Very nice. Responsive owners. Left our family welcome basket which was appreciated. Minimal asks on check out with regards to cleaning, also nice. Pool right across the street, family games in garage. We had a great time!

Excellent stay

We had a great time! Our favorite part was being able to sit on the screened in back porch. The condo was perfectly stocked with anything we could’ve wanted and needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place

The townhouse was in a nice neighborhood with a great pool. It was a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Plenty of room for everybody in this townhouse.

Great rental for spending a few days on the Island

We had a great stay and have fallen in love with the island. This property was at the entrance to the island so there was occasional traffic. The parking is minimal, luckily we only brought one vehicle.

Lovely refuge

We had a relaxing stay. Pet friendly neighborhood. Nicely decorated home felt open and comfortable. Wonderful master bedroom with full length and deep bath tub. Overall, an excellent experience.

Enjoyed the Island Life

This VRBO was perfect for our long weekend getaway from the cold and snow of the midwest. We explored St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island learning the history and taking in the beautiful wildlife and ocean breezes. The hot tub was great to unwind from a busy day and the accommodations were 5-star. Everything was clean and just perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Paradise on St Simons Island

What a beautiful townhouse! The host was so gracious and friendly . The home was stocked with everything we needed for our month long stay. They welcomed our dogs with a welcome basket and us too! The neighbors were so friendly, I wouldn’t mind living here year round :)

Honeymoon

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were on our honeymoon, but would also be perfect for families. Washing machine was not working properly but otherwise no issues. No discount offered for lack of working washing machine. Loved the hot tub on the patio and location was great.

Nice condo, a short drive to town or beach

The condo was nice, about ten minutes to the beach and five to town. The owner was super responsive and left us a little welcome basket. Overall, it was a great stay. Unfortunately, the condo association did not let the owner in know the pool was being acid washed and was unavailable during our stay. Instead of the pool, went to East Beach which was great! I look forward to checking out her other listings in St. Augustine.

renter beware of accuracy of descriptions and photos

i use VRBO often enough to trust the owners for their descriptions, as my wife and I look at details of the photos to make our decision. We chose all our VRBO bookings by our needs, and the accuracy of these photos are way off. First i have never left a negative review on any VRBO property, but felt i needed to respond, i could have rented something for much less. 1. The sink was full of mop water and the trash was not taken out from cleaning when we arrived. 2. AS the photos go: there is no Pac Man as we thought our grandson would love that. 3.The front lights on the property were burnt out so we returned to a dark property each night. 4. There is no TV in the master bedroom, the power cord is their but no TV. 5. The furniture pictured in the living room is not there. The couch, if you can call it that, could not even fit for my to small daughters to sit upright on. We could not enjoy a family night to watch a movie, we had to sit on the hard wooden floors or get a chair from the kitchen table. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. 6. The hot tub took two days to heat up to the correct temp, we left the cover on it. Once it reached temps we did use the hot tub. 7. Lawn service came at 630 am on friday, not the owners issue. 8. Front bedrooms need curtains or shades as it is bright light as soon as the sun comes up. Very dissatisfied and disappointed, When people base their choices and rely on accuracy of the photos i felt compelled to respond so someone else won't waste their money.

Settled right in

We had a great stay! The house was spacious, well appointed, provided beach towels and other beach supplies, which came in handy! Kids loved having their own rooms at the property and we loved not sharing a bathroom with them! Lots of storage space (we like to unpack)! The hot tub was a nice bonus and we enjoyed using the community pool (even picked up salad to feed the turtles). Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on St. Simon’s Island!

Extended Stay

We had a great time during our extended stay, extremely comfortable and well appointed to make our time away from home as comfortable as possible. Was great for kids and an easy walk to the pool, where they spent a good part of each day. Easy drive in to restaurants and necessities, as well as to East Beach. Host was extremely responsive and helpful in getting us set up and making sure we had everything we needed.

Decent Rental

The property is a good property and the owner is very nice and kind. However to be truthful, the property is not fenced, the neighborhood is. So all backyards are shared pretty much. I did experience a situation while renting here - during a day while it rained and stormed, my friends and I left our dogs caged in the rental only to be messaged by the property owner that the dogs were noisy during that day. Then, the following day a note was posted on the door which appeared to be a screenshot of an email exchange between the HOA and the property owner. However the conversation wasn't regarding noise during the day, it was about noise at night and that quiet hours are 10PM-8AM. That situation was extremely confusing and contradicting, not sure if this came from the property owner or just a nosey neighbor looking for something to complain about. The dogs made no noises at night, but to be warned about dogs barking during a day full of thunderstorms seemed a bit annoying at the time. However the property is clean, the owner is accommodating and was friendly during our interactions, she even left us snacks and trips guides which is more than most owners would do. And the property came stocked with supplies and towels just in case if we were unprepared, which is also more than what some owners would do. I have no doubt that the owner is genuine and kind hearted, but I do suspect the property has some nosey neighbors looking to cause a fuss unfortunately. In terms of the description, besides the property not being gated, all rooms didn't have TVs which went against the description but that is a miniscule detail, when you're on vacation you're on vacation, not spending time in the rental the whole time. My friends and I all agree that we would visit again.

Saint Simon Getaway

The townhouse was perfect and I would highly recommend! It was very clean and beautifully decorated! The tub in the master bedroom was great for soaking! Hot tub was a plus and walking distance from the community pool. The owner really thought of everything as the home was fully stocked with anything you would need. The owner was very friendly and accommodating!! I would not hesitate to stay again. We had a wonderful time!!
