Nice bungalow, spacious and close to the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bungalow was nice and spacious. Calling it luxury its an overstatement. Pool was nice and big, but bit used.. restaurant served rly good food. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Road to bungalows from Queen’s highway is a disaster. Looks like it was bombarded. You can hardly call it a road.

Relaxing bungalow

This area of Eleuthera is slightly rustic with washed out rocky roads, so the entry was a bit unexpected. There are 3 bungalows on the property and they were tidied by a housekeeper daily. On the property is a bar/restaurant that is open approximately noon-9p. They sometimes have live music. They are closed on Mondays. We stopped at the grocery store for our breakfast supplies, as there is a fridge and coffee maker provided in the room. Lots of good restaurants within 15-20 min drive in either direction. Don’t miss the Governor’s Harbour Friday Fish Fry but get there early if you want fish (tho the bbq chicken is amazing) Great location in the center of the island

Fantastic bungalow on a great beach with nice pool

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was everything it was advertised.... The bungalow was exactly as pictured and the beach was gorgeous and the pool was great (and the on-site restaurant Pascals, is good and the bartender Sammy is fabulous).We enjoyed a very peaceful and relaxing stay.That being said, the devil is in the details. 1) the internet is slow. Like barely load a Google page slow. 2) the power goes out in Eleuthera a lot... while that’s not the property’s fault and they did provide a flashlight, it would have been good to know up front so we could bring our own flashlights and also plan for a 12hr outage. 3) the road down to the property is rough. We had a 4x4 and the day after it rained we couldn’t leave the road was so washed out. I feel like they should have warned us as the taxis won’t even drive down the driveway. The property itself is clean and safe and would stay here again if we felt they were honest about some things upfront!

Beautiful beach bungalow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Sky beach club bungalow 1. Starting with the booking process, and communication. It was super simple. We had great communication with Pam and Eleuthera vacation rentals. The bungalow is large. It had a small refrigerator that held all our refreshments (kalik’s and tequila), and some snacks that needed to be refrigerated. It also had a small coffee maker, but you have to bring your own coffee. There was a TV in the room that never got turned on. Bungalow one has a great patio that overlooks the pool at Pascal’s and the ocean. We were fortunate to have a great breeze the whole week, and did not have to worry about any bugs. The pool on property is available anytime you want. Even after Pascal’s closes you can use the pool. The walk to the beach is maybe 45 seconds, and an easy trail down there. One of the best Atlantic beaches in island. There is no room service, or anyone on property for the resort. However, we did not need that. There were a couple questions we had that I texted the property manager, Mekell, and he responded instantly. We went to Pascal’s for dinner a few nights and hung out at the bar with Sammy and juju every night. They really make you feel at home and makes your stay at Sky Beach Club even more special. As for the road down, yes, it is bumpy, but we had a low clearance vehicle that had no problem with it, just take your time. If you are going to explore any of the beaches on the island, this road is a lot like the ones you will be riding on. We would definitely stay at Sky Beach Club again. If we were going to stay in a bungalow, I would definitely choose bungalow one because it has the best view, however bungalow two and three also have good views. If you were looking for a five star, bougie resort, I don’t know if you’ll find that anywhere on the island. Come to Eleuthera to experience the culture and true island life. And location of Sky Beach Club is perfect, close to Governors H

Reviewer Comments: We loved the view of the beach and the rental was very clean but the road to get to the bungalow is awful and there’s no reception area... we arrived at night (there’s no street lights) and our cell service didn’t work right away so we were scrambling to figure out how check in. Finally, we figured out you had to call them and get the code to the lock box on the bungalow. Additionally, the Eleuthera government threw a party at the restaurant outside the bungalow and was blasting music late into the night. I had to call and ask when it was going to end because there was no shot we were falling asleep.

It was clean, spacious and accurate in terms of what the listing had described. We made use of the kitchen accessories that were provided (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker ect.) which was helpful when picking up food in town with a car that was easily rented. It was extremely relaxing with our own private patio and various kinds of lounge chairs while also offering a more social atmosphere at the restaurant and bar. While we had seen a review mentioning a slightly uncomfortable bed, we slept comfortably every night. The views were amazing from the property, we felt extremely safe and at-home and spent a lot of time (frequently without seeing another person) on the beautiful beach just steps from the bungalow, as well as floating in the pool and taking advantage of the swim-up bar. I could not have asked for a more friendly and accommodating staff on the property and restaurant/bar as well (Mekell who welcomed us with a seamless check-in, Sammy at the bar, Pascal and Francesca at the restaurant and the younger staff helping to take care of the house and ground-keepings) not to mention - the food and drink at Pascal's was delicious!! Pam from the rental team was also extremely helpful with my Q&A's via email. While there is so much of the world to see this would be a spot I would return, knowing that there is such an amazing experience to be had.

Better than we imagined

We went to Eleuthera to get away, relax, and refresh. Sky Beach Club was the perfect getaway. Our bungalow overlooking the infinity pool was close to the bar and restaurant as well. Great food, great drinks, and very laid back. The beach was so private we walked and never saw another soul. Our room was just like the pictures and Cee Cee was a wonderful host. We discovered that staying halfway down the island was perfect.

Beautiful Location

Pics are accurate and the bungalow was very nice. Good a/c bedding and linens. Bathroom was awesome. Great view over the pool to the ocean. Good location just outside of Governors Harbor. The the waves are too rough the swimming and snorkeling was great. The bar, pool and beach area need attention and the road coming in was in terrible shape. Bring your bug spray!

You can do as little or as much as you want on Eleuthera. The island people are very friendly. The Sky Beach Club has great staff ( C.C. of guest relations and Sammy the bartender). Tara and Matt Simmons (Eleuthera Vacation Rentals) also made us feel welcome before we even got to the island.

The one bed casita was clean, updated and offered great ocean views and breezes. It came with a mini fridge and coffee maker for convenience. There is a very good restaurant on property next to the pool open for lunch and dinner so when we wanted to stay put we just a few steps and enjoyed their services. The property manager was very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions.

Paradise Found!

The property is beautifully set on the Atlantic side of the island with amazing views of the ocean from almost every angle, The poolside villas are awesome and have all the amenities for those who are looking to stay for 2 days or 2 weeks. We were there on the off-season so we practically had the resort to ourselves! From the gorgeous infinity pool, with swim-up access to Sammy's Bar (best Pina Coladas EVER) to the onsite restaurant, Pasqual's, everything was perfect. A bonus is having CC (the onsite guest services liaison) available to answer questions, point in the right direction, etc... She was hugely helpful with everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
