Ideally located just steps from the beach, the Sea Coast Condominiums offer ample opportunities for beachfront fun and relaxation, with a heated pool and spa, lounge areas, and shuffleboard courts to keep you entertained.

This two-bedroom condo features an open floor plan with plush furnishings and a beachfront backdrop, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, space to dine at the table and the additional breakfast bar, and an expansive balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean.

There are beach chairs and towels to bring down to the sand, TVs in every room to welcome you back, and free WiFi throughout the condo. Two full bathrooms pair with the two bedrooms, including a primary suite with balcony access.

New Smyrna Beach is the second oldest town in Florida - what many recall as the Florida of yesteryear. Known for its coastal architecture and personality, New Smyrna Beach is a prime location for surfers as well as visitors looking for a laid-back beach experience filled with hidden adventures. This warm-hearted surf town offers 13 miles of beach and a historic downtown with a lively mix of one-of-a-kind boutiques, local eateries, fashion-forward coffee houses, and bars. No matter how simple or eclectic your taste, the spirited New Smyrna Beach area has something for everyone.

Things to know
Pool wristbands and parking passes must be purchased in the lobby on-site. Each parking pass is $30 plus tax; wristbands are $5 plus tax for anyone over 12 years old.
There is currently construction along the beach as the county repairs the sea wall. Off the balcony, guests will see and possibly hear construction from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To access the beach, guests will need to walk to the Sea Coast II building while wearing their wristbands to reach the beach through the pool area there.
This condo is located in the car-free section of New Smyrna Beach.
Coin-operated laundry facilities are on the fourth floor.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 4.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beach vacation

Perfect location . Comfortable beds linens kitchen. Restaurant and groceries within walking distance across street. Views for beach from every window. Nice residents/renters on property. Would be great and convenient to have gas grill on property.

Home away from home.

We have stayed in 401 twice now, two years apart and it is a great base and comfortable abode to return to after a hard day at the beach or pool or Flagler Ave. Everything thing you need is here to cook or relax and make yourself at home. Large nice TV with streaming options to have movie night, especially with kids. We slept well, ate well and played well. The supply closet had beach chairs and umbrellas, extra items etc.. more than enough towels. Dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, multiple coffee makers can bring k cups if you got them or ground coffee. The owner has the parking pass and pool bands in the kitchen wall already so no need to go check in at building office like the email says. Enjoy!!

Great Beach Area

This property is in a very good location and the beach area is wonderful. Pool was very nice as well and never crowded during our stay. Nice Condo with a lot of extra things like beach chairs, umbrella's, games, etc. The view from the balcony was amazing, you could see the ocean very well and could look straight down on the pool, very nice. My only complaint was our check-in...we did not receive the paperwork we needed before we traveled on this trip. When we tried to contact the number listed on our reservation confirmation for help on the check-in process, we could not reach the owners. We even left a call back number and did not hear a word from them our entire stay. We did call VRBO and they were very helpful in sending us the proper paperwork we needed to access our Condo. The ladies at the office of the Resort were also helpful but did not have us down because the owners did not let them know the Condo was rented during this time. So overall, it's a very nice place to stay and also in a good location for shopping and eating but I'd probably book directly with the Resort next time instead of going through VRBO and not having any contact from the owners of the property.

Disappointed

We almost never leave reviews, but felt it was necessary in this case as the listing is misleading and we definitely expected better for the cost. First, the property management group is a large company on the Pacific Coast. They require everyone to have a phone call to verify your identity prior to the stay, but never communicated that. Instead we got an early morning (day of) "your reservation is at risk of being canceled, please call immediately" email. We called only to be on hold for several hours before being able to speak to someone. The building is old and run down. There are cracks in the building, the elevator is very old/ dingy, and there is no lobby or anything nice to greet you for your stay. Inside the condo, the beds were uncomfortable and on cheap metal frames leading to many stubbed toes and banged shins. The shower curtain and rod were broken and laying on the floor. The toilet paper holder was broken. The coffee pot was bottom of the line/basic and no coffee shops nearby. Oh and worst of all, the sliding glass door to the balcony has a broken lock and no way to secure the door which was a major safety concern since we were traveling with 3 little kids. The pool is definitely NOT heated and was absolutely freezing in late April. There was no one in the pool at all. Since we booked this condo specifically since it was advertised as having a heated pool, this was a major disappointment for us and our children. We travel a lot and are easy going, but would not stay here again. Very disappointing.

Disappointed...

As I write this review I am having a hard time separating my thoughts on the unit itself and the management company. Anyway, I will just describe my experience. PROS Great location - right on the “no driving” beach Unit was clean Great views - unit was on the corner Beds were good enough Pre-booking process was good as the management company got back to me in a timely manner with my questions. CONS Immediately upon arrival problems began. The code we were given to get into the unit did not work. I called and texted the management company 4 times. Finally, after 30-45 minutes they got back to me. We tried several codes until finally one worked after much jiggling of the touchy lock. The first night it was a bit cold in the unit (not a problem in itself) so I went to the closet to get a blanket. For some odd reason it was soaked wet. Another disappointment was the laundry arrangements. I knew that there were no machines in the unit which is not a problem. The issue was that the machines, which looked like they were from the 1970s, only took quarters. Who carries quarters these days? Additionally, there was not a change machine there. Unfortunately, it was a Saturday and all the banks were closed for the next two days. So I went to no less than 6 restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. No one would give me quarters! Who knew there was a quarter shortage in New Smyrna! My biggest complaint and the main reason I gave it 2 stars was that the pool was not heated. Before I booked the unit I was told several times from the owners/management company that the pool was to be heated during our stay. It was not - even though they assured us it would be. We chose this unit and complex for precisely that reason as we have an eight year old son who wanted to swim. Well, the pool was not heated but rather frigid and unswimmable. To put it simply; if we were told the pool was unheated, we would not have rented and stayed here. Thus, the stars deduction. If this unit was inexpensive I would give it a much easier pass. But at this price range I expect details to be taken care of. Some other minor things include - expired water filter cartridge in the refrigerator, very small night stand with no lamp for reading in second bedroom, limited supplies such as oils, coffee filters (I know they mentioned that in the description but other high end places are well stocked). This could be a great place with a couple of minor tweaks.

beautiful location

The beach is lovely. The condo is roomy and met our expectations with the exception of not being able to open windows or sliding doors to balcony for sea breezes. No screens. Had no option but to run the air con and that felt stuffy and humid when entering from the outdoors with the gorgeous cool sea breeze. The elevator in the building worked about 50% of the time. That is not the unit owners' responsibility but is a concern if you are not able to manage the steps to the fourth floor. We had difficulty getting the keyless entry to our door to work properly several times, but the owners' representative company was responsive to our email and rectified the problem. The stove top quit working but we were able to locate the fuse box and trip the switch to get it going again. We did enjoy our stay at this location and certainly loved the beautiful ocean view, walking on the beach, sunrises, and sitting on our balcony.

Just okay

I booked this property for a quick weekend getaway with the family. Overall, it was okay. I have summarized our experience below: Pros- Location is great - right on the beach and the view is great! -Perfect size condo for a small family. -Check in was easy -Nice upgrades in the condo with vinyl flooring, upgraded fixtures and counters in the kitchen and bathrooms. -Beds were very comfy -Towel's were plush and clean. Cons - the building is run down and needs some TLC. Granted, it is oceanfront so it gets beat up with the weather, but the outside needs some painting and improvements. - the electric lock on the door is finicky - slightly better directions could be given and defined more clearly. - Some of the bedside lamps were missing the knobs to turn them on. - The doors in the condo could use some upgrades or at least a fresh coat of paint - they were peeling as were some of the ceilings. - We had two VERY large roommates the first night (roaches - NOT palmetto bugs). I found a bottle of spray treatment and was able to spray the appropriate areas and eliminate the two large roaches. We did not see any more after the first night. -For the property - FYI - there are stairs to get down to the beach and the beach disappears at high tide. - It needs to be made very clear that there is one parking spot and one parking spot only available for this property . Additional spots are not available for purchase/rent and the managing office could not offer much of a recommendation for where/if another vehicle could park overnight.

Beautiful Location and Property

The view was beautiful from the property. We had excellent views of the ocean and the pool from the balcony. The condo was tastefully decorated and had everything that you needed to feel at home. The only issue we had was the TV in the living room did not work properly and was not hooked up to cable or any type of TV. The TV in the bedrooms were working so while we weren't able to watch TV together in the evenings, we were able to retire to our separate rooms. There was also an issue with a required parking pass. We reached out to the rental company, but never heard back so went to the office and they were able to help us. It all worked out and it was just a few small bumps, but we enjoyed our beach getaway!
