Carolina Joy House offers a peaceful mountain retreat for travelers who want to experience the beauty of Western North Carolina without giving up modern comforts. Located just five minutes from downtown Robbinsville, the home sits in a quiet, secluded valley with easy access year-round.
The property is especially well suited for riders and road-trip travelers, with plenty of gravel parking and stress-free access for motorcycles, trikes, sports cars, jeeps, and trucks with trailers.
The home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests and includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include two queen beds, two XL twin beds, and two very comfortable foldable single beds that can be set up in the den when needed (please review photos for details).
Guests will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar, Starlink high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, Smart TV, central heating and air, a charcoal grill, fire pit, and outdoor space to relax after a day of exploring.
Guests have exclusive access to the house and backyard during their stay. A separate RV site located approximately 150 feet east of the home is off-limits to guests and is not our primary residence. If it is ever occupied, guests will be notified in advance.
All pricing includes fees — no hidden charges.

Another great stay

This was a return visit to Robbinsville. We were so happy to find Rosie's home was available for our stay again. The house is always spotless and the enhancements that have been made are fantastic. We enjoyed the deck and the bedroom TV.We have already made a fall reservation Can't wait!

Beautiful property

The property is gorgeous. Lovely bubbling Brooke on the property. So accommodating, multiple different coffee makers with creamer and coffee available. Toiletries included and the house is spotless. Communications with the property owner were prompt and enjoyable.

Motorcycle Friendly

This place was absolutely perfect. We came to ride the Tail of the Dragon. It was motorcycle friendly. The gravel driveway wasn’t bad since the gravel was packed down. Enough room for our truck and trailer. It is right beside Cherohala Skyway and about 20 mins from the Dragon. It was super clean and cozy. Also a plus that it was pet friendly. We definitely would stay here again. If there was a hot tub it would be even better.

Great property and host. Neighborhood dogs barking at night are reason I would not return.

Host, home, location all great. Every night, at all hours, dogs on neighboring properties barked without owners intervening. Unbelievably disrespectful to those around them. If you are a light sleeper, you better have a plan. I had to purchase earplugs. It was insane to me that anyone would subject those around them to this. A shame. I would otherwise have loved the trip and would have certainly retuned.

Best vacation

The house was very clean and well supplied for my family. The host was quick to respond to any messages. I would highly recommend her home for your family vacation. Such a nice quiet getaway. Hope to visit again before the year is out

Cajun Thanksgiving

Communications with Rosie was amazing. Everything was more than we could have expected. Directions for drive up was on point. Accommodations left nothing to be wanted or needed. Rental was cozy, clean and close to where our son lives. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay outside of Andrews NC.

Great place

Meet our needs very well. Great location for Tail of the Dragon and other fun drives. Conveniently close to Robbinsville. Plenty of parking. We had four cars plus a truck and trailer. Very quiet location.

Quick Bike Trip

Everything about the house was exactly as it was described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and where it was located. The owner was there with her husband and their beautiful Great Dane Valentino. They answered every question we asked and were very pleasant to talk to, we will be back!

Nice Property - Quiet Stay - 5 Stars

We enjoyed our short stay in Robbinsville at this clean, well-provisioned property. The view from the porch is nice and the creek behind the house was larger than expected. It is very quiet at night. The host worked closely with us to handle a special request and communications were excellent. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Clean and Cozy

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was very clean and cozy and once we arrived it was very quiet and private. Lots of security including Alex the neighborhood "welcome wagon" dog. He quickly made friends with our dogs and I felt even more secure with him hanging out. He is very polite and wasn't a nuisance at all. Rosie is a very good communicator and is quick to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We had a big wind storm while there that blew many branches off the trees and some of the patio furniture almost blew away but we felt secure inside the house. They have plenty of parking, it's easy to find and the coffee bar was a big hit. There's a creek on the property too, it's so nice to see the moving water. Thanks Rosie! We'd love to come back sometime

Clean, quiet and relaxing

Rosie is a thoughtful host, everything we could have needed was available to us. The house is layed out nicely and Rosie makes the best use of the space. The temperature outside was colder than we expected so we couldn't enjoy the outside areas. Hope to stay when we visit Robbinsville again.

The property and facility with amenities is awesome; very clean, enough room for 7 people with 2 pets and excellent care and service by Rosie. The very well stocked coffee bar was worth a 1,000 points, because we arrived late and had no time to get the basic groceries before we got there, but what a great sight to see that Rosie had all the necessities ready for us. Thank you. We will stay again in the us place if we happen to be in the area overnight. Thank you for an awesome experience!

So Serene!

This is the perfect place to get away and reset! The property is only 6 minutes from town, but has the most relaxing setting! It was perfect for two couples and our pup. We loved watching the sheep grazing in the distance every morning, and the creek that winds through the backyard just adds to the ambience. Rosie has many thoughtful touches throughout the home and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend this adorable property!

The mountains were calling, and after riding across North Carolina, we settled down in Robbinsville - home of The Great Smoky Mountains, Cherohala Skyway, Santeetlah Lake, and Tail of the Dragon - America's number one motorcycle and sports car road; to mention a few.
Carolina Joy House is a dream come true for us and the opportunity to share with two, three, and four-wheel enthusiasts like us the unique southern lifestyle while having all the "must-have" amenities you are looking for to start check-marking some of the most unforgettable experiences off your bucket list.

Carolina Joy House is located in Robbinsville, North Carolina.
Like any other small mountain/rural town, it features particular landscaping, where farms, houses, cabins, mobile homes, RVs, and camping areas coexist across Graham County.
Locals are friendly and always willing to help.
We are 5 mins. from the town center, where you will find a fully-stocked supermarket (beer and wine offered), a couple of pharmacies, an urgent care facility, and various restaurants: fast food, pizzeria, BBQ stop, Mexican, etc. Robbinsville is a well-organized town, with street lights and visible street signs.
Easy access to the house from the main paved road (Snowbird Rd) by all sorts of vehicles: motorcycles, trikes, sports cars, jeeps, and trucks with trailers to our road (gravel).
You won't have to work in or out of a steep driveway, and you will never run out of parking space.

The house accommodates up to 8 people. 2023 update - 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with 2 XL twin beds, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 single foldable beds to be allocated by the den (our cleaning crew set them up when needed). Accommodations Home automation features: Central AC/Heat, Starlink High-Speed Internet/WIFI, CO2/Fire detector, Smart TV, Ethernet connection. Making-you-life-easier amenities: Fully-stocked three machines Coffee Station (coffee pods, tea, creamer, sugar, etc.) and Kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, wine glasses, etc.) Air fryer, Ice maker. Dedicated Workspace, Washer/Dryer. Also, we provide sheets, covers, blankets, towels, kitchen rags, toilet paper, kitchen tissue, laundry detergent, hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Blow dryer, iron, iron board. Charcoal grill, fire pit (1 charcoal bag, 1 firewood bundle, and starter provided). Must-haves: fire extinguisher, first aid kit.
