The Blue Heron Retreat sits on Lake Erie with direct beach and park access. It is located in Ohio’s north coast gateway to Cedar Point Amusement Park (8 miles west), the Lake Erie islands (8 miles west to the Jet Express dock), Cedar Point Sports Force (4 miles west), Kalahari Resort (6 miles south) and is conveniently located equal distance between Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio.

All bedrooms are located on the second floor. There is one primary bedroom (double sinks and glass enclosed shower). One bathroom with shower on the first floor and an additional full bathroom with a tub/shower upstairs.

The driveway can fit 8 vehicles and can easily accommodate a boat trailer and vehicle.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent and incredibly helpful when we needed to make changes to our reservation. Communication was quick and friendly throughout the entire process.The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of our favorite features was the beautiful park-like setting. The playground equipment was perfect for the kids, and the fire pit made for relaxing evenings outdoors.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, family-friendly getaway with a fantastic host!

This was an excellent house for a family. The Kitchen was fully stocked, the eating and living space was very large and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The lake views and being right across the street from the park was a plus. The house was very clean. We had a wonderful stay.

Lake House

Excellent location close to theme parks but out of the traffic of Sandusky. Having the playground, park and lake across the street was a bonus for getting the kids out of the house and off screens!

Quick family weekend - perfect

We enjoyed the privacy (4 bedrooms), cleanliness, open family area, large dining table, amazing location to both Sandusky and Cleveland for a perfect family weekend. Owner was super responsive and accommodating.

Great family vacation spot!

Loved our family vacation here. Lynnette was a wonderful host, answered questions quickly and was very friendly and offered advice and suggestions for our stay. The house is perfect for multiple families, a great layout and close to so many cool things.

Thus luxury house is beautifully decorated and updated. We enjoyed the open floor plan, comfortable furniture, and views of the lake. As a bonus my adult children (and husband) had fun with the video game. The house was very clean and the off-street parking is easy to access.
