Best vacation ever!

That's what my 13 year old said as we left Costa Rica! A lot of this sentiment came because of the amazing condo we stayed at. The pool is just steps from the patio and the ocean is just a few steps more. It is an easy drive into town, but a walk would have been possible as well. The property manager was very attentive and we felt very safe. My family of 5 would love to return one day!

This property is amazing. Had everything that my family needed to enjoy Jaco and Costa Rica. Steps away from the pool and just a few more steps to an amazing beach. The property manager was equally amazing. From suggestions on where to shop, to setting up tours for our family she was there to help when ever we needed it. Already planning our return trip :-)

Gorgeous property with incredible views!

My family and I recently stayed at Tres Regalos for the second time, and I could not more highly recommend this property. The units are gorgeous, clean and well decorated. The pool is within close proximity to all units and is maintained with excellence. I felt very safe as there are guards at the gated entry as well as in the center courtyard at all times. All units are within close proximity to gorgeous Jaco Beach. The owners of the unit are incredibly nice and attentive to maintaining the property as well as attending to guests' needs. We had such a lovely stay, and I highly recommend this unit!

Perfect Vacation

We loved our time in Costa Rica. The apartment had plenty of room and everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The security guards at the property were friendly and made sure they knew our names and greeted us every day. The apartments location was perfect. it was within driving distance to several National Parks. We also enjoyed beach days since the beach is right next to the apartment. The deck opened up to the pool which the kids enjoyed. Right by the pool is a bbq that the security guards started for us and we grilled for our Christmas dinner. The apartment was clean and the fridge was stocked with some treats when we arrived.

Pleasantly surprised to see as advertised

This unit is absolutely wonderful. Direct pool access and view and yet just steps away from the beach. Plenty of room and beds to accommodate our entire family, and have never seen a unit stocked with such an abundance of pool toys and games for the kiddos. There were boogy boards, inflatables, crayons, board games and even two pack n plays which were a pleasant surprise considering we brought twin infants. Property manager was kind enough to have air conditioner and fans on prior to our arrival which was uncommon, pleasant surprise. Highly recommend for all travelers, but especially recommend for those with children.

A great condo and overall experience

The condo itself was nicely decorated and clean with all the amenities that we needed. There is obviously thought and care put into it. The complex was well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Luis the security guard was a great Spanish tutor:) Our unit had kid friendly games and pool/beach toys that always make the kids’ experience that much better - and therefore ours too! Celine the property manager was quick to respond to our inquiries and the owner was wonderful to book with when we were having difficulty with the website. I would certainly return! We never got the dishwasher to actually wash our dishes - but other than that everything worked great. Thanks for the great stay!

Tres Regalos - truly a gift for anyone who visits

This beautifully decorated condo will surpass your expectations. We spent a week enjoying Jaco and the wonderful amenities of Tres Regalos. The salt water pool is just a few steps from the back patio. We used the grill next to the swim up bar and cooked out one night. Wild macaws and iguanas abound. The beach is a short walk over the black sand dunes. The condo is located at the edge of Jaco's inlet, so you have an opportunity to explore the cliffs and jungle on the point to the North, or you can turn South and walk toward all of the surfing. Croc's Casino is next door, which means you have access to drinks by the pool - definitely an unexpected bonus. The condo is stocked with everything you need, from games, to utensils and plenty of high quality towels & linens. There is even a washing machine. This is a great find with delightful neighbors and management.

Loved everything about this vacation home. Everything you need is here. Quality home. Just steps from the beach. Wonderful security. Has beach towels and toys. Comfortable linens. Waled out to watch the sunset every evening. Strolled the beach with coffee every morning. Very stocked kitchen as well as thought items in the fridge to get you started. Hated to leave. Celine greeted us upon our arrival. Her restaurant suggestions were spot on. She gave us a large map and circled the highlights. Very helpful. She arranged surf lessons for my daughter. She helped us with transport to and from Airport as well as a tour to the rainforest. Daniel was an amazing guide. Uber is reliable and usually around 2 dollars. There is a wonderful restaurant as you go out the front gate an go left.It is about 350 feet.

Great location away from crowds

It’s a very nice property, the location was excellent. We felt very secure with security of the property. The permanents tenemts invited us to New Year’s party very friendly. The fireworks were spectacular. Beautiful sunsets nearly every night on the beach and from the condo. The rental was over all nice and clean. My daughter felt the sheets and particularly the pillow cases needed better cleaning. We greatly appreciated the snacks and a few groceries that greeted us in our unit after some flight delays and ride from the airport. We also greatly appreciated our transportation to and from the airport- arranged by property owner and manager. We were all very glad we arrived that way versus renting a car in San Jose The refrigerator failed while we staying there but was promptly replaced by Celine the property manager. We had a few problems with the air conditioning shutting down, and we did not turn the thermostat too low the ac unit condenser located outside front door was very noisy and that might have something to do with the ac problems..the plumbing under kitchen sink and or dish washer leaked and appears has been doing so for a while. We put a larger bowl under the leak and emptied it once in a while. We quit using the dish washer as we thought it was agrivating it.Celine will follow up after our stay. Over all we really enjoyed our stay and the property. Like so many other rentals it must be difficult to keep up with maintenance of pluming and mechanical systems.

Perfect family spring break vacation!!

We needed a last minute vacation for our family of 5 (2 teens and 1 tween) This was absolutely perfect, from the condo to the people that own and take care of it! The condo and location were exactly as pictured and described. Michele is a great communicator and before we arrived she had sent me an email with what I call “the handbook of Jaco” we were able to navigate an area completely new to us with ease because of it! She had also arranged airport pickup that was also perfect (he stopped along the way and showed us local places in between San Jose and Jaco like we were on a tour!) When we arrived early (11:30am) Celine met us at the gate and showed us around and gave us more wonderful info! The condo also had goodies for everyone in the family (chips, juice, coffee, and beautiful flowers everywhere). The security officers were also the best, so helpful and always present. You can see the pride they take in their job. Celine gave us such great info that we were able to book excursions and feel confident that we were choosing the best ones for our family! We choose to do the CoastaCat island excursion and the waterfall atv tour, both were wonderful and a great memory for our entire family! The town of Jaco and everything you need is walking distance or a very short cab ride. We loved being so close but also having a quiet beach to enjoy together. Costa Rica is an amazing country with wonderful people, our experience in Jaco was even more wonderful because we choose to rent from Michele! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We will definitely be back!

Ideal location...great people

Just returned from 12 absolutely wonderful days at this condo. It was a perfect fit for us and we loved how close the beach is (only steps) and the access to the pool is ideal (even less steps). We had family, with several young adults, staying right next door and they were always on the go: goofing around on the beach, boogie boarding, walking to town (short walk or a $2 cab ride), or planning excursions (which can be set up through either Celine, the people at the gatehouse, online or while walking around downtown). When we arrived, Celine met us at the condo with a welcome package including milk, eggs, avocado, mango, beer and wine which was awesome after an exhausting day of travel. Celine was always available to tend to our needs and offer suggestions for activities. Attention to detail or what? Lovely units...very lovely people. Always enjoyed chatting with Celine and Anne Catherine (who just happened to be there...lucky us!) There is NO hustle and bustle at this complex but a casino next door which can provide some of this and Clarita's which is entertaining in itself (Bucket of beer for $10 and too many interesting signs to keep you chuckling). Quite a variety of entertainment (all kinds...stories from the kids) can be found downtown though. We met some great people around the pool where most gathered "sometime during the day" to share stories of their adventures and give ideas for new ones. Walked the beach every morning for sunrise and enjoyed amazing sunsets from the beach or even the patio (yes the patio!) every evening. Photo ops everywhere...iguanas poolside, macaws in the trees, toads on the patio...on and on! Taco Bar was a favourite for the kids, Morales for ribs, great food at the Wishbone...too many options...even cooked at home a few times. Thank you sooo much for everything! We will be back!

Amazing Stay

This property is a gem. It’s quiet & away from town, but close enough to walk to everything. We saw Scarlett macaws on the property! A walk to monkey beach was beautiful & we actually saw tons of birds and we got to see white face monkeys as well. Celine gave us great tips and everyone on the property was profesional & friendly. We had a great time in Jaco!

Beautiful condo steps from the beach!

We decided to escape the cold weather of Philadelphia for Christmas this year and head to Jaco Beach. Everything was perfect. Celine organized a driver from the airport for us which is very helpful since the airport is a little overwhelming with many questionable people offering rides. When we arrived at the condo Celine was there to meet us. It was an effortless process. There was even a cute light up Christmas tree set up which was a nice touch! The condo itself had lots of towels, kitchen amenities and a washer/dryer (which is all in Spanish). I never quite figured out the washer/dryer. Lol! There are beach chairs and a cooler which we found to be very helpful. The security at the front gate and at the beach entrance was superb. Don’t get me wrong, I never felt unsafe. It’s just common to have security guards at hotels/condos in Jaco. We walked to town several nights for dinner and then took a cab back (about $2). We tried to get Uber but could never find an available driver. It seems like taxis are much more prevelant. The town had grown a lot in the past 10 years since our last visit. Overall I felt more comfortable on the beach since the police patrol the beach and the amount of theft on the beach has dropped drastically. Traffic was heavier than it was our last visit but still very manageable. Overall, we were very pleased with the location and the value of the condo. I would definitely recommend staying here! Pure Vida!

Another wonderful 6 weeks in paradise

Thanks Anne-Catherine for providing a beautiful accommodation in unit 103s at Tres Regalos again for us to enjoy. The unit itself is very well equipped , both in the kitchen with appliances, dishes etc. as well as plenty of towels, both beach and bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the place is quiet. Celine the property manager is readily available if needed. Thanks for the upgrade to the cable tv as we could get many more English channels. We love the salt water pool and also walking the beach which is on our doorstep. This is a perfect place to relax and read, go on a trip to many of the sites in CR, or take a walk into town of Jaco that has great restaurants and shopping. A taxi ride to town is a few dollars so we have never felt a need to rent a car. We love CR and Tres Regalos so we will be back next year. A plus as well is that we meet many friends that come back each year and also new ones so it is like home away from home. We love it!

Beautiful condo with a great location

We had an amazing time and our condo was very beautiful and clean! It is in a superb location in the complex which is very quaint and quiet! Easy walk to town, the beach and most of the tours! Great owner who is very thoughtful and conscientious about your needs and stay! The property manager was very helpful and attentive! The weather was beautiful every day and the staff at this complex were so welcoming and friendly! We definitely will be back and highly recommend you stay here!!

A first class experience

Thanks Anne-Catherine for another wonderful time at Tres Regalos. Our time again was a wonderful six weeks of relaxation, as we enjoy the condo itself, which is decorated lovely, as well as well as the enjoyable salt water pool right outside our door. We have made many friends there as the size is conducive to meeting people. The atmosphere is friendly including the workers around the property. The condo itself is very well equipped with proper kitchen supplies etc. Thanks to Celine, your property manager, who replies to any questions quickly. Also we had arrived late so there was some supplies for breakfast the next morning. Oh and a bottle of wine. Thanks Celine! When we arrived home, we were already ready to go back. Lol, See you next year Tres Regalos and we can’t wait.

Perfect place to stay in jaco...

Last day here at tres regalos jaco... we rented this 3 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront condo from Anne catherine and managed by Celine and have only good things to say and wonderful memories. Location at the north end is perfect to start daily low tide beach walks from ( 4 km each way )... unit is perfect, ground floor, walk out to nice quiet pool, safe and secure complex. The unit is nicely furnished, great a/c, comfortable beds and fully furnished kitchen. If anything missing? Ask Celine and it will arrive promptly. Jaco has all the restaurants, shopping and nightlife you want ( crocs hotel / casino right next door ) but if you want a eat in holiday there are good grocery stores in jaco and a $3 can ride back to condo. The place, owner, manager and grounds staff / security are a 10/10, it was been a pleasure to spend the past month here.

Tres Regalos condo 103S

My family and I stayed at this condo for 3 nights. We are from Costa Rica and have stayed at high end condos in other beaches before, like Flamingo and Conchal beaches which are very luxurious and expensive, so we know our way around this country. I do have to say that Tres Regalos 103S can be perfectly compared to these other high end condos but much cheaper. The place is very well kept. It is very quiet but close to town for the ones that wish parties and noise. I must add that Jaco has really improved as well offering all kinds of entertainment for all ages. Tres Regalos 103S was decorated beautifully, the size was great, extremely clean and the staff was super nice. Celine was wonderful and Miguel was too. This condo is a definite yes! Highly recommended! Beach front which in Costa Rica is a must!

Magnifique appartement familial et fonctionnel

Nous avons trouvé ce joyau à Jaco, et notre famille de 5 a profité d’une expérience inoubliable d’une semaine dans cet appartement Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par la gentille et dynamique responsable, Céline, qui parle parfaitement l’anglais, le français et l’espagnol. Nous avons eu la bonne surprise de trouver un frigo bien garni avec de quoi boire et manger afin de nous éviter de sortir au supermarché dès notre arrivée. Celine nous a guidé dans nos choix d’activités à faire sur Jaco et les environs. Elle nous a également aidé dans toute la logistique, pour savoir où faire nos courses, où louer une voiture etc. L’appartement est absolument magnifique. Il est très bien meublé, et est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La literie est super confortable. Pour cuisiner, il y a absolument tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin, ce qui est très appréciable quand on voyage en famille. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue magnifique depuis cet appartement. Il y avait la piscine en premier plan, et la plage en arrière plan. Génial. Voyager avec trois enfants en bas âge n’est jamais facile, mais cet appartement est parfait pour les familles. Nous avons adoré le fait que cet appartement soit au rez-de-chaussée, et que nous puissions ouvrir la porte de la terrasse extérieure privative et attenante afin de laisser les enfants courir à la piscine juste à quelques mètres. Nous pouvions les surveiller sans problème. Dans l’appartement, il y a des jouets de plage pour les enfants, des bouées et des brassards pour la piscine, des jeux de société, des livres pour enfants… Nous avons adoré visiter les différents parcs nationaux, marcher le long de la plage, nous baigner dans la piscine à eau salée, dîner dans de très bons restaurants. Ce fut un séjour très relaxant, et facile avec les enfants. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter, et vous le recommandons !!

Beautiful and functional family beach condo

We found this gem of a condo in Jaco, and were thrilled with our week long experience as a family of 5. We arrived and were extremely well greeted by the kind and energetic unit manager, Céline, who speaks english, french and spanish perfectly. She had prepared a welcome package with food and drink essentials so that we could wait until the following day before heading out to the grocery store. She was able to guide us in our choice of activities in and around Jaco, as well as help us with the logistics, like where to buy groceries, or rent a car. The condo is absolutely beautiful. It is very well furnished and decorated. The bedding is super comfortable. It has everything you could need to cook any kind of family meal, which was really nice. We absolutely loved the view from the condo. We had the pool in the foreground, and the beach in the background. Amazing. Traveling with three small children is never easy, but this condo is perfect for families. We loved being on the ground floor, and being able to open the porch door and let the kids run out to the pool and play. We could watch over them very easily. In the condo, there are beach toys for the children, toddler swim vests and pool floaties, board games, children's books… We loved visiting the various national parks, walking along the beach, swimming in the salt water pool, dinning out. It was a very relaxing stay, and easy with the kids. I would go again any day, and definitely recommend !

Great location for our children and Grandchildren

Beautiful Comfortable 3 bedroom Condominium for our Family to stay in. Two 20 year olds found plenty to do with the beach and happenings in Jaco. The selection of quality restaurants nearby is fantastic. The parents with a two small children spent time at the pool just outside the porch and at the beach steps away. This condo made for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Celine, the property manager, was friendly and very attentive to all of our needs and always available. The refrigerator had a bottle of Wine, a couple Mangos and a dozen eggs for our use , shows the commitment to the customers If you plan on a trip to Jaco Beach this is the Condominium to stay in. Our family will definitely return to this unit

Perfect for a family of 4

Excellent choice for our family with 2 teenage boys (16 & 19). Close enough to all the Jaco action for the boys & far enough away for Mom and Dad :). Great set up on the ground floor for access to the pool & BBQ & beach. We'll equipped for cooking at home. Loved the sun screens on the patio. Nice small friendly complex. Make sure you meet Alejandro (office on top of the gatehouse) he's very helpfull with any requests you may have, any issues with the unit, reservations, shuttles, advice etc. Good value for the money Tours recommended: Costa Rica waterfall adventures, Rainforest zip lining, Tortuga surf school

Excellent week at the beach

We had a luxurious week of hanging at the beach. The apartment was perfectly located, especially for a family with young kids: access to the pool and beach could not be beaten. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for our needs. Jacó was an great distance - not too close to be noisy, but great proximity for buying groceries/going out etc. Most of the other guests around the pool were English speakers, and there were some locals - we enjoyed learning from them about their country. Pura vida!

My husband Jeff and I love the warm climate and beaches. We have traveled all over but our most favorite place is Costa Rica. People always ask us why that is. We love that every part of CR is different and so much of the land is protected and not over developed like other places. Jungles and rainforests are our favorite. And the wildlife of course! We also enjoy the people in CR who have taught us so much about their country. We have brought many friends and family to CR to share it with them. We loved it so much we decided to purchase a place there in Jaco. There are many fabulous places in CR but Jaco beach is a growing bustling little beach town and its proximity to San Jose airport makes it a convenient home base! Pura Vida

Tres Regalos is on the north end of Jaco beach. It is a small community with a very peaceful and tranquil vibe. You can help but feel relaxed there. You are steps from the beach but also close enough to all the wonderful restaurants, bars and shopping. You are also an hour from one of our other favorite places, Manual Antonio.
