Suwannee Riverfront Retreat

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise. Sip your coffee from the balcony overlooking the river or walk out to your private dock to check your fishing line. Sit for a while and watch the beautiful Suwannee River go by. You might even see a sturgeon jump. Bring your boat (or rent one from local business), spend the day fishing, swimming in the nearby clear water springs and exploring the Lower Suwannee Wildlife Refuge. You can also head out to the Gulf of America. Clean your catch, cook it up and end the day admiring the changing colors of the twilight sky as it reflects on the water.

River House

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable river house. It was supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch or deck and watching the boats on the river. Karen, the host, checked on us and replied quickly when we had a question. I have referred friends and family and we hope to stay there again in the future. I highly recommend this place.

Wow!

Where to start! Just wow! Absolutely an amzing stay! So convenient to fanning springs, manatee springs and more.. the fishing pier was Absolutely great! We caught fish everytime we went down there. The home was very clean and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful veiw of the river from the back windows. Tables an chairs outside on the deck and in the breakfast sunroom were a added bonus to the stay. The hostes where great at communicating an answered all questions we may of had. 5 stars all around!

Suwanee River

What an awesome cozy, clean house that sits right on the Suwanee River we were able to paddleboard fish swim right off the dock in an excellent location. Lots of memories. And a great location to where we were able to hit a great deal of springs in the area.

Perfect stay

Our stay on the river was perfect. The owners are pleasant and available for any questions you may have. The house is just like the pictures, but, better as you can't take a picture of cozy and comfortable. The house is very clean, the beds and furniture are comfortable and the washer and dryer are a bonus. The view of the sunrise is fantastic. We saw boats crusing by and there are fish to catch off the dock. We were there to visit with family, but, there are parks and other activities nearby. There are also restaurants close by if you don't feel like cooking. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Thank you Pieter and Karen for sharing your home with us.

First timer

Since we never did this before, we weren't sure what to expect. The location was great being fairly close to the places we wanted to visit and being right on the river was a plus. The road noise was distracting but we had been told about it before hand. Over all a good experience.

Better than a Hotel

The cabin provides a much more relaxed and home like environment than a hotel. It’s almost like being at home on a vacation but somewhere else! The cabin is stocked with more than you will ever need to have . Communication with Karen was very good. Thank you Karen for sharing your cabin with us.

Way down upon the Suwannee River :)

We enjoyed our stay on the river while visiting with family in the area. The river was just how I remembered from many years past. I look forward to our next trip. The only complaint was the traffic noise at night which may not be an issue for others. The morning coffee on the porch more than compensated for the traffic noise.
