We stayed there for a week and loved it. When I had a question I messaged the host and she got back immediately. The place was clean and well equipped. The rooster in the neighborhood was so cool to hear. Not really that close but could hear in distance. Loved sleeping on that comfy bed and cooking on that weber grill. And that shower I have never seen one like that! Very cool! Overall the place was great not a single complaint! I don't think anyone would be disappointed. Thank you Janet and Ed.

Perfect for Our Needs

Couple visiting to mountain bike and hike, location was perfect for us. Loved that we had an outdoor space. Hosts were easy to work with. Supermarket and restaurants close by.

Exceptionally Comfortable

Such comfortable accommodations! Spacious, very clean, abundantly stocked with so many thoughtful niceties! Private, but close to restaurants and shopping in Cave Creek and Carefree. Very quiet for sleep. Cute quail, doves, and rabbits around the property. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the Phoenix area.

Quiet, Beautiful Sunsets

We liked having our own placed detached from the main house. Quiet neighborhood but close to grocery stores and restaurants. W/D a plus. Parked right next to front door - easy in and out. Great 8 night stay.

Cave Creek Hospitality

Ed and Janet are attentive and welcoming hosts. This home is just outside Scottsdale. It is well appointed and has a very comfortable bed. Our only issue was the front yard. The desert location made the area dusty and not pleasant to sit outside.

We had a great stay at Casita Tranquilla. The place was just as it looked on the website and was very well stocked! The beds were very comfy as was the entire place. Great hosts who were very easy to communicate with. And the location was perfect! We hope to be back again.

Great Stay

Best hosts we’ve had so far! Very welcoming, attentive, informative and available to assist in any way. Property was great! All amenities covered and casita was actually more like a small house. The location is great. Close to Cave Creek/Carefree and North Scottsdale. Our thanks to Ed and Janet for an awesome experience!

Fantastic Location and Terrific Accomodations

We would give this place 10 stars if we could. It is a beautiful quiet and private spot in a perfect location for great restaurants, golf and sightseeing adventures. Perfect for a couple. The hosts stock the kitchen with snacks and assorted K cups. Everything you need is here - full kitchen stuff; a stocked bathroom with everything you need for toiletries you might forget; very nice linens; plenty of closet space and hangers with 2 dressers; comfortable king sized bed; nice TV with Apple TV streaming; and strong WiFi. Next time we come to Scottsdale we will definitely book this place again!!! Thank you Ed and Janet our hosts!

We love this property and roomy casita nestled in Cave Creek. It is out of the hubub but easily accessible to Scottsdale events. Ed and Janet are great hosts. This is our second stay and we plan to come back next year!

Ed and Janet truly set up their beautiful casita for their guests to relax and enjoy - so cozy and there’s nothing you would need to ask for - the books - the luxury house coats - the cozy decor - stocked with coffees - you can’t say enough we loved our stay and this is our forever stay place!

The casita had a lot of room and the hosts made everything easy for us, including toiletries and having water and snacks available. The bed was very comfortable and we felt spoiled by the fancy robes.

Awesome experience!!!

Owners were very friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond!! Great location to geocery store, target, and bars/restaurants. Quiet and off nearing path which we loved. Property is awesome and a lot of room for a casita and great set up. Only about 10 minutes from carefree/cave creek area. Very quaint and awesome places to eat. Just a few; the Grotto, local Jonny’s, uncle Louie’s, and the victory station just to name a few. Also if you’re a cigar smoker Sticks!! Love this area!! Definitely would recommend this place. Janet and Ed are great hosts. Thanks for making our stay away from home amazing!! See you next year!!!

Great spot!

Casita tranquilla is a great spot. Just off of N Scottsdale Rd, it is very quiet but close to everything you need. Ed and Janet were very helpful.

Cozy and private in beautiful setting

This is a great place to stay for those who like to be out of the fray in a peaceful setting, while having easy access to Scottsdale amenities and great hiking. The casita is situated at the back of a large lot, separate from the main house. The living space is very comfortable and a good size by casita standards, with the bedroom separate from the main living area, as well as a large bathroom. Ed and Janet are fantastic hosts and made it clear that they wanted us to fully enjoy the place and not worry about cleaning up before we left. We also appreciated all of the supplied sundries, including soaps, detergents, lotions, paper and plastic products. The kitchen is also well supplied. Cooking surface included two portable induction cooktops which were very convenient and kind of fun to use. A toaster oven, large convection/microwave and Weber grill are also provided, though it was too cool to grill outside while we were there. Also appreciated were the keurig coffee pods, granola bars, salt, pepper and sugar. You will need to provide all other food items. Ed gave us great info on good local restaurants, and hiking trails and responded immediately when we had an internet connection glitch. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Sunsets Cozy & Comfortable

Very nice Casita at back of property. Has everything thing you need. Very comfortable king bed and nice walk in shower. Comfortable power reclining loveseat for TV viewing. Ed and Janet live on the property and was very accommodating. A quick text and any issues are addressed. Close to shopping and dinning. Would recommend it to everyone.
