Nice, quiet place to relax

This condo is on the East end of the island so not much traffic on the beach. The pool got quiet at night. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach so my 80 year old mother could not do that. The condo was well-stocked so we were able to cook all of our meals there.

Overall property was clean. Carpet in bedrooms was quite dirty with stains. Shower drain in master is not level and hurts when stepped on. Disappointed we did not get the same benefits as the owner with pool towels. Expect to be at a home away from home, but needed to bring extra towels, blankets and etc means bigger suitcases when flying. Bedrooms were warm with rest of areas colder. Furniture on balcony was old and not like the images. Very limited staff, pool umbrellas were blowing away and guest had to help other guests. Overall good time with family with the pool and beach.

Issues

It’s an OK condo. The living room furniture is questionable - maybe just old but almost looks dirty. 2 of the 3 lightbulbs in master bathroom were burned out and there were NO extra rolls of toilet paper left in the condo…again it was very OK but not sure I would rent again.

Stay was pretty nice. The unit we stayed in could use some minor work, but overall a good experience. If their had been a fan to use for sleeping that would've been a nice addition.

Our stay was great. The location and easy access to the beach was exactly what we needed to recharge. The room was missing a few things (towels & pillows) but not enough to ruin our stay.

Nice & Relaxing

Our stay was clean and quiet. Had the shower door leak like some mentioned. My son was able to orientate the shower head to minimize after the first incident. As others mentioned, bring your own pool / beach towels. Also recommend bringing some extra dish soap and such. Condo is clean and nice. Convenient to the pool It was nice to be able to take the stairs down to the pool level and beach. Would stay here again!

Quick visit to Pike's Peak

New property and enjoyed the style of the cottage. It is in a convenient driving location to several attractions, restaurants, etc. Great place for a party of three or less.

Perfect little beach getaway!

Clean, close to beach, great pool, and convenient location - definitely will stay again! Just remember to BYO beach towels - the building formerly provided them but now do not!

Great location

We stayed here during a girls trip with kids to get away before school starts. The unit isn’t over the top with extra bells and whistles but it was comfortable and met our needs. Cold ac, comfortable beds, easy and early check in, we will likely stay here again.

Beautiful

I love staying at the Galvestonian, and this unit was beautiful! Everything was renovated, the amenities were fantastic, and the location is very close to town despite having the private beach feel.

Absolutely wonderful place

I recommended this stay ……the beach and condo were beautiful. I will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The parking was easy and there were no crowds, it was extremely comfortable. I would recommend going anytime outside of summer if you like it quiet and all of the amenities available. Great place to destress.

Perfect beach vacation!

Fantastic! Zero complaints, except a little hang up during check in, where our key wasn’t programmed correctly, and we had to wait on maintenance to let us in. Otherwise a perfect beach vacation! Loved it, and will return.

Weekend Getaway

Planned a spring Break weekend getaway for the family. Place was very pleasant and clean. Electrical outlets may need updating. Some did not work and others were sketchy. Super glad we brought our own pool towels because we needed them and the room did not have any. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. Pool and hot tub were fantastic.

Quiet, charming, gorgeous view

This rental had everything we needed and hoped for, and the view from most of the condo was of the ocean and the tops of palm trees. It overlooks the pool from the second floor and had lots of fun things to do (heated pool and hot tub, games, boogie boards, beach chairs, buckets). The beach is a short walk from the pool deck and the beach seems set apart from the typical beach traffic. It was very clean and lovely, and the whole set up was great. I would stay in this rental again.
