One Smowmass @ Snowmass Base Village
The property is greatly situated, walking distance everywhere. The condo itself is beautiful and spacious, tastefully furnished and well equipped, however heavily overpriced including a lot of ridiculous fees on top of the the rental. The condo was a little bit far from the elevators, it was a walk actually. The main leaving room and kitchen and the master bedroom plus kids’ room is facing north with a beautiful valley view. Unfortunately the main road was sometimes noisy. You get some direct sun light in the morning in the dining area however that will be blocked in near future when new construction next door will be finished. The concierge did not explain us upon arrival that the building is actually ski in ski out, we had to figure it out ourselves in a couple of days. The pool/ large hot top at the common roof terrace was not working for a day or two, and we were not notified. We rented during the Christmas and Chanukah holidays, and surprisingly there were no seasonal decorations in the condo. When I kindly asked the manager for any Christmas tree, and possibly also Chanukah candle and decorations, I got several thousands dollars proposal, which I found crazy..considering the super expensive rental fee. Unfortunately I forgot all my medications there in a drawer in the master bathroom, and nobody has contacted me that they found it. However they were helpful with the check out. The condowas great but definitely not worth the money we payed for it during the high season.
