The Penthouse is located within Villa Amistad, a boutique hillside villa with only a small collection of private apartments. It’s an ideal way to enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of staying in a villa setting without needing to rent the entire property.

This expansive 3-bedroom, 3-bath penthouse occupies the entire top floor and is created by combining Miguel’s Mirador (1BR) and Iván’s Bella Vista (2BR) into one seamless retreat. Guests enjoy two large private ocean-facing terraces, sweeping views of Banderas Bay, and easy walkability to the Malecón, beaches, restaurants, art galleries, and nightlife.

The Space:

Step inside and you’re immediately greeted by floor-to-ceiling glass doors and open ocean views, filling the home with natural light and sea breezes. Mornings begin with coffee overlooking the bay, afternoons drift by with warm breezes and quiet relaxation, and evenings bring unforgettable sunsets, winter whale sightings, and fireworks over the water.

Guest Access:

Parking and drop-offs

Guests may pull up to the villa to unload luggage. Parking is not permitted in the alley, but free street parking is available nearby on adjacent streets.



The Neighborhood:

Located in El Cerro/Centro, Puerto Vallarta’s original hillside neighborhood:

- 5-minute walk to the Malecón

- 10–20 minutes to beaches, restaurants, nightlife, and art galleries

- Moderate hill; Uber and taxis are inexpensive and plentiful

- Guests love being close to everything while returning to a quieter, residential setting.



Getting Around:

The Romantic Zone, Centro, and 5 de Diciembre neighborhoods are all within walking distance—most places are 5–25 minutes away on foot. The hill up to the villa is moderate; guests who prefer not to walk are welcome to use the many Ubers and taxis readily available and affordable in this area. Local buses run along the main roads below and cost 10 pesos (exact change required).

FAMILY NOTE

Families with children are welcome; however, the villa is not childproof. There is an unfenced pool, open stairs, low railings, and breakable artwork. Parents are encouraged to reach out before booking to ensure the property is a good fit.
