Room is much larger than we thought! Cozy and clean. Access to the hotel’s amenities. Location is the selling point. One block west is the cutest shopping district with several phenomenal dining options and live music. One block east is the river/ Canadian border and more dining options. BE AWARE: this town is walkable, but also located on a steep hill, so it’s not as easily walkable for anyone with movement challenges. Lewiston is one of my favorite cities I have ever visited. Everyone was incredibly nice at the hotel, in the restaurants, even on the streets. This room was a perfect complement to a lovely trip.

What we liked:The property was clean and well maintained, the staff was pleasant and professional. It was renovated and charming, by which I mean to say that it had character as opposed to being an out-of-the-box national chain hotel. If you want standardization, this is not your place. The vibe of the hotel, the location, and the river view were very good, as was the Silo restaurant near the property. Our rooms were clean and the fixtures, bed, and television were new with good cable service. What we could have liked better (but still not bad):The internet service was disrupted regularly in the evening. This affected the connection to the TV cable service, which was annoying during the Bills game. Our bedroom was right outside the fire escape. At night, the powerful safety light that illuminated the escape overpowered the curtains and left the bedroom uncomfortably bright at night. It made it difficult to sleep well some nightsThe room and kitchen were thoughtfully appointed, but the bedroom lacked a chest of drawers of any kind. A closet with hangers was available, but no place to put folded clothes. This is a bit of an oversight for an "extended stay" apartment. All in all, though, we enjoyed our stay and would come again. They would definitely rank 5 stars across the board if they addressed these small items

Thank you so much for the detailed and constructive feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our unique, charming vibe, clean property, and professional staff, as well as the beautiful river views and neighboring Silo Restaurant. It is wonderful to know that, overall, you had a great stay and would choose to return. We also sincerely appreciate you highlighting the specific areas where we can improve. Because we are an independent boutique property rather than a standardized national chain, feedback like yours is exactly how we fine-tune our guest experience.
