This Kiawah Island lovely cottage has a cozy feel, and has a tropical, wooded view from the perfectly situated screened porch. Enjoy the screened porch to plan your day over coffee or wind down after a full day of activities. Dining for 6. This cottage has everything you’ll need to get your special vacation underway. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Free wifi.

Kiawah's amazing beach is a short 6-7 minute walk away and you also have access to the Inlet Cove community pool (open seasonally).

I am very sorry this guest was not happy. We strive to make everyone's vacation a pleasant one. I wish they had contacted us during their stay so we could have sent out the cleaning crew again and address their concerns. This was a girls trip, and overall we had a nice time enjoying the beautiful area. The house was comfortable, although the cleanliness could have been a little better. Most of the attractions and sights we wanted to visit were about a 25-mile drive each way from the property, which was partly due to my not researching the location more beforehand. The roads in the area are mostly two-lane highways, so traffic can move slowly during rush hour. There are also quite a few rules for staying at the property, but it’s clear they help maintain the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and keep the area well cared for.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your time at this Inlet Cove cottage on Kiawah. It is a wonderful place for a Kiawah vacation, but it is not ideal for a Charleston vacation. It is great to spend a day or two exploring the Charleston area while enjoying the beach. But it is not ideal if you want to head into Charleston each day. I apologize for any issues with the cleanliness. We do our best and if you had contacted us we would have addressed any issues immediately.

This house was as described - perfect location for bike access to the town (fresh fields), the beach, and the resort (Night Heron Park). The house was well stocked, and perfect for our family of 5. Really, we didn't even have to use the car as you can bike most everywhere you'd need to go (bike rentals are HIGHLY recommended). We swam in the pool, watched sunsets from the docks in the community, at the beach, and from the nearby marina, spent days on the private beach, and saw lots of nature (alligators, dolphins, birds, pelicans). We also biked to the resort park which has daily activities going on for families. This was a great stay - to the point my kids asked if we could live there (if only). We were able to buy groceries and cook at the house, as well as do our laundry throughout our stay. We also felt really safe in the gated community - lots of families, and secure. 10/10 - DO book this property, and have the most magical family vacation.

Great Getaway

Enjoyed our stay for the Kiawah Island Marathon. Very nice location and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved the beach location near Captain Sam's Spit where the dolphins feed. Would definetly stay again.

Quiet and spacious accommodation

We had a great stay on Kiawah at this accommodation. The directions were thorough, and the location gives great access to the pool and beach. We rented bikes and had a great time biking around the island - and down to see the feeding dolphins! Thanks!

One of the BEST ever!

Far exceeded our expectations… not just the well maintained Cottage but Kiawah Island area in general. Clean, neat, well furnished and secure…we LOVED our time in this space and the surrounding area. We will be coming back for more.

Perfect in every way!

We had the best stay in Kiawah thanks to this wonderful cottage in Inlet Cove. It was spotless, roomy, close to the beach and pool, and a top notch dock area to watch the gorgeous sunset over the inlet. My family of five had the best week! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation that has a little something for everyone! 😊 We can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I spent a long weekend relaxing, going to the pool, beach and cute town close by. We loved the neighborhood and it was easy to bike everywhere! Thank you!

Quiet and comfortable

Very quiet, especially at night, and being a gated neighborhood, kids are safe riding bikes in the streets. A short walk or bide ride to the beach or river.

Family getaway

We had a great time in Kiawah. Our host was very responsive and helpful when we reached out. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the dock at the Inlet Cove community pool, bike rides, and the beach. Everything was in very close distance and very easy to navigate, even with a 3 year old. We would definitely recommend this property.

Paradise Perfected

Our family of 5 were more than comfortable in this 3 bedroom 3 bath cottage. The cottage was extremely clean, well stocked, and roomy. The short 5 minute stroll to the beach follows the path through lush foliage. This was our first visit to Kiawah Island. It will not be our last!

Well decorated and good location

This cottage was at a great location....eashy access to pool and beach. It was decorated well and kitchen had all we needed. Main drawback for us was it was a little more dated than pictures showed.....heavy older sliding doors and could hardly see through them to screened porch. We really enjoyed the week however

Relaxing vacation

We had a great stay at 81 Inlet Cove. It was very relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and liked that each bedroom had a separate bathroom. The pool area was nice and big. A short stroll to the beach and pool. Susie was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Would recommend to others and hope to return soon.

Inlet Cove Cottage

Highly recommend staying here. 5 minute walk or 1 minute bike ride to the beach. Community pool was very quick bike ride and very nice to relax and enjoy. Beautiful sunset from community dock on Kiawah River. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. Great communication with the property manager. We had no issues at all and enjoyed our week at Kiawah.

Kiawah Week

The property has been updated nicely. New furniture, new appliances, new carpet throughout. It was clean and spacious. Definitely recommend bikes with a cart, makes the short travel to the beach much easier. The property manager Susie did an outstanding job making sure we had a great week! We will definitely go back and would use them again.

Quiet Getaway

We had a fabulous time biking around the island and made it to the beach 3 different days to watch the sunrise! Kiawah beaches are hard packed sand so you can even bike down the beach to the tip of the island. Great place to stay if you want to get away and enjoy a laid-back vacation, traveling by bike or walking on all of the paths. As a family of 4 we LOVED the 3 full bathrooms - no waiting to get ready in the morning! Outside they have a small outdoor shower that we used to wash all of the seashells and other beach treasures we found. The bike rack was a plus easy to keep them stored and there is a short cut out the back to the bike trail, so you can get on your way without having to go around your car.

We purchased our cottage on Kiawah Island in summer of 2005, and I began renting it on VRBO during the weeks we were not able to enjoy Kiawah ourselves. In 2007, a friend asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner. I now help rent more than 25 other properties on Kiawah Island in addition to our cottage. I look forward to helping you plan your vacation - Susie Oringel

The Inlet Cove neighborhood has a great location in West Beach Village. This cottage is a short walk to the beach or the community pool. We love walking to the Inlet Cove community dock and watching the sunset over the Kiawah river. We sometimes see dolphins swim by as we sit in the Adirondack chairs at the Inlet Cove community dock. It is a great way to watch the sunset!

This Inlet Cove cottage has 3 bathrooms that is somewhat unique. Most Inlet Cove cottages only have 2 bathrooms. This 3rd bathroom makes it more comfortable for most of our guests.
