Club Marena K38 Wine & Waves Retreat. Five star Resort at world class surf break

We love to surf, travel, eat and drink wine. That's what brought us to Club Marena at K38. After travelling to Baja for my whole adult life, I found this place while surfing at the public K38 Taco Surf break. My buddy and I made the long paddle over to the firing point break out front, and caught so many waves we were too tired to paddle back. So we saw the ramp down to the private beach and decided we would go in there. Security is so tight, they promptly threw us out. But at that time, I was determined to someday buy a place in the beautiful, secure complex.

So I told my wife we needed to travel to the area to stay at Club Marena and a few other spots like Las Gaviotas and La Fonda, to scope out the surroundings and find the very best place to buy. It turned out that Club Marena was that perfect spot, and here we are. It's right on one of the most consistent, best shaped surf breaks in north Baja.(San Miguel being the other one but adds another 50 minutes to your drive from the US). Club Marena is only a 3 hour drive from our house in Los Angeles(San Pedro), which is much closer than most other resort areas in which we'd want to own a vacation home. The culinary scene surrounding us is phenomenal...some of the freshest sushi you'll ever taste, as local artisan crafted beer. It's close to Mexico's largest wine producing valley; Valle de Guadalupe, only 45 minutes away. It's a super safe area, consisting of many ex-pats, who are super friendly. Our community is safe, with professional, friendly security guards on duty around the clock; all of whom are required to speak English proficiently. Please understand that on all properties in this area near the ocean, there will be some road noise.
