Childers Chalet – Cozy Mountain Retreat in Towamensing Trails

Welcome to Childers Chalet, a comfortable and inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located in the desirable Towamensing Trails community in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by nature and close to top Pocono attractions, this chalet is the perfect escape for families, couples, or small groups.

Childers Chalet is thoughtfully set up for both relaxation and fun:

3 bedrooms with comfortable beds and fresh linens

Private master suite offering added privacy and its own en-suite bathroom

A fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook and dine together

Pet-friendly accommodations so your furry family members can join you

Community & Outdoor Amenities (Towamensing Trails)
Guests enjoy access to community amenities, including:

Lake access for swimming and fishing (seasonal)

Towamensing Trails Amenity Badges & Community Guidelines

To enjoy Towamensing Trails community amenities, 8 amenity wristbands are provided with your stay. If additional bands are needed, up to 2 extra wristbands may be purchased at the community boathouse for $10 per band. Guests must present the rental packet when purchasing additional bands.

Please note that trash removal is the responsibility of the guest. All trash must be taken to the Towamensing Trails community trash compactor prior to checkout. Detailed instructions are provided in the home.

These community rules are enforced by Towamensing Trails and help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents and guests.

Great experience overall. A wonderful, clean, nicely kept house in a nice and quiet area. It snowed twice while on our trip, and someone came in the middle of the night and plowed the driveway. Greatly appreciated. Only negative is garbage has to be thrown out 10 minutes away so be mindful when you stay. All in all, absolutely great place to stay at for your trip and would come again!

Our 2nd stay at this property. Quiet and secluded perfect for an October vacation to relax and enjoy the autumn leaves. Clean and tidy. Needs a new toaster though

Overall we had a good stay at this house. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is no shortage of deer at dusk and dawn. My two older sons enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, plates, silverware and small appliances. The house could use some updates like the one couch, and definitely a new set of towels. The couch and throw rug had a lot of dog hair which you’ll have if you allow dogs which I did appreciate. I tried using the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the rug but the vacuum cleaner was struggling with picking up the hair. A new vacuum cleaner would be helpful too.

The House was absolutely beautiful and VERY clean. They were stocked up on everything that you would need. Hot Tub was clean and so relaxing. I will definitely rent again!

Bachelor Trip in the Mountains

4 of my friends and I stayed at this property for a small bachelor weekend. The property was great for us, and I can imagine it would be great for families. Having laundry on site was extremely helpful. The host was very responsive and was there for any questions I had. I would definitely visit again.

Great secluded spot

We really enjoyed our week here. On your own cul-de-sac, surrounded by woods. Clean and tidy. Nice hot tub. It rained a lot during our week, but no problem, we played ping pong and darts and pool. Nice relaxing week in a top notch property. We booked our Autumn vacation here before we checked out!

Great place to stay!!!

The stay was great, me and the family enjoyed all of the amenities ranging from the pool table, to the game room. The grill in the backyard was was more than enough for me to make the food we needed while the kids enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Had a wonderful time. The only downside is having to take the trash a few miles down the road when u leave. Was an extra 15 min which kind of stinks. Otherwise awesome location, house, hot tub!!

Great weekend with friends & family. Location was great. Only wish ceiling fan in loft worked. Enjoyed the fireplace. Poker table was broken and in the corner in the game room but was able to use the kitchen table for card games. Hot tub was a great amenity. Over all great weekend with the snow & skiing.
