Modern villa
This is a modern, IKEA furnished villa. The grounds are immaculate, and setting provides a private, high level view of the lake and Verbania from a number of spots on the second floor. If someone has mobility issues, there are no handrails on any of the stone stairways leading up to the villa and none within the villa. The headboards in the bedrooms are not attached to the bed nor the wall and can easily fall onto the bed. The wifi does do work, and repeated contacts with the property manager during our week stay did not lead to attempts to fix the problem. Vacation stays today are often a combination of remote work and pleasure. Access to the internet is increasingly important for both. Upon arrival, we were told by the property manager that two of the large front doors were broken and did not work. In fact one of the doors would not close completely leaving a large gap at the top and side so insects entered the building. During our week stay, there was no attempt to have the doors fixed.
