Year round perfect temperature, because of altitude and house design, with natural cooling from breeze, perfect for sleeping, enjoy fireplace and hot tub in evening, then outdoors for daytime adventures. Volare has large grassy playing field with volleyball, walking trails, waterfall.

Small rural community yet close to good health services, food options.

As you request, enjoy your private cook, daily cleaning, laundry, transportation throughout Costa Rica, child care.

Activities suitable for kids down to 4 years, and senior citizens. Also hard core rafting, biking, hiking. Volare is away from city noise and tourism congestion.

Available, at additional cost: all private for you: Chef, massage, transportation, local adventures - private rafting, waterfalls, access to nature, biking, off-road 4x4 with great places to explore.

Kids, like to cook with Yamilet, or learn to climb with harness, ropes, jumars, set up camp tent near our private waterfalls.

Amazing!

We could not have enjoyed this more. It exceeded expectations from the views to the home cooked meals, (Jami is a gem) to Mao and Tucker’s helpfulness in getting us booked into tours and raftin. We LOVED it.

Incredible View

Came to Turrialba for the Canyons- but fell in love with this place. The deck was incredible, great place for mornings- watching the Tucan, watching the clouds roll by all from a comfy chair. The hot tub was a rare novelty. I spent time in other cities in CR, but this place is incredible. Absolutely will be back!

Beautiful Experience

We all loved this place. It was like living in a beautiful piece of art. Swinging in the hammock and contemplating the clouds was incredibly relaxing. Yamileh and Mau were very kind and helpful. Be prepared for a very curvy drive to this amazing house.

Gorgeous views, amazing home

What an amazing home in a beautiful location! We opted to stay in and just enjoy all the house had to offer, and we took full advantage: dinner by Yami (delicious, and lots of it!), airport transfer for some of our party, couples massage, a few uses of the tub, tons of cloud watching, sloth searching (unfortunately we didn’t find him) and waterfall swimming. We ate at some of the local restaurants, which were excellent (most notably Carnitas Chani and the Mexican place next to El Rio (can’t remember the name). It was so relaxing and just what we needed. We would definitely return and recommend.

Lovely house

We loved our stay here! Definitely take advantage of having Mau pick you up at the airport and drive you to the house. We also had him drive us to our next location, where we rented a car, and it was worth every penny. We had Yami cook breakfast and dinner each day and it was the BEST decision! The food was delicious. She was so unobtrusive and it was such a luxury to have her cook for us The house and property are exactly as described, and are beautiful. Very comfortable beds, amazing views. Ask to have someone show you the waterfall on the property, it's beautiful! We loved our stay here, don't hesitate to book!

Superb comfort, excellent meals, complete privacy, will return every year

A family vacation with everything we could have asked for. The views - above clouds, above birds in trees, rain forest, mountain sunrises and sunsets they all beat the seaside. Volare is just as beautiful inside - the artwork, the design of the house and selection of comfortable furniture, the fireplace, the oversize bath tubs, linens and bedding. Yamilet's cooking took all the stress away and let our family simply experience local specialties. The privacy blew us away, as did everything about Volare. We'll be back as soon as we know the school schedules for 2023.

Wonderful stay at Volare

Custom home with breathtaking views! We stayed 4 days with our family on our first visit to Costa Rica. We enjoyed the natural beauty and the abundance of birds we saw from the expansive deck. The owner's knowledge and communication helped us plan for an unforgettable family adventure. We enjoyed our guide/driver Antonio's efforts and company so much we shared dinner together one night. Although new to his role, he will become an outstanding guide. He took the extra effort of making sure we had plenty of photographs of our group to remember the experience. A combination of beautiful surroundings and fantastic interactions with our host and guide, has us talking about our next trip to Costa Rica and Volare will be part of our itinerary.

Great as pictures!

This place is amazing! We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations, views and luxury feeling. I can’t describe how much we loved the house and pictures don’t do it justice. While there contact turrialtours-Johnathan. He and his group were amazing and we did a group tour with a fresh lunch. We can’t say enough great things about them both. He house was cleaned each day and laundry was picked up as well by Yami. Mau met us at the gate to answer questions and stopped by that evening. He was a great property manager with very timely responses. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We plan to be back.

Best house ever!!

This place is magic! All I want to do is move to Costa Rica and live in this house forever! The view is amazing! The house itself is so fun, so much cool art everywhere! The hot tub was such a cool experience. We all truly enjoyed our time here, so much so that we spent one whole day of our vacation just at the house not going anywhere/seeing anything. Just relaxing and reading in the hammocks watching the clouds pass by! Would highly recommend Volaré. Such a good experience!

The most beautiful and interesting home we have ever stayed in, period. We never knew a place like

We never knew a place so spectacular as this existed. It has changed our priority for all future vacations. The views are spectacular. We watched birds land in treetops just off the deck and found a sloth in a tree nearby. The house is so comfortable, and every detail was first class. We took advantage of the private meals and tours offered by Volare, and that was a very wise decision.

I designed and built Volare to satisfy my love of being above clouds. Volare -- it means "I will fly" -- combines all the joy of soaring high with the local birds and the warmth of a real wood fireplace, excellent food, the fresh water hot tub on a tower, eclectic decor, and absolute privacy.

Volare's interior is comfortable, from exceptionally comfortable beds and linens to real leather sofas and chaise lounge inside. The open kitchen allows the cook to join the conversation while cooking.. Open the sliding doors and join the spacious deck with the house. Gather around the fireplace to eat dinner -- inside or on the deck. Play the sound system with your favorites --. no neighbors to hear you -- or you to hear them. Hike the 7 acre property - down to our small waterfall. Noisy toucans and oropendulas will alert you to their nests in trees just below your perch on the deck. It's a naturalist's paradise, all just 20 minute to the town of Turrialba.
