Perfect location for a restful getaway on one of the most beautiful islands in the country!

We are Super Hosts and this is a new listing for us. The house is freshly updated, and ready for your visit! Complete with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the house is located in downtown Eastsound for easy walking access to shops, restaurants, and amazing views! There are also playgrounds, a running track, tennis courts, and a skate park also within a short walk.

Excellent house, location and amenities with ample space for a family. The hot tub is a nice nightly reprieve, and everything you need is within walking distance (Eastsound is the place to stay in Orcas, being central to/20 minutes from everything on the island, plus bring a small, cute town besides).

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything in town within walking distance and so many great seating options outside to enjoy the evenings. Would gladly stay here again!

Perfect home base for exploring Eastsound. Kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals and we enjoyed the hot tub! Joy was very responsive with all communication.

Great draft for all ages

Loved being walking distance to town and the kids toys were an unexpected plus for traveling with a 4 year old. Kitchen nicely outfitted.

Great spot in Eastsound

This was a wonderful location for us on the island for 2 families. We could walk to shops and restaurants and easily drive to other spots on the island. It was comfortable (nice beds and linens), the kitchen was well equipped, and the hot tub was nice as it was cool during our stay.

Perfect spot

The house was great!!! The hot tub was clean and big, linens were new and soft, kitchen well-stocked and you can’t beat the central location and being close to the school’s playground. We’ll probably stay there again when we visit grandma!

Close to Downtown

Great property within a short walk to downtown. We enjoyed the porch and swing, the hot tub, but hope to put the grill to use next time. The hills are very gentle, so it worked for the 5 year old as well as the 75 year old. The hide a bed was comfortable too! Thanks for the great extended weekend.

Paradise on Orcas Island

Beautiful little house graciously housed our family vacation. Lots of space and wonderful kitchen. Fun hot tub. We loved the host’s recommendations. We had so much fun!

Amazing Location and Beautiful Home

Joy’s home was the perfect spot for our group to stay at for a wedding in Eastsound. It was in close proximity to downtown so we were able to walk everywhere. Her home was so tidy and had everything we needed from keurig coffee to towels for the hot tub. We will most definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful & Restful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house on Orcas. It is walking distance to food, shopping, and parks for the kids. The house was cozy with plenty of room for our group of 6, and very clean and tidy. The kids loved the hot tubs and games available. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Great for gathering

Nice big place with a hot tub and a close walk to the village. Clean, comfortable, and a nice host to work with. Did not want for anything!

Very nice stay, very nice property!

There were 8 of us, 6 adults and two young children and there was plenty of room for all of us. Conveniently located in East Sound, we had everything within easy walking distance. Having a BBQ to use was very convenient and the spa was sooo nice. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs and the beds were very comfortable. I could see us returning again sometime.

Great home within walking distance of “downtown”

This home was perfect for our two family vacation. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the bakeries for breakfast and coffee, shopping as well as to the nearby playgrounds. It was a great homebase for island adventuring. It was clean and had plenty of all of the extras like towels, spices, toiletries and family board games. We had a slight problem with the hot tub and Joy had it taken care of right away. We had a great time and enjoyed the property!

Amazing!!!

Our trip was nothing but amazing. Three bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for my two best friends, my daughter and myself. The beds were so cozy and comfortable! We cooked all our meals and baked some goodies and the kitchen came with everything I needed. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub as my 4 year old is basically a fish. The walk to town was easy and so fun!! We will definitely come back and stay again in the future

Comfortable home in great location!

We had a lovely stay at Joy's home in Eastsound! We really enjoyed using the hot tub and being able to walk into town for shopping, dining, and exploring. It was also a quick drive to everything else we wanted to do on the island. The home layout was great for our family as well, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking implements. The area is also very quiet in the summer; once school is in session, the teachers all arrive via the gravel road early before 7am, so keep the bedroom windows facing the school closed if you have light sleepers who sleep in! All in all, a wonderful experience.

We had the best time at Joy’s house. The house and furnishings are so cozy and comfortable. My husband and I mentioned multiple times how well stocked the house is. It seems like Joy has thought of everything from charging stations and fans in every room to a first aid cabinet (which came in handy!) The location is fantastic, especially if you have a kiddo that loves playgrounds. The elementary school is just across the street and has an amazing playset. There is also a city park within walking distance. The hot tub and front porch swing were such a huge hit that our 5 year old was crying because he didn’t want to leave. We told him we didn’t either and would definitely try to return soon!

Perfect spot for mom and sisters of the bride with children

We had a lot of tasks to do for my daughters wedding on the waterfront. Her sisters, their husbands and children needed a family friendly home close to the beach and playgrounds. It was an extra blessing for us to be within walking distance to the grocery store. I was incredibly happy to soak my tired bones after the wedding. We were pretty tired and appreciative that the property owner let us adjust our stay by one more day. There were several areas outside to relax if one of us needed a break. Thanks again!

Great Orcas Island Location

Madrona House was the perfect “home base” for a long weekend getaway. The house was spacious, clean and relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfy. It was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Eastsound and the central location made it easy to explore both sides of the island. Our hosts were very accommodating (we arrived on Orcas early and were allowed an early check-in) and had great suggestions for local favorites. Easily one of the best places we have stayed!
