Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabit’s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

The apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.

The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafés, eateries, and bars. Berlin’s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Ku’damm, is 3 subway stops from Turmstraße.

Super Host!

We are very satisfied about our vacation. Gregor is a great host, his many suggestions about food were really precious. The apartment is comfortable and in a great area. We'll definitely be back!!!

Warm place & perfect location!

The place was a dream. The room was very clean and bright, everything was well-furnished and comfortable. I loved the authentic old-fashioned vibe! <3 Greg was also very friendly and helpful, and he even made arrangements to make my stay easier.

Very good

Very good rooms, spacious and clean like the photos. It is not very close to the city center but it's easily reachable with public transport. The hosts are very friendly and the communication was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Great experience

The place is perfect, with big windows, a very confortable bed (amazing pillows!). I loved the cosmopolitan neighborhood with a lot of amazing food around the corner. Great location for a good price, I recommend and will book again next time I come to Berlin ! Gregor is nice and very helpful. Thank you!

best host ever

we loved the host, trevor was so kind. Fully recomended. I have been traveling a lot and never met someone that kind as trevor he helped us a lot. If we come again to berlin we will take the same flat :)

Berlin Stay

If you're looking for the Waldorf this isn't it. But if you want a clean, comfortable, well maintained room and a host that is easy to communicate with, this is your place. Room is a little out of the way since we didn't have a car, but that wasn't a problem since the bus stops were just a few steps away. If I'm ever in Berlin again I'll definitely stay here as long as Gregor remains the host.

This is a quiet place, good bedding, but a little loud when you swich on the the light in the bathroom. Kitchen equipment is very poor (no micro-wave oven, not enough pan and frying pan for example).

A little too old

I thought it had a bedroom but it was a studio. Very old. Door did not work w key, but manager finally fixed when we could not get in. Several appliances did not work. The neighborhood is marginal and far from most of the main tourist places. Otherwise manager was nice and tried to help.

Just like home! Super cute, calm and cosy flat❤️

We had such a wonderful time in this pretty flat. I already miss it and we will come back ♥️. To live in Moabit was the best choice I could make - there was a nice Café at the corner to get my coffee in the morning. Also it was a quiet place but still central. I was happy to be close to Grunewald to go for long walks with my dogs. Everything was perfect for us. The big sized beds were awesome and I really liked the Photographs of nature on the walls. Also the lamps were perfect with the lights. It was a warm and super cosy flat. Lieber Herr Bauer, ich bedanke mich noch Mal ganz herzlich für die super freundliche Kommunikation und die wunderschöne Unterkunft. So konnte ich nach sechs Jahren endlich wieder für ein paar Tage in der alten Heimat sein und es hat uns so glücklich gemacht, dass wir nach Berlin zurückkehren werden! Alles Gute für Sie 🍀

Günstig, aber lieblos

Die Wohnung ist recht heruntergekommen und spartanisch ausgestattet. Im Bad gibt es keine Abstellmöglichkeit für Badutensilien, keine Steckdose und die Fugen in der Dusche sind arg schimmelig. In der Küche befinden sich quasi nur Gabeln und Besteck in 3facher Ausführung, bei einem Schälmesser hört es dann schon auf.

Schlechter Gastgeber

Ich wurde von einer freundlichen Frau empfangen, die aber mit unzureichenden Kompetenzen ausgestattet war. Der Betrieb konnte mir keine Rechnung ausstellen, trotz mehrfacher Bitten (bereits im Vorfeld der Anreise, während des Aufenthalts sowie danach). Auch der Gastgeber Herr Bauer hat sich nie bei mir zurück gemeldet, obwohl mir dies zugesichert wurde. Also wer in dieser Unterkunft Sonderwünsche hat, sollte nicht damit rechnen, dass sie erfüllt werden! Ich werde jedenfalls nicht wieder kommen.

Gute Unterkunft

Zentral, in schöner und ruhiger Umgebung gelegen, ist die Wohnung freundlich eingerichtet, mit allem was so benötigt wird. In einer 1-Zimmer Altbau Wohnung kann eine wirklich authentische Berlin Erfahrung gesammelt werden. Leider ist die Dusche nicht so sauber / so weiß wie erwart werden.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist absolut toll, die Wohnung super und günstig gelegen. Das wird bei all meinen zukünftigen Berlin-Besuchen mein Domizil auf Zeit sein!
