The outside area with the pool was a big plus.The road is very busy and a bit challenging to navigate getting in ( there is a gate) . Once in a very safe and private area. Bed comfortable but hard to get around in the very small area. The owner and staff are wonderful. Not the Hilton but met are needs.

Nice property

Great pool across the street and location. Private space and area was secure. Gated with remote clicker and easy check in and check out.

Small Budget Home

If you are on a budget and comfort/ view is not important to you, then this place will work. Very little communication beforehand, when I received the "Here are the keys to your stay" email from VRBO (that usually has directions), it was empty. The property owner had not added any information yet. If you are looking for this property - it is DIRECTLY across the street from Snack Mahana. On the mountain side. Look for the green gate, and a tiny round sign that says Lagoon Dream. This is great for budget travelers. If you don't need a view (one window in the house does not face other houses). If you plan to rarely be here, perfect. Go out adventuring during the day and this will be a good base for you. But if you plan to spend time here, it is uninspiring. Very buggy outdoors. In a tight knit cluster of four homes, on the road. It's a small place - no space big enough to do yoga or lay out a yoga mat. Best plus is the big comfortable bed. So big there's barely room to walk around it in the bedroom. Pillows were flat. Fans worked good. The AC sounds like a small jet turning on and off throughout the night and kept my husband awake. There is no quiet setting. The light in the bedroom glows in the dark - you cannot turn it off. Towels were rough - they air dry everything. The slat windows in bathroom have no screens, and the bathroom is open air connected to the rest of the house so a few bugs get in. Kitchenette is a plus. We cooked a lot of our own meals with limited tools. Just ask the main house for anything you are missing. Gas stove, not really set up to bake anything, no temp setting on the oven. The ladies in the main house were very kind to us and nice. The pool and deck are across the street. We didn't spend time there. The local beach is better. We didn't take out the kayak or heavy plastic paddleboard (like a flat kayak).

A comfortable paradise

We were greeted at the security gate by Jing the owner and concierge with a big smile of welcome. We sat with her while our room was readied and bonded over shared life experiences and friendship. Jing had arranged a taxi for us as well as a E car. Both greatly appreciated. The bungalow was well appointed and thoughtfully furnished and arranged. Hot, hot water and coffee supplies. Nice touch. The grounds were clean and beautiful. A cross street walk led to the beautiful infinity pool and private deck and small beach with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Kayaks were available. The pool temperature was perfect. Plenty of shopping ,restaurant and activity options close by bike or car. We felt like family and were treated as such.
