The vintage Lowcountry character of this old beach house has been endearingly refreshed and updated. One porch was dramatically enlarged and screened-in to overlook the private pool. The second porch transformed into a cozy sunroom.
The refurbished ground floor has en suite bedroom, washer/dryer nook and internal stairs to the main floor. A picnic table and outdoor shower with changing room are located under the shade of the house. Parking is available on two sides of this corner lot.
The prized corner lot position puts this home on a short side street with direct beach access. A small boat landing is steps away across the road, perfect for launching kayaks or a Jon boat to explore the saltmarsh creek.

AMENITIES: Flat screen cable TV-3, DVD-2, high-speed internet service, microwave, dishwasher, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, internal stairs between floors, BBQ grill, private pool (no heat), carport, 2 outdoor showers (1 enclosed), boat launch only steps away, 7 miles of soft sandy beach, beach gear credit.
HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.
LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.
DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.
LITCHFIELD BEACH: Walkable with a laidback vibe, this community offers residents and visitors easy access to miles of pristine beach as well as creek access via a small public boat launch. A stroll will rekindle friendships made from past stays, bring scenic Lowcountry vistas, and provide shops and restaurants to visit on foot. Grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks and more are an easy drive away.
