Welcome to Barnes Family Farm- a farm stay retreat with a pool, where wide open space, fresh air, and a one-of-a-kind country experience come together just minutes from town.

Set on 40 peaceful acres, this working farm stay offers a rare blend of relaxation, privacy, and hands-on farm charm. Guests love waking up to the quiet countryside, seeing horses nearby, and experiencing a slower pace while still being conveniently located close to local restaurants, shopping, and essentials.

Inside, the home is bright, open, and designed for gathering. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light and showcase beautiful sunset views across the property. The open floor plan makes it easy to spend time together whether you’re cooking, relaxing, or entertaining.

The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a drawer microwave, and everything you need for meals during your stay. The living area features a smart TV for streaming, and there is a laundry room available for convenience.

The primary bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed and a spacious bathroom with a double vanity and large tiled shower with dual shower heads. The guest bedroom is perfect for families, offering a bunk setup with a full bed, twin bed, and an additional twin.

Step outside and this is where the property really stands out.

Enjoy relaxing by the saltwater pool, perfect for cooling off on warm days or relaxing. The screened-in back porch overlooks the pool and is a guest favorite for morning coffee or winding down in the evening.

The property is more beautiful than the pictures. The home was spotless in every area! The hosts were great! We were traveling for a couple's getaway to relax after golf. Private pool was listed in the listing, however, upon arrival we discovered the pool is open for all the property to see. I would suggest putting up a 90-degree privacy fence, if couples are looking for a private vacation spot. Otherwise, this is a 10

A Tremendous Stay

This house and the property on which it sits are amazing. We spent a week with our 3 dogs and will certainly do so again. The pool is perfect. The sun room is a treasure. This is definitely one of our favorite places to stay as a family.

Perfect place to unwind

My family and I stayed here while making a cross country move. It was such a welcome oasis with plenty of space for the moving truck and all of us to stretch a bit. The house was immaculate, Alyson was super accommodating and we loved our time here!

Golf Weekend

Stayed for two nights with my golf group for a couple of days playing the Capitol Hill courses. What a wonderful property to spend time at. Minutes from the course and a multitude of restaurants, which would be great had we not cooked in the wonderful kitchen

The Perfect Oasis For Our Family

This property is truly a treasure! We came here to take refuge from hirricane Milton, and we didnt want ro leave. The view, the house, the town, it was all so dreamy and just what we needed to keep our minds at ease while our home was being hit by the hurricane. None of us wanted to leave.

Peaceful!

The location was perfect! We had a very peaceful stay. It is a lovely decorated property and VERY clean. I came for my 50th birthday to relax and unwind. I wanted to swim so bad, but with the cooler temperatures, the water was too cold for me...lol. There was great communication from Alyson and she made sure we had firewood for the fire pit. I would definitely book again.

Simply perfect!

We consider ourselves very lucky to have stayed here during our trip to the area because this place is an absolute gem. It is just as breathtaking as the pictures, and as for amenities, we truly could not have asked for anything more. We particularly enjoyed the large assortment of board games available to play. There was a slight hiccup with the check-in process (not the host's fault), but the host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Honestly, we have not been this impressed with a vacation rental in years, and this place has become the new gold standard against which we will measure all future stays. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!

Fountain City Properties also handles residential rentals and has one of the only $100 flat property management fees for year-long rental properties in the area.
I served in the Army National Guard for 6 years where I was a chemical soldier, I was a college cheerleader, I have a degree from UNA in psychology, I am the team leader and Associate Broker for The A-Team of Local Realty, owner of Fountain City Properties, and have 2 little boys who are the light of my life. Prattville and Wetumpka are also just a couple of miles away. Within walking distance to the blueberry you-pick farm (when in season), minutes from shops, restaurants, and amenities in Prattville, Millbrook, Montgomery, and Wetumpka area. Less than a mile to Jackson Lake Island-Alabama River boat launch,13 minutes from Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, 21 minutes to the Wetumpka Casino, 15 minutes to Cooter's Pond boat ramp, 21 minutes to Maxwell AFB, 15 minutes to downtown Montgomery, and 34 minutes to Lake Jordan.
