This house is perfectly located near the airport and a 10 minute walk down to the beach, with restaurants also within walking distance. The unobstructed view of the beach and the ocean stretching north and south as far as you can see is absolutely stunning. The view is from the front of the house, which has a long balcony off the living room and master. The master suite is gorgeous and the bathroom is very large and updated. The large kitchen is also very modern making this house a charming blend of older architecture with updated conveniences. The bar dividing the 2 living rooms is a fun touch. The big living room with extra large smart tv was a perfect gathering space and provided us an ideal place to show a slideshow to our gathering, which was a celebration of life. The host and house manager were both extremely accommodating, communicative, and kind. We felt we could not have made a better choice and this weekend rental was well worth the money.

The property was beautiful. Ocean view was breathtaking. The host was easy to communicate with. Property manager was efficient and very pleasant.Area is very hilly so if you have walking problems could be difficult. We loved the hills though and it added to the charm of the area.

Lovely Beach Stay

Great location and spacious house. Enough bedding and towels. AC was nice and cold after a hot day at the beach. We loved hanging out on the front deck to watch the sunset.

My 11 day stay

I would give the location, house layout and service an A. I The amenities were a C. I have stayed at a number of properties in the area and generally the upkeep was maintained as if the owner lived there. This was not the case, Things llike pans, bathrooms, televisions, remotes and general upkeep were average.

Family Thanksgiving by the Beach

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. Shyra, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating and responsive to all my questions, both before and during our visit. The views and location were fantastic—exactly what we were looking for—and the short, easy walk to the beach was awesome. While my family and I would happily consider returning to this house, there are a few minor areas for improvement. Given the cost and the way the property is marketed to be a luxury home for 15 guests, some amenities fell short of our expectations. For example, the kitchen lacked enough silverware/bowls for our group of 12. On the positive side, there were plenty of linens, which is always appreciated, but the bath towels were noticeably worn and not soft, replacing them is an easy fix. The 7 bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable, but there were only two standard pillows for the queen/king beds. Additional pillows would have been nice. There were no lamps in the bedrooms which would make it easier to read or move around at night without relying on the overhead ceiling lights. Adding some thoughtful bedroom decor could also make the bedrooms feel more inviting—like a true home away from home. The living/dining rooms and outdoor spaces were perfect and provided ample space to relax and enjoy our time together. With a few updates, this home is an exceptional getaway spot and a place for guests to happily return to!

Beautiful home and view

The place is incredible. It's huge, has an amazing view, and the beach is very walkable. The hosts are very communicative. We had zero issues and would recommend to anyone. Maybe a suggestion to update the cornhole boards, but that's about it.

Great house by the beach

Our family of 10 (four kids ages 2,5,6,9), two sets of parents and one set of grandparents had a great time in this house. Location, accommodations and property manager were all great!

Great family retreat!

Enjoyed views and proximity to beach and many other fun activities in Los Angeles and Hollywood. Accommodations for all ages and lots of room to enjoy being together. Large kitchen and many other amenities.

You will love this place!

Photos and description don't convey how special this property is. Beautiful views and super convenient location to enjoy the beach. Great house manager. Back yard is heavenly. House layout is terrific and so much space! I only hope that we can enjoy the house again in the future!

Amazing place!

Perfect for our family gathering for my parents 63rd anniversary! Beatiful beach views from every direction, great parking access, 3 rooms have patios. Backyard has a view too! Fully oufitted kitchen, beach and yard games, beach chairs and towels. Could not have been happier.

Perfect in Playa del Rey

wonderful weekend stay in Playa del Rey. House was clean, well cared for and kitchen was well stocked. Close to restaurants and bars and of course the beach. stunning sunsets from the deck of the house made for great pictures and evening cocktails. would recommend it.

Playa Del Rey ocean view property

House and the backyard was large enough to accommodate our family of 14 of 8 adults and children of age 7 to 17 The ocean view and the breeze with beautiful sunset was awesome Kitchen was large and well stocked Loved the walkability to the beach and nearby restaurants. Beautiful and Spacious Home

The house is beautiful and spacious and was well suited for my family of nine. We woke up every morning to incredible ocean views. The beach is a short, 10-15 minute walk. The kitchen was moderately stocked with appliances and dishes. We could have used more face/wash cloths (there wasn’t enough for our party) but it wasn’t a big deal. The property manager is the best, very responsive to a small issue with the refrigerator that was fixed immediately. While we didn’t take advantage of the 2 bottles of wine that greeted us upon arrival, we did eat the snacks that accompanied the wine in the beautiful basket.
