I’ve stayed at the Alii several times and it is the best. This unit was no different. It was clean, had a great kitchen, plus in unit laundry and spectacular views of the mountains and the ocean. We were here for our babymoon and had the most relaxing time. Can’t wait to come back

Great views as described in the VRBO listing. The furnishings are somewhat outdated. Besides this it was a good place to stay.

Incredible property with plenty of space for a family. Proximity to pool and ocean is great! Overall a great experience but two noteworthy things: upon our arrival there was a plumbing issue with one of the sinks, which was swiftly fixed the next day after contacting customer service. One night, the folks one floor above threw a very loud spring break party preventing our kids from falling asleep. After contacting the customer service, they successfully enforced the quiet hours (past 10 pm).

An incredible experience. Loved our stay.

We booked this last minute and wow did we get lucky. Beautiful views from our condo. Beach and Mountains! Very comfortable even for a family of 5. The condo was incredibly well stocked and we cooked several days. The property is wonderful as well. Perfect location. The grounds were awesome and well-kept. Amenities were top notch from the pools, hot tubs, and cooking area to the gym. We would stay here again.

Great overall but with some flaws.

We have stayed at the Kaanapali Alii several times and the property, location and staff are still top notch. They now have a chef at night who helps in the barbecue area if you need grilling help. This unit is great, but there are some things to be cautious of. Most of the units have a few steps but once you step down there are no more stairs to worry about. This unit has stairs that lead down to the kitchen, down to the master and up to the second ‘bedroom.’ Not recommended for the elderly. The second ‘bedroom’ is a den converted to a bedroom. This would be fine if they sound-proofed the room but it’s right next to the living room TV and kitchen area so if noise is a factor for anyone sleeping, this could be a problem. Finally, the couch, for us, was extremely uncomfortable for sitting but the two rocking chairs were very comfortable . We didn’t use the pullout bed. Don’t get me wrong, the place is great and it was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathrooms were well stocked and we were visited daily by a bird we called ‘Buddy.’ But it’s not without its flaws and I would be remiss to mention them. If stairs aren’t an issue and you don’t mind a little noise coming from your own kitchen and living room, there should be no hesitation to rent this unit.
