Nostalgic charm and clean, mountain living combine at this Lake Junaluska cabin. Spend summer days beneath the shade of the trees and while away your afternoons on the covered front porch. Outdoor recreation and fun abound, both on and off the water.

After a day of adventure, return home and unwind in the living room. Find something to watch on the flatscreen TV or put in a DVD for a family movie night. The tidy, full kitchen comes equipped with all the essentials for at-home cooking and meals can be enjoyed at the indoor dining bench or out on the porch at the table set for four.

A sunny day room adjoining the primary suite houses the washer/dryer.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Tee it up at historic Lake Junaluska Golf Course, get out on the water with kayak and paddleboard rentals, or walk the lake trail for a chance to see some a diverse array of native birds and wildlife. A haven for fly fishing, the area is home to many species of fish including bass, crappie, brim, bluegill, and trout. Community features include a children's playground, shuffleboard courts, and a seasonal, outdoor pool.

This property was full of mold on walls and futon was covered in mold. We ended up after being there 30 minutes booking a hotel. I can say they gave me my money back quickly after i sent in the pictures. The pictures online are not what you walk into, very outdated.

House was older but had some nice updates. It was extremely clean and cozy. Would absolutely stay there again. The only thing missing was a dishwasher. The entrance is a bit steep and has lots of steps up to the door but overall it was an amazing find for the price.

Loved the cottage. However driveway not motorcycle friendly, and definitely not for truck and trailer. Narrow, gravel, and on incline with no turn around to get bikes back out.

This stay was amazing. Everything we needed was available and working. Everything was clean and neat. The quaint, rustic cabin offered the perfect vibes for our winter stay. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

Quaint & Cozy Cabin

Even though the decor seemed to be 'early flea market', it added charm to an older cabin originally built for the terry family. Being set back from the road and in the trees helped it stay cool & quiet. Especially enjoyed the upgraded bathroom and kitchen. Also impressed with the extras provided: fast wifi, quality toiletries, the britta water pitcher, smart tv, laundry soap, and plenty of nice towels. Even a nice nature trail nearby. A pleasant place to spend our vacation.

Waynesville cabin 3/30/24

The beds were hard as a rock and we woke up with bruises. The dryer is loud and overheats and takes way too long to dry things. There was dust and spiderwebs everywhere which made it hard for my asthmatic partner to breathe. THERE WAS A DEAD MOUSE IN THE LARGE BEDROOM CLOSET. One of us fell backwards out of one of the indoor rocking chairs so hard that they blacked out. The kitchen also didn't come with any oil, spices, teabags, etc. But the wooden paneling and the view is nice! We liked having a TV; not sure why there was one in the big bedroom. This place is probably haunted too. 3 stars.

Reminds me of childhood mountain trips

Small but sufficient hideaway. We enjoyed a long weekend. Went tubing in Canton. Bathroom is new and modern as well as kitchen. Old paneling sets a perfect rustic mood. We would return here

Nice Place

This cabin is in a secluded and wooded area right above the county road. (Far enough away for barely hearing any passing traffic.) It is certainly one of the older and original cabins at Lake Junaluska. We appreciated the updated bathroom and nice kitchen. Backing out was a little tedious, but the beauty and restfulness of the cabin made it worth the navigating out.
