Amazing bedroom/bathroom

We stayed 3 nights (from Virginia) and loved this place. Right on the beach. Very walkable, no problem with no a/c since you have an amazing ocean breeze at all times. Clean place with nice primary bedroom/bathroom. Nice to have the pool and hot tub. Amazing restaurants. Well equipped place.

Such a great place to stay with a group if you want to be right on the beach! You’re steps away from the water, a community pool/hot tub, and shopping/eating. It was nice to be walking distance to things because parking when you’re out and about is not ideal and at least you’re guaranteed a spot at the resort. The condo itself is plenty spacious and a fun vibe. A few things are outdated, but it’s exactly what you expect for the price point and location. It was cleaner than most hotels and our was very pleased. Thanks for a good time!

The condo was GREAT, the weather not so much. The only thing about the condo that the owners should consider is changing the carpets, they are due for an upgrade. Also the slide curtains. We actually repaired many of them ourselves. Those type are very hard to open and close without issues. They should be change to something easier. Loved everything else about the condo.

We have stayed many times at Capri by the Sea. Mostly in 501. We really enjoy the view and accommodations. All the front desk and security people were very helpful and friendly. This check-in was the easiest we have had so far. We will be back!

DON’T RENT! This property has been wrongly advertised. There is no air or heat at all. No thermostat or duck work. The carpets are gross. We left and couldn’t stay at this location. I contacted VRBO and the property management. They have agreed to refund my account but have failed to do so after two discussions.

Lovely get away

The location & size of the condo were perfect. We loved the view of the ocean and the proximity to La Jolla & downtown San Diego. The staff was attentive and friendly. The condo is showing a bit of age/wear & tear but overall was very good.

Overall we had a great time. The views are amazing! Although when we arrived we felt the unit could of been cleaned a little more thoroughly.. (Mirrors not cleaned, showers not totally cleaned, major prints on sliding doors, clothes left by previous tenants) but overall would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a beach view, this is definitely it! We got in early on our flight and would’ve liked to check in early but could not. They said they were shampooing/cleaning the carpets and they would be wet. When we finally got checked in, there was not even a slight dampness to the carpets they were not cleaned. Also, some instructions on the lights and other things in the room would have been nice. Overall, it’s an OK stay but it could use some updating/paint and also work on the kitchen cupboard doors. The door under the sink completely fell off on the top latch when I tried opening it. We got in on a Friday and attempted to contact people Friday night Saturday, but kept being redirected and said someone would get with us in the morning, which never happened. Took us a day to figure everything out, but overall, it was a great stay if you’re not too fussy.

We also apologize for the difficulty contacting our team Friday night; we’ll review our communication process to prevent messages from being redirected or overlooked. Thank you for noting the need for clearer instructions — we’ll add better guidance for lights and appliances. The cabinet door under the sink should not have come off; our maintenance team will inspect and repair that latch and check other cupboards. We’ll also assess the unit for needed paint and updates. View is everything

View floor to ceiling of waves and ocean from living room to master bedroom. Perfect. Three bed three bath rare. Sliding doors wrap around made for constant breeze and killer view. 180 degrees. One of showers didn’t work. The interior was old and only some things worked. Showers had good water pressure. Would definitely stay there again.
