Welcome to Wisdom Spirit Ranch II (WSR II) — Your Sedona-Area Retreat in Verde Valley Wine Country

Please note: An attached, completely private studio next to the house is occupied by the owners a couple of times per year when they are not traveling. The backyard is secluded and private as well.

In Cornville's Verde Valley wine country, just a 25-minute drive from Sedona's red rocks, Green Acres offers something Sedona itself rarely provides: room to breathe, true privacy, and quiet starlit nights. Close enough for a half-day at Cathedral Rock, Tlaquepaque, or West Fork — far enough to wake up to nothing but birds.

This spacious single-level 3-bedroom ranch home sits on 2 private acres surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views. A charming tree-tunnel drive opens to a warm ranch-style welcome. Inside, a bright open layout features a large living room and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with an oversized island. The primary suite is a retreat of its own — private door to the jacuzzi and a beautifully renovated en suite with a relaxing steam shower.

Outdoors, expansive green lawns, a peaceful workout area, a hot tub, and a BBQ grill make this a place to genuinely unwind — not just sleep between Sedona day trips. A dedicated outdoor dining space invites breakfast in the fresh Cornville air or dinner beneath some of the darkest night skies in the region.

Five minutes from Page Springs Cellars and the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Fifteen minutes from Old Town Cottonwood. Twenty-five minutes from everything Sedona has to offer. Clean and comfortable

This suite was very clean and comfortable for myself and my spouse. We just needed a place to sleep while we explored Sedona and the surrounding area and this was a cost effective way to do that. Keep in mind, this is a room in someone’s house. You will hear voices, smell their food, hear dogs barking, and know when they are coming and going from their garage. This didn’t bother us, but if you are looking for complete solitude and quiet this might not be the place for you. We spoke with the owner, Tim, almost daily. He was very friendly and wanted to be accommodating. We didn’t get to use the hot tub due to the temperature being turned down, but there does seem to be a lot of rules around when you can use it. We were able to use the grill, which was nice, so that we could make some of our own meals.

Excellent stay

The location was perfect for our weekend. We had planned activities in both Jerome/Cottonwood and Sedona and this put us right in the middle. The place was clean, comfortable, and well put together. Checking in and out was simple and the communication with the owners was great. There are some really great areas on the property to sit and relax with your morning coffee (pond, patio, backyard). We were able to enjoy the hot tub, which was great after long days running around the valley. I would recommend this unit. Overall it was a great experience with both the property and the owners.

Nice Getaway!

I found this nice property located less than 3 miles from my friends in Cornville, Az. It’s located at the gateway to Sedona, and close to all the sights and activities in that area. It’s a cozy guest cottage with a mini-kitchen, nice bath, sofa, comfy queen bed. There’s also a nice yard and seating around a meditation circle, and access to a hot tub. A beautiful, quiet place for a getaway for two.

Hi — we’re Tim Fraser and Julie Valentin, your hosts.

We live near Sedona in Arizona’s Verde Valley and love welcoming people to this part of the state.

Tim spent 45 years in technology leadership (including pioneering an early web-based hotel booking system and C-suite roles at Nokia, Equifax, and Ernst & Young). Julie has spent 20+ years supporting personal transformation through modalities including Human Design, Matrix Energetics, master coaching, and Star Magic. Together we run Quantum Alchemy Fusion, based here in the Verde Valley.

We host two homes prepared with the same standard we want as travelers: spotless, well-equipped, reliable fast Wi Fi, and clear communication.

Sedona Gold (West Sedona): a well-maintained 3BR home with hundreds of 5-star reviews, walkable to Sugarloaf Trail and West Sedona dining — a great fit for families, couples, and small groups.

Wisdom Spirit Ranch II (Cornville): a peaceful 3BR ranch on 2 private acres, ~25 minutes to Sedona and ~5 minutes to Page Springs wineries — with dark skies, space, and quiet. Pet-friendly, with a hot tub, steam shower, and privacy to truly unwind.

We’re hands-on local hosts and respond quickly (often within an hour during waking hours). If something needs attention, we handle it promptly.

Note: Wisdom Spirit Ranch II has an attached private studio next to the main house that we use a few times per year. It’s fully separate (its own entrance and systems) and not part of the rental.

We chose Wisdom Spirit Ranch II because it offers something Sedona itself simply can't: space, silence, the open skies/stars, and YES, few tourists

Two acres of private land, dark skies that let you actually see the Milky Way, and quiet country mornings — paired with proximity to everything that brings people to this part of Arizona. Sedona is twenty-five minutes away when you want it. Wineries are five minutes away. The hot tub, steam shower, and 2-acre yard are right outside your door.

Some guests come for the Sedona day trips. Some come for the wine country and barely leave the property. The home is built for either, and we've seen both kinds of stays produce the same response from guests at checkout: I needed this.
