to skiing at Smugglers Notch; 35 minutes to Burlington and the shore of Lake Champlain. This property shares a driveway with a separate garage apartment.

It met our expectations for activities. We enjoyed our stay and are considering returning. We all especially appreciated the sounds of the water rushing over rocks. Until the frost came we ate our breakfasts on the porch to the music of the Creek.

We didn't realize there was a nice rocky creek running right in front of this property, which was both beautiful to see, but also so nice to listen to at night. Really lovely location with a nice hike up the road.

Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed sitting out at night on the screened in porch while it rained outside. Then fell asleep at night with the sound of a babbling brook on two sides of the property! We even got a double rainbow directly over Mt. Mansfield. Great place to be away from it all.

Our hosts were very responsive before our visit and worked to get the place ready for us early. Unfortunately we had a family emergency and never got there. We hope to get there sometime in the future.

Absolutely perfect!

Myself, my 5 year old and my 7 year old stayed here for a super quick weekend of Harvest Market in Underhill. It was a perfect location for us. The creek just outside provided an amazing backdrop for an impromptu photo session. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil or pan you could need and the dishwasher was an unexpected but very welcome surprise. My kids were so excited about this house that they keep asking when we can come back! We will definitely be looking into renting here again!

Loved it

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. My family stayed here over a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The house was clean and had everything we needed, including in the kitchen which is not always the case with a rental. We fell asleep to the sound of the small river and creek alongside the house and spent time reading on the porch. The road that the house is on leads to a bunch of great trails on Mt. Mansfield and it’s a quick trip to stores.
