The Lazy Goat Cabin is the perfect unique place to kick back and relax. Built in 2022, this peaceful 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers a rustic interior with farmhouse style furniture and décor, gas grill and firepit for sunset smores! Sit out on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand and enjoy the local wildlife. Just 10 minutes from town, enjoy the locally owned stores and restaurants. Centrally located to rafting, canoeing/kayaking, golf, hiking, wineries and Casino.

The Lazy Goat was a great place to stay and relax right before returning back to work. The host was very responsive. The amenities in and at the home were great, that we didn’t have to leave the cabin. I can’t wait to return back with my family or for a girls getaway.

Very nice and clean smelled AMAZING when we got there! Loved the fire place and the back porch spent most of my time out there watching tv and reading a book!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Nice little touches with the smore's kit. We felt comfortable using the hot tub as it was very clean. Enjoyed using the fire pit as well. Everything was set up perfectly.

Lazy Goat Cabin

Great location to get to downtown Murphy for dinner and an easy drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Recreation area. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice weekend getaway.

So my husband suprised me with this stay for our 20th anniversary! When we pulled up i instantly was just wowed! When we walked in i was in tears of joy! The perfection of the detail in the cabin itself was top tier. The cabin was very clean! The special touch of the s'more bucket made it that more special by the host! Absolutely a beautiful, well kept and spacious cabin for an entire family to enjoy of all ages!

Anniversary Trip

Had a great time at this wonderful cabin. It was decorated so cute for the holiday with a beautiful Christmas tree. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary and would definitely book this cabin again.

Very clean and enjoyable property. TV next to hot tub made watching football games even more enjoyable. Interior was clean and well organized. Enjoyed the extra Christmas additions such as Christmas tree and Grinch references.

Very clean cabin!

This property was AWESOME!!! The cabin is very clean and comfortable with ALL the modern amenities. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sitting by the fire at night. The location is great and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the morning. We will be back.

All together the BEST cabin I have stayed in!!!! So clean , all appliances was basically brand new. Everything you need they already have it in the cabin😁 we loved all the tvs, the fire pit, grill, porch swing (right outside the master bedroom), hot tub, all the games provided. Will forsure book again😁.

Fantastic

The cabin was just as described. Super clean, everything worked well, and the hosts have it perfectly prepared with everything I needed for cooking. I would only pass 1 item and that would be a cheese grater. The hot tub was so wonderful and relaxing, the beds very comfy, and the surroundings made my heart to happy. We all enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Liz! Also, the host was super responsive.
