Kahana Reef 217 is an oceanfront condo with an unbeatable location just yards away from the Pacific Ocean and featuring all the comforts of a home away from home. The condo includes a portable AC unit in the living room, along with the naturally cool ocean breezes that flow through the property. Enjoy beautiful, unobstructed, panoramic ocean views from your own spacious and private lanai. View the neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset while dining or having your favorite beverage. Watch whales, turtles, monk seals, and spinner dolphins swimming playfully in the beautiful, blue Pacific Ocean right from the privacy of your lanai.

The spacious, fully stocked kitchen features granite countertops and opens to a large breakfast bar perfect for conversing with friends and family while preparing meals. In the beautifully remodeled bathroom, you'll find a large, walk-in shower with a floor-to-ceiling glass door, custom countertops, and new cabinets.

When you're ready to relax after a full day of sun, enjoy the bedroom equipped with a roomy, King-size bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and the added perk of blackout curtains for sleeping in. The main living area features cable TV, WiFi, and a dining table that seats up to four. A bonus Queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping space, the portable A/C unit, ceiling fans, and tropical trade winds help keep guests cool after a day of exploration.

A bonus are the beach towels and chairs included to complete your beach accessories.

On-site property amenities include an oceanfront pool with lounge chairs, gas BBQ's, one assigned parking space, a coin-operated laundry facility, and of course, breathtaking views. Restaurants, markets, shopping, and golfing are all within minutes, making this a perfect location for your vacation home base.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or décor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

Very nice place. Views were outstanding! Bed was very comfortable. There were a few issues that CB management will address, but overall - very nice condo. The weather on the other hand .... well, that can't be helped!

Lanai views were awesome. Location wonderful. Kitchen had everything needed. Bed was comfortable. However the air conditioning is suboptimal especially in the bedroom. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay

My wife and I spent 7 days at this ocean front property. A beautiful swimming beach steps away, a few minutes to Lahaina or Whalers Village, and plenty of walkable restaurants and stores. Highly recommended

Beautifull accommodation

The place was perfect with free parking. Very clean, lots of room and a lot of lighting. The patio door was so big, it required a little bit of effort to open.Strongly recommend . Thanks

great location, clean, amazing views

Property was very well equipped with all of the necessities of an apartment. BBQ's were readily available and clean. Turtles bathed directly out front of the balcony. short drive/Uber to Lahaina/Whaler Village.

Kahana on the water

The property was as expected. We suffered through some loud maintenance for the week we were there, which was unfortunate. The view is what we wanted and it was delivered.

The unit is as described.

The beach is a small and rocky but it was enjoyable. The AC Unit is only in the living room so the bedroom was a bit warm even though there were fans in there. It was tolerable however. Nicely decorated unit. We had a great time.

Close to the water / ocean .

We enjoyed our stay . Location was great . Parking our car was nice . Clean /out door grounds . Grass area very nice . Closer to the water. And not over looking the pool area . The room is very nice . But a few things could be replaced . Patio sliding window . Very hard to operate. And the bed needs replaced.the patio table has rust all over it . All other was very nice .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have stayed at this condo twice and the complex four times. We love the location with the ocean only steps away on a virtually private beach. Everything was kept up to date and clean. This particular condo is a bit larger than the others and it is at the end on part of the complex, which means that there is only one neighbor next door. It is the perfect romantic spot for a couple or for families. We will be back for a fifth visit next year.

A lovely week at Kahana Reef!

From the moment we walked into this condo, we were very impressed and happy! What a great view, and the place is very tastefully decorated. I enjoyed having an a/c unit, it was definitely a plus in this condo. The location is also great. You are at a great spot to drive to the north coast to see the sites (dragons tooth & blowhole), and just down the road from Lahina town. There is a convenient gas station 1 minute down the street with a whalers general store, and a nice Times Supermarket 6 min down the street. Every evening you can find the sea turtles feeding on the alge and seaweed on the rock wall in front of this condo when the tide comes up a bit. It was great to be able to watch them whenever you wanted later in the day! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and I would 100% stay here again!

Great Location to Watch Whales!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best place to be for whale watching! Bring your binoculars and sit on the lanai to watch the waves and the whales. We were there when the Tradewinds allowed for the kite and sail surfers to play. It was a wonderful time. The place is great with all the kitchen amenities you could need. We would love to stay here again. They provide beach chairs and coolers, but no umbrella- but you can rent one for the week for $25 from Boss Frogs over in Napili. Be sure to eat at A'a Roots and get some coffee from Napili Coffee Shop.

Excellent location and outstanding view.

The property was clean and was equipped with most utensils. The air conditioning was insufficient to keep you cool and the bedroom was extremely warm even with the fan on. My suggestion would be to upgrade to a mini-split. The mattress is old and warm out, it is in need of replacement. The sliding glass door needs attention as it is difficult to open and is loud when doing so. The location in Khana is perfect to enjoy the better beaches on the island. Overall we enjoyed our stay but will find a condo with better air conditioning next time.

Happy Anniversary

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sweetheart & I had a tremendously wonderful time celebrating our anniversary in this lovely rental! It was in a great location, with clean accommodations and a jaw dropping view. The vacation rental management staff were excellent communicators, and in contact during our stay to answer any questions. A+ for being awesome and helpful. What impressed us the most was the well stocked rental with all the thoughtful amenities needed to make ourselves at home, and what a home it was! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee with a view every morning. We snorkeled often and found the cooler and beach towels very useful. Our foodie journeys found great eateries and bringing home left overs was a cinch to thanks to the clean full size fridge.The care and love was felt every turn from the owners, managers and cleaning staff. We will be back to celebrate future anniversaries.

Excellent listing caution the AC

The check in process and overall experience was excellent. The host was very communicative before and during the stay. They will reach out to you to make sure your check in went smoothly and if there is anything that is needed. They are very responsive and do anything they can to resolve any issues if they arise. The views are stunning and the sunsets can be seen from your balcony. The location is great with a short drive to most places. There was only one issue we had which was relayed to the host. The AC unit is listed as portable, but is can only remain in the corner of the living area as the exhaust is attached to the wall. It is capable of cooling the living area, but does not cool the bedroom. While it is normal to not have AC at all in Hawaii, there was no way to open windows to get a breeze because the bedroom windows are behind a building column that obstructs the breeze. The bedroom is about 10 degrees hotter than the living room and 3 fans were unable to cool it. The host was very accommodating asking to add another fan. We got around this issue by sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living area (surprisingly comfortable for a sleeper sofa). This did not impact our trip and we still had a wonderful time visiting Hawaii.

Great place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, clean, nice place. Was some construction going on but they didnt start early or work late. Really enjoyed the deck and seeing the turtles. Bedroom got a little warm but other than that, loved it!
