The home owner was very responsive and checked in with us regularly. There was bad weather and the road into the property gave us some trouble with our travel trailer. However the property owner worked with us and we resolved the issue swiftly. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. We would recommend this stay again and again.... just maybe without a travel trailer. :)

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house was clean, well stocked, and spacious enough for everyone in out group (2 adults and 2 teenagers) to have their own space when they needed it. It is located in a quite neighborhood, so we never had to worry about road or crowd noise and the views of the stars were pretty awesome. The host was quick to respond to all of our questions and even let us know about a small wild fire near the neighborhood that was quickly contained and extinguished. If we ever return to Santa Fe, we will definitely be looking to see if this property is available.

The neighborhood drive appeal was a little less than desirable, but the house and grounds themselves were excellent. It was very comfortable and clean, and the view in the back yard was lovely! I would definitely stay there again!

House was in great location. Beds all comfy & house clean. If you cook I mentioned a few things to the owner that the house could use, otherwise everything was great! Shower pressure was awesome!! Host communicated extremely well!

Peaceful oasis in a great location

Just five minutes off I-25, easy to get to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Great house, very clean, all needed appliances/conveniences. Quiet area. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, quiet home

I came down with my brothers and son for some golf in the Santa Fe area. This property was was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable, the common areas were great, and the neighborhood was quiet. Jose, the property owner, was great with communication and we all had a good time.

Beautiful Home Just Outside Santa Fe

It is an easy drive to Santa Fe from this location. Perfect for traveling to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and surrounding areas. The house is very comfortable. Jose goes out of his way to make sure you are happy and have everything that you need.

Amy was a great guest and we were happy to have hosted. She kept in touch throughout her stay and was happy to help in any way we could. Would happily host her and hers again and we're in the middle of fencing a section of the back yard so the patio will be even nicer next time around.

Great stay, had everything we needed

The house was perfect. Clean and organized. We only used the hot tub just once but it was great after a day of skiing. There’s plenty of privacy but it’s not too far from town. Would def stay again!

Excellent!

Jose was responsive kind and respectful. The house was bigger than I thought and so nicely laid out and decorated well. The hot tub was clean and large. We enjoyed it very much! Beds comfy. Neighborhood very neat and quiet. Would stay again!

Beautiful Home

Just a beautiful, comfortable, spacious home! Easy drive to Sunport and Santa Fe’s restaurants and art scene. Quiet neighborhood and the hot tub was a welcome treat after long hikes. Large enough for a family or friend group. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely rent again.

Everything was wonderful at the house one thing that we all thought of is maybe night lights it's very dark when you shut the lights off in the room otherwise everything was perfect. We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Lovely getaway, well-appointed

Absolutely charming house; the space is very functional / easy to move around in. We stayed with 2 couples and found everything wonderful. The listing is well-detailed. Check-in instructions were received in a timely manner, with the recommendation that we shouldn’t try to arrive / find the house for first time in the dark. We agree with that (even though we arrived in the daylight.)

Great time in La Cienega!

Everything was absolutely perfect during our stay here. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The outlets in one of the bedrooms were not worked we arrived due to a breaker. We were unable to locate the breaker box but the host arrived to take of the problem within the hour. I would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and just as advertised

We were looking for a quiet location and we got it! the house was clean and the amenities were just as described in the listing. I wish the kitchen had a few more products (baking sheets, aluminum foil) but you just never know. The owner was very fast to respond to questions and worked with us quickly on one issue.

Great Stay in Santa Fe

We highly recommend staying at Jose and Andrea's property when you visit New Mexico, you will be glad you did. They are excellent hosts who care about making their rental guests comfortable. A/C broke before our stay and they purchased cooling units to keep the place cool (though in evenings it cools down if you can sleep with open windows - we could not due to allergies). They kept us up-to-date on the a/c repair and made sure we were cool and comfortable in the house. They provide you with coffee, the place is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is ideal. When staying in Santa Fe this is a great rental choice!

Great Place

Authentically decorated house which fit six of us very comfortably for our time sleeping, eating, and relaxing. Has an amply stocked kitchen, supply closet/laundry room, linen closet, and bathrooms. Hot tub was clean and worked. Probably the best stocked VRBO I've ever been in, actually. Nice welcome book with plenty of suggestions for local attractions, not too many rules or restrictions, cleaning responsibilities were very manageable. Located in a semi-private neighborhood with interesting places to explore, like the water out back, and the church and cemetery out front. We loved hearing the neighbor's animals (chickens, goats, cows?) lol.We talked about how much we loved being at this house while we were there and we would certainly stay there again.

We loved this hidden gem

Our stay at La Cienega was great. In my initial request on VRBO to rent La Cienega I mentioned that I would be travelling with my children in their mid 20's and my 3 yr old grandson. Our host Andrea reached out to see if we needed anything to help accommodate his stay as well as ours. Andrea was readily available to communicate and answer any questions we had throughout or stay. Our check-in was easy. The La Cienega home is conveniently located a quick 10 minutes from Sante Fe and a few miles from Santa Fe Ojo Mineral Springs in the historic town of La Cienega. The home included a whole lot more for a nice private relaxing stay outside of town, but still close enough to enjoy the town of Santa Fe as well. The home is spacious and is well stocked with so much more than the necessities to feel as comfortable as you are at home while on vacation. While we did experience meals out, we were also comfortable staying in. We had plush clean comfortable beds and lots of windows for great views of the snowy terrain as it had just snowed the morning we arrived. There is also a small creek on the property that makes for a fun stroll next to the home. Our five day stay was not enough time and we all absolutely loved what my grandson calls the "Holiday House". Thank you again!

Perfect location, perfect rental. Period

Don’t be fooled as you enter the town of La Cienega, this is the perfect spot just outside of Santa Fe to commute to everything near and far. Occasionally you find a rental that you say “That’d be how I’d do it, because I’d do it right if I were an owner”. This is that place. Perhaps one of the best places I’ve ever rented on VRBO. Because it was rented by a human, an owner (not a company) who put mad efforts into this place in both design and construction. The artwork alone in the house is world class, as good as any gallery downtown. The hot tub was the biggest hot tub we’ve ever had in a rental (real jacuzzi brand). The back patio was amazing, we sat out there every night. The TV had every app installed when we rented, this is quite unusual, but we took advantage in downtime. There are plenty of supplies of consumables (soap, paper towels, tp, laundry etc), as well as a huge stash of condiments, cooking oil etc. Owners were communicative and responsive and flexible too. We can’t say enough about this place. Being not right downtown we found a huge advantage, going up to the mountains (Taos, Sandia Crest), or to Albuquerque proper. Incredible sunsets every night on the patio. And it was cheaper too. An amazing rental with amazing hosts. A must stay!

Everything was very nice and as expected except there was not enough washcloths and no pillowcases for the extra bedrooms just shams on the pillows. All in all our stay was very nice, quiet and we had access to everything we needed! Thank you for the opportunity to visit this area.
