Come enjoy yourself in this one-of-a-kind professionally decorated historic Wasserhaus- Helen's Water Tank House on the Chattahoochee. It was built in 1967 and served as a fire reserve. Since the conversion of the Wasserhaus, we have been interviewed by Forbes magazine and received all amazing reviews, earning a 5.0 rating from various booking platforms.

This breathtaking rental is located in the charming German-style town of (Alpine) Helen, Georgia.

Relax on the riverfront of the beautiful Chattahoochee River or take a short five minute walk to all of the amazing shops, Go-Karts, waterslides, Fish, tube, raft, kayak, hike, explore, relax or enjoy everything the city offers. Numerous wineries, restaurants, events and activities within walking distance will keep everyone entertained

Great host. Very quick responses to any questions. Super cool, unique house. Absolutely perfect location, couldn’t get a better location. Tubing is right next door, fun park directly across the street. Perfect for a family vacation with kids.

Relax in Helen

Cozy home on the river right in town with live music across the river. Loved this place and will definitely stay again. Great for family getaways.

Excellent home for a weekend getaway to Helen, Georgia. The home was comfortable - couches and other furniture were great to sink into and relax. We enjoyed the location on the river because it made it very convenient to walk into the downtown Helen area and less than a ten min drive to zip lining, national parks and amazing antique stores. Beautifully decorated and a novel remodel of an old water tank made our stay unique for sure! We slept soundly listening to the river, watching tubers float past and enjoying the live music from the restaurant across the water. Our morning cup of coffee on the back porch was peaceful and serene. We definitely would recommend this house for a one-of-a-kind experience.

Lovely property on a great spot of the creek. Sat outside by the fire pit and listened to lovely live music across the creek every night. Can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed it very much close to everything we love to do. It was a different experience it was in an old water tower and they decorated it beautifully we loved it very much.

Amazing property

We had such a great time staying at this amazing property. This unique home has so much character and amazing views right on the river. The location is perfect and walking distance to everything downtown Helen has to offer.

Perfect location and great house

My family, my sister’s family, my parents and our children had a wonderful time staying at Wasserhaus. The location was perfect and the house was very nice with plenty of room for the eleven of us. Definitely recommend for a Helen, GA vacation.

Awesome Place

Fun Stay in Helen

We had a wonderful stay at the Wasserhaus with friends. The accommodations were perfect the 6 of us, the rooms were nice and clean. It sit right on the Chattahoochee River and great walking distance to town of Helen. Thanks Stephen for sharing your home with us!!

Entertainment for days

No need to go anywhere just grab a cold drink and be entertained by the tubbers going by in the hundreds. Great place and a super nice host.

Great Birthday trip for our Teen!!

Our teens Loved the water tower!! They could tub down the river anytime and walk down to Helen! Best birthday weekend get away! Host were very nice! We will be coming back to stay next year.

Wonderful Weekend at a Wasserhaus

We had a fabulous stay at this fun and unique property. It was beautifully decorated-straight out of a magazine. The accessories and kitchen tools are so cute! Would definitely stay there again! 10/10 would recommend

Off the charts nice equivalent to a 4 star hotel. Owner stopped by he was very kind and helpful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else from now on.

Awesome quarters! Beautiful interior! We enjoyed hanging in the house watching the tubers.

Hosts were wonderful to work with. We will definitely go back. They let us use their tubes which saved us money. And it's an easy walk to betty's store.
