Welcome to Chico Creek House!

We hope you love our 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with a hot tub, fire pit, bbq and sunroom with foosball table, darts and poker. Enjoy the park like backyard with private gated access to Little Chico Creek.

This is a family friendly house, in a quiet neighborhood, a couple blocks from Baroni Park. Also located across from the new Meriam Park Development that includes restaurants, shops, shows and a dog park.

We are only 35 minutes to the snow! Head up Highway 32 to Bambi Inn and enjoy a day of play and sledding.

As you walk through the front door, enter into an open floor plan living room, kitchen and dining room area. Living room is furnished with an L-shaped couch and a 60 inch TV. Enjoy a meal at the large dining room table. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, glasses, etc. Brand new washer and dyer and laundry soap available free of charge. Hardwood floors throughout the main living space and brand new carpet in the bedrooms.

The Master bedroom has a king bed w/ en suite bathroom and 50 inch TV. Two bedrooms have Queen size beds and 4th bedroom has an XL Twin trundle bed with a pull out additional twin bed underneath (additionally a large desk and large brand new 32 inch computer monitor are provided). A Queen size air mattress can be found in the bedroom closet and is available to set up in the living for 2 additional sleeping guests, up to 10 total.

There is large viewing Sunroom on the back of the house to enjoy the view of Little Chico Creek while also enjoying a game of foosball. In the backyard you will find a BBQ and grass area with fire pit and Adirondack chairs as well as a hot tub for your enjoyment.

Great place for families! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The property was clean and comfortable. The small touches of hospitality were appreciated as well.

We couldn’t believe the size of the house. There were 8 of us coming from Ohio for our grandson’s graduation. The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full size bathrooms. We were all very comfortable. The dining room table ( seats 10) allowed us to all play cards and LCR together. Plenty of dishes & pots & pans for cooking meals. And the hot tub was great for relaxing in the evening. Our host made our stay perfect. We would definitely book this again to visit with our Chico family.

Great vacation home along lovely Little Chico Creek

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was perfect home with spacious kitchen and living areas. Beds were very comfortable and sitting out in the backyard was a treat with the nature area right there. Great walking neighborhood close to shopping. Host was very responsive.

Weekend Getaway

This house was perfect for our trip to Chico. Fully stocked with kitchen basics. Check-in and out were very easy and the owner was great with timely communication. Would stay again if we have a need to be back in the area.

Quiet location and spacious home

This home was exactly as listed…great kitchen with all the necessities, plenty of coffee and a nice little snack and drinks to welcome us. I would stay here again for the peaceful quiet and natural views from the backyard.

Would stay here again!

The pictures don’t do this home justice! Perfect lay out for couples or large family. Rooms are big. The sunroom and gorgeous views in the backyard were a hit. The spacious kitchen and large dinning table met our needs hosting family. Julie was easy to communicate with and answered questions quickly. We had a great time.

Excellent for family gathering

Clean & open spacious house

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. The living area is large and spacious & has a separate area (sun room) which helps with children with a space to play safely & yet not interrupting adults in living room. Many extra amenities were provided which was appreciated.

Spacious, practical & well-equipped family hub

The house was a perfect casual place for our family who came to town for a family wedding. It even had ample space to treat extended family to dinner an evening. The house featured everything we needed & more. The host was an excellent communicator & went above & beyond to meet all of our special requests. Close and convenient to downtown Chico. We highly recommend this home & host. If we have need to stay in Chico again, this home will be our first choice!

Family Weekend

Overall the house was great. However, the stove top did not really work and there were very limited cooking equipment/supplies in kitchen. Luckily I brought my own electric griddle or it would have been almost impossible to cook (other than baking...as also brought my own casserole dishes) for my family...which I LOVE to do! With that said, I would rent again as the home was spaciousness & clean, and the host was very pleasant and accommodating.

Wedding Destination

My mom, adult children and 9 year old granddaughter came to town for daughter’s wedding. Perfect location about 20 minutes to the awesome Secret Trail Brewery Friday and the wedding on Saturday. The checkin process was extremely easy and hassle free. Beds were all comfy and the house was spacious. My 86 year old mom had no issue using her walker on both the solid surfaces floors in the living area or carpeted bedrooms. Additionally one of the bathrooms had a shower she could easily access. There is a nature area behind this property and we enjoyed watching the hawks,woodpeckers, hummingbirds and quail while lingering over our morning coffee.
