My wife, 13 month old son and I rented this condo for a week in May and could not have been more impressed with every aspect of our stay. Upon booking, the owner made the process smooth by putting us in contact with the onsite concierge and providing recommendations for local activities and restaurants. To my surprise, we also were able to secure transpiration to the condo in a Chevy Suburban at no additional cost.
When we arrived, based on the pictures we knew we were going to have an awesome view and condo, but pictures could not do it justice. The view from the patio, master bedroom, living room and kitchen is gorgeous and every night we got to see the most stunning sunset without have to leave the condo. The condo is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need. It was nice to be able to watch All the US stations on dish TV provided and catch up on any shows with Netflix as well.
We spent the most time at the stunning Infiniti pool located on the 13th floor, the views again of both the beach and downtown Puerto Vallarta where breathless and would be tough to beat. Typically when you have this view in a resort setting the cost of food and drinks is extremely expensive. Not as Sayan Beach, the restaurant and bar is subsidized by the owners, so the cost is minimal. Examples are .75 cent Coronas, $1.50 fresh squeezed Mimosas (drink of choice on the trip) and fresh made Guacamole for $2.25. That is just a sampling, but all the associates who work there will make whatever you want and it will cost barely anything. Staying at a resort would easily triple or quadruple the amount we spent on food and drinks.
Our biggest concern for this property was distance to restaurants and the Malecon (beach Boardwalk) as we had our 13 month old son and preferred to walk than taxi, but John assured us there was a lot within walking distance and he was correct. We took walks daily to the boardwalk and downtown and it was a short walk down a pebble stone street. Or if walking is not preferred, we met some older condo owners who routinely took the bus for .50 cents or a taxi was available for a minimal cost. To get to the start of the boardwalk it was $3.
I can't say enough good things about this condo and Puerto Vallarta as a whole. I did tell the owner that we will be back and won't stay at any other location in Puerto Vallarta.
Oh yeah, the beach is close and nice as well, but with our little one the pool was much easier for us.
