Not a bad price for the stay

We came to see our son (who is in the army) daughter-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. It was a very spacious house for just the two of us and our dogs and the price was nice. The area was close to the base and close to our family.

Nightmare from Owner and VRBO BEWARE!!!

We could not stay at this property because is should be condemned. We immediately call Vrbo and the owner sent pictures and told them that we had traveled miles away and could not stay however, neither resolved the issue. We had to pay additional money to find a place for me, my husband and son. The app will only allow me to put a few pictures but believe me you Do NOT want to rent this property. They have several complaints and Vrbo will not take them off. If we did not have the money to pay for another place we would have driven 7.5 hr back home. BE WARE

Quick trip for my Sons Military Graduation

Previous guests destroyed a bunch in the house. Owner was very quick to respond to the concerns. House needs work but it does the job for what we needed.

This home

It was a wonderful place to stay just need a little fixing with somethings but it’s a great space for some friends get together. Or just a relaxing place to stay. Neighborhood is very quiet, nice neighbors.

Convenient baseball weekend stay

We were in town for baseball & it was a good price & location for not spending time there. Check in was easy & plenty of space. It was a bit worn & beds were cheap & quite uncomfortable. There were many places on walls that were patched up & needed a good deep clean. The back door looked like someone had tried to break in. It did look like they were in the process of fixing it up though. If you need a larger place to sleep at night this was fine. If you want something a little luxurious this was not it.

Cozy neighborhood

Overall the house has potential. The blinds need to be replaced and the furniture needs updated, the back yard could use some landscaping and a good mow, and the walls need to be repainted. Even with those few flaws, I would stay again. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the neighbors were nice.

Large house on the hill

We had ample space for hanging out and sleeping. Two and half baths comes in super handy also. We were close to base, which is what we needed while in town. Dustin was very responsive to anything we needed.

Needs a lot of work

The house is very roomy, but it looked like it was from the 1950's. If you like camping, this may be ideal for you; but if you are used to 3 star hotels you would be very dissatisfied. The price is good for a tight budget but it is like staying at an old country motel.

Not the best I stayed in

Had to clean the kitchen before using it. Found several large roaches. Couch was broke. And many of the dining room chairs. The door in the laundry room looks like it is rotting out and you can see light through the wood. And the other doors you have to fight with to shut and lock. Big enough space, beds were comfortable and showers were hot. We cleaned up the backyard with a lot of branches. Still have the bigger parts of the limbs that fell down on the hill.

Terrible

Home smells of mold and mildew. Very dirty. Back yard looks like a jungle. Patio Furniture dirty and falling apart. Broken chairs. No blankets. Had to buy Furniture covers. Everything i brought home smelled of mold and mildew.

One week stay

Three bathrooms, one downstairs had no toilet seat toilet seat laid on the floor broken, Master bedroom shower, major leak through the floor into the living room, requiring a basin. Thank you box of powdered cream OK in the cupboard full of bugs. We just left the cream. We did not complain. Backyard has not been mowed or cleaned since last year by the looks grill was so dirty was not usable without a lot of work when we got home we were informed we were being charged $300 for bedbugs. We have our home sprayed regularly we did not bring bedbugs, very unhappy would not stay there again.

I would never stay here again

When I drove up to the property it was obvious that it was lacking maintenance. The front stoop was rotting. There was no additional key in the kitchen as per check in instructions. Inside was extremely dirty and maintenance issues continued. The two doors on the back of the house were rotting and the door to the deck didn’t close properly. The other door I didn’t even try once I saw it from the outside. It was completely rotten. The kitchen was dirty and I had to wash everything before I used it as I don’t know what it was sitting in. The house had not been cleaned or vacuumed in weeks. The downstairs bathroom seat broke. The master bathroom had hair on the counter. There were spindles missing from both the stairs inside and the deck outside making it not safe for children. The intake vent in the hallway had only one screw holding it in and when brushing against it, it fell off. Also hazardous. Outside the decking ended before the stairs leaving a trip hazard.

POOR CLEANING/ ROACHES

Dear VRBO, I am writing to express my disappointment with the condition of the property I rented for my daughter's wedding . Despite paying a cleaning fee, the property was not in the state advertised on your website. The photos displayed on the listing did not accurately represent the state of the property, both inside and outside. I have photos for your reference, if need, just don't know how to upload them. The exterior of the property was in disarray. The yard was overgrown with unmowed grass, multiple tree limbs were down in the driveway and yard, and an old couch was left in the backyard. The lights were hanging from wires, and parts of the molding and home were rotting and falling away. This did not give us the impression of a well-maintained property. Upon entering the property, we were greeted with an even more unpleasant sight. The carpets had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time, and we even found someone else's hair extension on the floor. The kitchen had various signs of roach droppings, and we saw not one, but three roaches. There was trash left in one of the bedrooms, wet towels were left in the dryer, and the dishwasher was full of dishes. The odor in the house was a noticeable one, which we believe was due to some sort of pesticide smell. The cleaning fee we paid did not seem to cover the dusty and dirty parts of the home. We reached out to the owner regarding the laundry and limbs in the yard but received no response, which was disappointing. The property's condition was unacceptable, making our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. We paid for a rental that did not meet the standards that were promised to us. The property was in disrepair, with broken tiles in the kitchen, chairs eaten away by some small animal, and the garage being unusable. We trusted VRBO for this rental experience; it was our first time using this type of accommodation instead of a hotel. However, based on this experience, we may have to return to hotels due to how severe the disappointment was. I kindly request a reimbursement for the rental, as it did not meet the advertised standards not to mention this was not a sanitary place for someone to stay. Thank you for your attention.

Gross!

This house was poorly maintained and filthy! The furniture is falling apart and uncomfortable. There is stains on the ceiling and walls. The floors are stained and gross. The beds were okay. The rugs in the bathroom look as if they are never washed and I was disgusted that my kids had to step on them getting out of bath. The refrigerator was sticky, there was old food behind the couch covered in ants, and gum on some art in the living room with hair on it. We let the owner know and sent pictures, but he never responded or try to rectify the situation. I would never recommend someone stay here.

Location is perfect

Stayed with a group to run the Fayetteville Spartan. This house was close to everything we needed. Dustin was a great host and the house was perfect for what we needed. 11 smiling faces.
